I visited "Kura Sushi" for dinner on a regular evening. I was able to make a reservation online, so the wait time was about 10 minutes. I arrived before 8:00 PM and there was parking available, but the restaurant was almost full. It felt like customers were returning after a period of avoiding conveyor belt sushi, as the waiting area was also almost full. There were signs near the reception area reminding customers not to lick the soy sauce dispenser or touch the chopsticks. I imagined that the company must be going through a tough time due to some people lacking manners. I ordered a total of 1,960 yen worth of items, using the touch panel or my phone to place the order. Here is what I ordered: - Aged salted tuna (115) x2: Delicious and a must-try, I would order it again. A classic dish (today's tuna looked pale and lacked visual appeal). - Grilled eel (115) x2: Delicious and worth ordering again. - Grilled cheese salmon (140): Tasty and a must-try, a classic dish. - Shrimp avocado (120) x2: Delicious and worth ordering again, a classic dish (the size of the avocado can vary). - Natural dashi udon (200): Delicious and a definite must-try, my favorite at conveyor belt sushi restaurants (I prefer less tempura bits). - Grilled cheese pork ribs (140) x2: Delicious and a definite must-try, a classic dish. - Iron fire roll (180) x2: Average. - Freshly fried shrimp mayo sushi (140) x2: I might not order it again. It's a classic, but the mayo tasted too strong. The shrimp was delicious when hot. Next time, I'll try the shrimp tempura sushi! Thank you for the delicious meal. I will definitely visit again. They accept PayPay and card payments. In this ever-evolving conveyor belt sushi restaurant, table cleaning is done by hand, but unfortunately, the table was quite wet, possibly from being wiped with a soaking wet towel. It was disappointing. It's a difficult time when the quality of part-time staff is questionable, but it would be appreciated if improvements were made. It would be great if they used a new duster for better usability.

I made a reservation for dinner at 7:20 pm on a regular day. Nowadays, due to the morals of customers, sushi restaurants are generally empty... It's true that even without a reservation, you can be seated right away. To save on labor costs, most of the service is done by machines. Upon entering, you issue your own seat number ticket, order with your smartphone, dispose of the empty plates in the disposal slot, and finally, ask a staff member to check the plates and settle the bill at the register yourself. Today, I had natural dashi udon, enoki mushrooms, aged tuna, shrimp avocado, grilled cheese pork kalbi, grilled cheese salmon, natto roll, and shrimp tempura. They were all delicious. The natural dashi udon was sold without the udon noodles, which was surprising! (Kura's udon is the number one at the conveyor belt sushi restaurants). The shrimp avocado was made more carefully than before, which improved the image. The shrimp tempura was crispy and good. I feel sorry for the company, but I was satisfied with being able to eat delicious sushi at a low cost in a quiet restaurant. Thank you very much. It was a feast. I will visit again! You can pay with PayPay and credit cards.

Day trip to Osaka. Had lunch at Muten Kura Sushi in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture. It's a popular conveyor belt sushi chain with many branches nationwide. The restaurant is located by a busy main road with around 100 parking spaces. There are about 100 seats at the counter and tables. Surprisingly, it was not crowded even though it was noon on a weekend, maybe due to the influence of YouTube. The plates on the conveyor belt are all priced at 115 yen each. You order specific items through an intercom system. Each plate comes with a cover, not just for protection but also for COVID-19 prevention. They provide hot water and green tea for self-service. Ate 13 plates and the total came to 1495 yen. Overall, it was a decent meal. Yum! 🍣🍵

I went to Wakayama to play and ended up returning late, so I didn't have a dinner reservation. When I entered the restaurant, I used the touchscreen at the entrance to check in. It showed that there was a 5-minute wait for counter seats and a 30-minute wait for table seats. Since I wanted to go home quickly as I was with my family, I chose the counter seats and was seated in less than 5 minutes. The counter seats felt casual and comfortable, but I felt a bit uneasy because the person sitting across from me was at a table seat and our faces kept glancing at each other. I was so sleepy that I don't remember much about what I ate (I only took pictures at the beginning). While looking at the restaurant's website, I tried to recall what I ordered: eel liver battleship sushi, seasoned egg, fresh salmon, conger eel, squid and okra, and Hokkaido milk pudding tart. The pudding tart was a new item for me, but if you like sweet desserts, I highly recommend it! If I were asked what I want to eat again, I would choose this over sushi, it was my favorite side menu and shouldn't be underestimated, haha.

Let's eat quickly and go home! So, I went to the nearby conveyor belt sushi restaurant "Kura Sushi". I arrived around 7:30 pm on a weekday. There were only a few people waiting, about 10 minutes. Most people made reservations online, so they were able to enter without waiting. I was shown to my seat and ordered using my own mobile phone for a touchless experience. I ordered grilled eel (recommended), premium tuna (recommended), shrimp and avocado (unfortunately, they were out of mayonnaise), scallop with green onion and salt (limited-time item, like a salad), seared pork and cheese (recommended), iron fire roll (recommended), double shrimp tempura hand roll (first time trying, recommended for mayo lovers), seared salmon and cheese (this one was delicious), conger eel, and udon noodles with plenty of tempura bits. The total came to around 1,900 yen. It's really great that ordinary people can eat sushi at the restaurant and go home satisfied. I'm grateful for the efforts of the company. Even the checkout process was automated, allowing for self-payment using Rakuten points or PayPay. Thank you for the meal. I will visit again. *There were also more 200 yen menu items available.

Kura Sushi is very popular! Even on weekdays, the waiting area was full, with a 30-minute wait for a table. The restaurant has a lot of automation, from the ordering process with QR codes on your phone to the final check-out. It's amazing how technology is changing the dining experience. It seems like saving on labor costs is essential for restaurants nowadays. The sushi, priced at 110 yen per plate, is a result of the company's efforts. This time, I ordered: aged tuna, onion salmon, eel, enoki mushroom, grilled cheese pork kalbi, grilled cheese salmon, tekka maki, shrimp avocado, big leaf squid, and udon. The total for 15 plates and 1 udon was 1,810 yen. It was a satisfying meal. Thank you, I will visit again. They accept Rakuten points, PayPay, and card payments.

This is the second floor of "Kura Sushi" along the Izumi Kita Route 2. It's like a slightly upscale version of Kura Sushi, with all table seating. It's a bit more expensive but less crowded than the first floor. Recently, they have updated the order touch panel, and now you can also order by scanning a QR code with your smartphone. This eliminates any competition for the touch panel with your family. Payment is smooth as there is no need to count the number of plates. The checkout is self-service and you can also pay by card. If you dine in and place a takeout order, you will need a staff member to assist with the payment.

I left work and had a late lunch. It was past 3 pm, but there were quite a few customers. Luckily, there were plenty of seats available at the counter, so I was seated right away. However, the service was a bit slow, and even though I ordered using the touch screen, I had to wait for about 10 minutes. I guess they were short-staffed as it was after lunchtime and before dinner. The shrimp tempura hand roll that I ordered last was cold, usually it's served hot and fresh. I thought maybe they were frying it fresh due to the wait time, but it was disappointing.

『PL Fireworks』Diary updated. Please take a look~ヾ(❛ᴗ˂ *)Ⓟ On August 1st, 2019, it was the day of PL Fireworks♡ Every year on August 1st, my friends come over to watch fireworks together from my home. This year, we decided to get takeout sushi from a conveyor belt sushi restaurant because we didn't feel like cooking at home. If we tried to get takeout from a conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Sayama or Tomitabayashi, it would take a really long time on August 1st. It seems like everyone has the same idea (laughs). So, we went a bit further to the Kura Sushi Izumikita store♡ The items we got for takeout were: - Sushi @100 yen each x 30 pieces = 3,000 yen - Kura Burger @390 yen each x 2 (Beef & Cheese Fish) = 780 yen The Kura Burger was surprisingly delicious~♪ It's slightly smaller than a regular hamburger, but the taste is more than satisfying. We enjoyed watching the colorful fireworks from home while eating sushi. It was a delightful experience. Thank you for the delicious meal~ヾ(❛ᴗ˂ *)Ⓟ

Everyone loves Kura Sushi!! Besides the seafood, everything else is also super delicious! I was dining alone, so I sat at the counter seat, but unbelievably, the monitor in front of me was set to 'No Bikkura Pong' automatically, so I couldn't play... (T . T) It seems they have this kind of system now. Please be careful, everyone!

I went to Kura Sushi for lunch. It was quite crowded, probably because of spring break. I had the Kura Burger. I was expecting it to have more of a fish taste, but it was more like a regular hamburger. It had teriyaki sauce and mayonnaise. I also had hamachi, bintoro, salmon, flavored egg, and potato. The taste was consistent and satisfying as always. I sometimes go to the second floor of Kura Sushi, which is a no-additive sushi restaurant. The prices are a bit higher, but you can enjoy a leisurely meal there. The dessert options are different from the first floor. I look forward to going there because they have new menu items almost every month.

After a long time, I went to Kura Sushi. I really liked the shari-puchi, so I ordered a lot of sushi at Kura Sushi. I sat on the first floor this time. The machine seemed old because the shari-puchi didn't show up on the screen. I was wondering what to do, but when I called a staff member, they said they could help with that. I felt bad for having to call them every time to place an order, but they always responded without making a fuss! The beef kalbi, mikan buri, and toro fair aburi bincho were especially delicious! The mikan series was also as tasty as ever. However, some of the sushi was a bit thawed or cold (・´ェ`・;)ゞ Thank you for the meal!

I'm in Osaka. I've been to Kura Sushi in Saitama before, but this is my first time in Osaka. The parking lot is spacious. However, there is also a second floor, so maybe that's why it was a bit crowded. It was a weekday around 7 pm, and there weren't many empty seats. When I entered the restaurant, there were already three groups waiting ahead of me. Luckily, some people who arrived early were leaving, so I got seated in less than 10 minutes. The cleanup seemed a bit rushed and sloppy. When it comes to conveyor belt sushi, the must-have dish is the soupless tantan noodles. It had a lot of onions and was quite spicy, but the hot spring egg on the side helped balance it out. The sushi on this day was a bit off... it seems like there's someone in the kitchen who's not very good at arranging the toppings nicely. It's a shame because the quality of the ingredients is the same, so it's a waste to lose out on presentation. The speed and beauty of the sushi presentation could be improved. Keep it up! The taste of the sushi is worth the 100 yen price. I'm not a big fan of the mayo-based dishes here. My friend tells me not to compare the quality of the ingredients to Hokkaido. The noodles were delicious, so maybe next time I'll try the curry. It's supposed to be quite spicy and go well with the vinegared rice. The soupless tantan noodles were also spicy, so maybe Kura Sushi is known for its strong flavors.

Grandpa asked me to buy some delicious sushi, so I decided to get takeout this time. I bought 14 plates of sushi for 1,400 yen (excluding tax) and also got some fresh wasabi for 150 yen (excluding tax). The sushi included hamachi, squid, salmon, sea urchin, horse mackerel, salmon roe, and more. I also tried the original wasabi from Kura Sushi, made with real wasabi blended with Western horseradish. Kura Sushi recommends adding the wasabi right before eating to fully enjoy its flavor. The wasabi has a good texture and goes well not only with sushi but also with other dishes. I recently used it to make a wasabi soy sauce dressing for steak, and it was delicious.

I was hungry and decided to drop by Kura Sushi. I heard that the second floor was the place to be for additive-free sushi, but it was too late for that. I ordered a variety of items, won a prize in their game, and ended up paying just over a thousand yen before leaving the restaurant. Phew, what a relief.

The aged tuna at this restaurant is the most delicious compared to other places (conveyor belt sushi). The yellowtail and bonito were also delicious. However, it's hard to call it "nigiri sushi." It's just putting toppings on rice (^o^)

After a long time, we went to Kura Sushi with the family. It seems like they made a minor change by replacing the sushi rice with healthy black vinegar, as seen in the commercial. Our 3-year-old daughter, who loves conveyor belt sushi, tried the cucumber roll and said, "It's not tasty." I thought maybe she wasn't feeling well, but it turns out she found the vinegar a bit stronger than before. While adults might be okay with it, this minor change might not be good for sensitive young children. After letting her dip it in sweet sauce, she happily ate the sushi. I appreciate Kura Sushi's focus on using no additives, and their chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) remains consistently delicious with its flavorful broth. I also admire their efforts in expanding the side menu, but it would be great if they could increase the variety of sushi options as well. Overall, it was a satisfying meal!
