During the Osaka era, I used to visit regularly, but today I went to Fuzuki for the first time in a while. I've been here over 50 times in total, and what's great is that the taste never disappoints no matter which branch you visit! It's been almost 10 years since my last visit, so I got really excited and ended up ordering both modern yaki and omu soba (surprisingly similar noodles!). I ordered a large drink and it turned out to be huge, I couldn't finish it. It was very nostalgic and incredibly delicious.

I went to an event at Intex Osaka and visited this restaurant! It was around 6pm on a Saturday during Golden Week, and I waited for about 10 minutes to enter. I had the Chitama pork rice bowl, beef tendon soy sauce yakisoba, and tonpei! The staff came to our table to cook the dishes, so everything was delicious!

I had a service lunch. The staff mixes seeds in a silver bowl in front of you, then cooks it on a hot plate. I enjoyed ginger ale, potato salad, and cucumber while waiting. This waiting time enhances the taste even more. The portion size was generous. I will come back again when I'm on a business trip to Osaka.

The exhibition that had been canceled due to the coronavirus was finally held after about 3 years. It was like a building materials trade show, and by the time it ended, it was already lunchtime. The ATC Hall had changed a lot since the last time I visited, with fewer shops. I managed to secure a table with a view of the sunflowers behind glass and placed my order. I ordered the "Tsushiba Fuzuki Light" from what seemed to be a yakisoba specialty shop. The B set came with yakisoba, fried chicken, and potatoes for an additional 330 yen. They used a buzzer system to notify when the order was ready, and I went to pick it up myself. I poured my own water and returned to my table. The hot potatoes were delicious, and the yakisoba had thick, chewy noodles. Overall, it was a typical lunch at a food court. Let's head back soon and get back to work. Thank you for the meal!

Recently, I've been trying to limit my food intake a bit and have been avoiding okonomiyaki, but when I passed by the restaurant on an empty stomach, I couldn't resist (laughs). The smell drifting from the restaurant somehow drew me in. I usually go for the pork modern style, which is my go-to. However, lately I haven't been able to eat as much, so I opted for the mini size. Even so, the mini size at Fugetsu still has quite a lot of volume. Despite my reservations, I managed to finish it all (^^) Thank you for the meal!

The temporary job ended yesterday, so I decided to commemorate it by having a special lunch with Modern grill and appetizers. It was really good! The Modern grill was so filling that I was full right away. I hope this restaurant will have a permanent location soon.

I don't often go to okonomiyaki restaurants, not that I dislike them, but I feel like all the menu items are just sauce and mayo. It would be nice if there were different menu options. So, today's menu is not okonomiyaki. It is "Plenty of Vegetable Yakisoba for 1,150 yen tax included" and "Potato Asparagus for 660 yen tax included". I hope I won't get scolded for saying this, but Osaka-style okonomiyaki tends to be heavy. As I am elderly, please forgive me. The yakisoba has slightly flat noodles and the taste is average. There are indeed plenty of vegetables. The potato dish comes with 4 slices of meat and a few asparagus spears. I would love to visit a restaurant that focuses more on vegetables and uses less flour.

On the last day of the three-day weekend, let's go out to Nanko ATC♪ I wanted to eat something with sauce, so I came here... I waited in line for a bit. When winter comes, I start craving oyster okonomiyaki♪ I ordered seafood teppanyaki and cheese dakgalbi♪ The oysters were cute and delicious(*^-^) The garlic slowly cooked in oil was amazing! The chewy yakisoba noodles were also great. The smell of the sauce was irresistible... I also had a delicious okonomiyaki with lots of ingredients and now I'm full. Thank you for the meal✨

Today I visited ATC in Minato-ku for work. It's been a long time since I visited here. The atmosphere still doesn't seem very exciting. I decided to have lunch and looked at the location map. There are many chain stores here. I chose "Tsuruhashi Fugetsu" for lunch. It comes with the usual pork modern dish, a side dish, and a drink. The staff cooks it for you, and the thick noodles, a specialty of Fugetsu, are added to the okonomiyaki. After about 20 minutes, the beautiful "pork modern" dish is ready. Finally, sprinkle some seaweed and chili pepper on top. I cut the okonomiyaki with a spatula and take a bite. The crispy and fluffy texture is nice! The subtle sweetness of the cabbage and the perfect mix of sauce are amazing. This is the "pork modern" dish from Fugetsu! I thoroughly enjoyed it after a long time.

Still continuing the Osaka business trip, there is an okonomiyaki restaurant located in ATC right near Intex Osaka. This is my second visit here. The staff cooks the okonomiyaki on the table grill. The okonomiyaki has less flour, the cabbage is fluffy and not too heavy, which I like. Delicious! I also tried the butter-grilled squid, kimchi, salted kombu, cabbage, tonpeiyaki, yakisoba, and negiyaki. I saw on the poster that they have many stores mainly in Kansai region, and even in Tokyo! I didn't know that. Actually, we didn't have the energy to go all the way to Namba this day, so we stopped by this restaurant nearby for some okonomiyaki with everyone. Satisfied and full. Intex is a bit far from the city center, so ATC is convenient.

In the restaurant area of Nanko ATC, there is a place called Fuzuki where they cook okonomiyaki right in front of you, which Tokyo visitors find enjoyable. Children can eat buttered corn while waiting for their okonomiyaki to be ready. The drinks are served in beer mugs, which surprised the children. Bringing them here may have reinforced the image of Osaka being famous for okonomiyaki.

<Visited for the first time in October 2018> As a reminder... I was surprised to see how quiet this area gets after 8 pm on weekends. There were significantly fewer restaurants open, giving off a vibe of a lackluster city. Despite this, after finishing a training session, I finally decided on the reliable Tsuruhashi Fuzuki for dinner. The restaurant had about 10 table seats and a cozy atmosphere. We ordered the following:
- Butatama Modern-yaki (¥1069)
- Yakisoba (Regular portion, ¥820)
Tsuruhashi Fuzuki never disappoints. One of the good things about it is that there is no difference in quality between their branches.

On this day, there was an event at Intex Osaka, so I came to Minato to check it out. As food options are limited near Intex Osaka, I got off at Trade Center on the New Tram and made my way to ATC. This time, I decided to have okonomiyaki, so I visited this restaurant. It had been a long time since I last visited Kazuki. I chose the service lunch from the lunch menu, which included a soft drink, two appetizers, and a modern Butatama set. I had a cola. The appetizers for the day were edamame and egg salad. The staff cooks the okonomiyaki for you. They generously top it with noodles and bonito flakes, crack an egg on top, and cook it. The Butatama Modern set was very filling. It was enough to make me feel sleepy. In my younger days, I might have been able to eat another one, but age catches up. It was a delicious lunch. During a company event on February 22, 2018, we used "Tsukishiba Fuzuki Minamikou Store" for lunch. The store is operated by "Idea Co., Ltd.". In 1989, the management rights of "Tsukishiba Fuzuki" were acquired by our company from Tenma "Fuzuki", and thus began the journey as a okonomiyaki chain. As of 2020, we have expanded to 74 stores in Japan and 8 stores overseas, becoming the largest company in the industry. On this day, I visited with my boss. I was treated to a dish of Butatama Modern. It was a dish with a sauce that had a sour taste and the sweetness of cabbage. Surprisingly, it was quite light and I felt like I could eat 2-3 more pieces. It was not bad, but I couldn't feel the strong punch that Osaka is known for. Perhaps the identity has become diluted as the company expands globally.

I happened to come to Minato on business, so I decided to visit Fuzuki for the first time in a while. ATC on weekdays is quiet. They had a limited-time menu using oysters, so I ordered the okonomiyaki with oysters. At Fuzuki, the staff cooks everything for you. One of the features of Fuzuki is that the ingredients are placed inside the batter. The oysters are sandwiched between the batter and cooked. The oysters themselves are steamed rather than grilled. Personally, I prefer pork or oysters to have a grilled texture. Once it's cooked, they spread sauce and mayonnaise according to your preference. They put a generous amount in the center and spread it towards the outer edges, so the outer parts have less sauce. As you eat, you'll find that the center is quite spicy due to the sauce, but towards the end, it feels a bit lonely without sauce. I wish they would spread the sauce more evenly. Fuzuki has delicious yakisoba noodles, so I would like to try their yakisoba again. A yakisoba with lots of vegetables sounds appealing.

It's been a while since I visited Fuzuki! Although there is one in my hometown, Fuzuki is my favorite for okonomiyaki. Especially the yakisoba with thick and delicious noodles.
