After leaving Chuka Ryori Ryutan, I had lunch alone today so I bought some souvenirs on my way back. If you buy 5 items, it will be 1,080 yen (including tax), but I didn't need that many. So, I bought two items: Black Pepper Mayo (248 yen including tax) and Cheese Mayo (248 yen including tax). They were delicious. Thank you for the meal.

After having a yakiniku lunch as a treat, my companion suggested stopping by a snack shop to buy some souvenirs. We found a shop selling various types of traditional rice crackers and senbei, with a deal of 5 bags for 1000 yen. My companion decided to buy 3 bags, and I chose 2 bags. Among the items we purchased were shrimp-shaped senbei, which were deliciously seasoned with just the right amount of salt, giving a fragrant shrimp flavor that surpassed any similar snacks I had tried before. Once I started eating them, I couldn't stop. We also bought sweet potato karinto, which had a light sweetness and a crispy texture that was so addictive. I will definitely make it a point to visit this shop whenever I pass by the area again.

During my walk, I happened to pass by a factory direct store called "Mikuriya Arare". This area is called Takaida, and Mikuriya is a more historic place a little further east. I peeked into the store, not knowing about this arare. The shop lady caught my eye and beckoned me in. Even though I'm on a diet and in the middle of my walk, I couldn't resist. The store had a variety of arare displayed on the wall. I like mayo and nori flavors, so I was debating which ones to get. The lady recommended their best-selling item, "ware okaki" (250g for 300 yen). The bag felt heavy, and when I tried it at home, I was surprised by how crispy it was! It was so fragrant and addictive. Later, I found out online that there are long queues during sales. I understand why - the price and the crispy fragrance make it hard to resist. I ended up eating a lot of it in one go! [Note] The store used to be in Mikuriya, but it has moved (according to the lady).

I went to a popular rice cracker shop recommended by the owner of a cafe I know. When I arrived, there were more than 10 cars parked outside, and the guard mentioned that parking was not allowed. There were also over 50 bicycles parked on the street and a line of about 100 people waiting outside the shop. Inside, the shop was packed with customers buying rice crackers. Each bag contained 6 packs of rice crackers and cost 1080 yen. Most people were buying around 24 packs each. The shop had multiple cash registers, but the line was still long. I ended up buying 12 packs of rice crackers and was amazed by the popularity of this shop.

The correct reading is "Mikuriya" ^^ It's difficult to pronounce place names, isn't it? There is a confectionery factory outlet in Takaida, a little away from Mikuriya in Higashi Osaka. There are many products available (I forgot to bring my camera, so I couldn't take any photos inside the store). All products are priced at 230 yen each (excluding tax). If you buy 5 bags, you get a discount and pay 1000 yen. My recommendation is the Black Pepper Mayo flavor. The mellow taste of mayonnaise and the spiciness of black pepper are delicious! It says it's a good accompaniment to beer, but it also goes well with highballs and shochu! It's perfect for enjoying with alcohol ^^ I bought 3 bags in total, but the staff recommended the larger size for better value (500 yen) if I was buying the same item. However, I deliberately chose the smaller bags because once I open it, it's so delicious that I can't stop eating it ^^; There are 3 seats available for eating in the store. It's a delicious treat that can also be a small souvenir ^^ Thank you for the meal ^^

I traveled from Sanda City, Hyogo Prefecture to buy Gokuraku Arare by taking a bus and a train. I purchased 9 bags of unusual "takoyaki mayonnaise" flavor and "top quality Senmai," as well as 5 small bags of "hineribou" for a little over 1,000 yen. The deliciousness of freshly made arare is like "freshness is the most important." It is similar to fresh food like sashimi. The surprise and excitement of how delicious freshly made arare is are truly amazing. This is my third time purchasing. Once you try it, you can't stop. You can't help but relax and smile when you eat it. Thank you, Gokuraku Arare.
