#Friday is curry day. Today's lunch is at the Sukiya Oikebashi branch. I was intrigued by the Demon Slayer poster and banner. I wonder what kind of menu they have. I ordered the "Furofuki Gyudon Demon Slayer Ichigomiruku set" for 930 yen. I didn't want the Ichigomiruku, but apparently there's a lottery where you can win something. The curry roux alone costs 390 yen, so the total came to 1320 yen. I asked for a third portion of rice and opted for the "Furofuki Daikon." The curry turned out to be surprisingly delicious. As expected from a major chain. However, I struggled with the touchscreen ordering system, so I eventually asked the handsome staff member to help me. There was no option to adjust the rice portion, and I found it odd that the beef bowl toppings were placed on top of a salad without rice. (^-^)。。

This is a review of a 24-hour beef bowl restaurant located along Imazato Street, near the Osaka City Bus Oikebashi Bus Stop. The reviewer mentions that they have been waking up early in the morning on their days off, and often ride their bike to have breakfast at this restaurant. The restaurant has about 30 seats, including counter and table seating. They offer breakfast sets such as the "Tamakake Breakfast" (rice, miso soup, egg, seaweed, and simmered hijiki seaweed) for 280 yen, as well as other options like the "Mixed Topping Set" (beef for 350 yen) and grilled fish breakfast (salmon or mackerel for 400 yen). The reviewer ordered the "Natto Tamakake Breakfast" (mini for 320 yen) using a tablet at their table. The meal was served promptly, with rice, miso soup, seasoned seaweed, simmered hijiki seaweed, and a pack of natto. They mixed the natto with sauce, mustard, and green onions, and then proceeded to enjoy their meal. The reviewer noted that the rice was not very hot, which affected the taste of the egg over rice. They also mentioned that they would like to try a breakfast with hot rice from other chain restaurants like Sukiya, Yoshinoya, or Matsuya. Overall, they appreciated the healthy breakfast options offered at this restaurant for a reasonable price.

I went to Sukiya for the first time in a while and found an interesting menu item called "Okonomi Gyudon". I decided to order it and topped it with bonito flakes, seaweed, and a raw egg. The sauce used was okonomi sauce. When I tried it, I found cabbage underneath the sauce, making it taste like okonomiyaki! The only thing missing was the texture of the batter. It went quite well with the rice. It felt like I was tapping into my Osaka roots. However, I got tired of it pretty quickly. To overcome this, I tried the sesame dressing for the salad, which also paired nicely. Overall, it was a decent topic for conversation. Also, the curry pork soup was delicious!

I went to a restaurant with a friend who can eat a lot, and he ate so much that I couldn't believe it. We went to McDonald's and Gyoza no Ohsho, but he wanted to try the King Gyudon at Sukiya, even though it's not on the menu. He ordered extra ice cream instead of eggs and easily finished the King Gyudon. It seems like finishing it is not uncommon, as I saw someone sitting next to me finishing it too. I personally couldn't finish it though.

I came to help a friend's food stall at the Tenjin Festival. For lunch, I only had cold noodles from a convenience store, thinking I would eat at another food stall later. I underestimated the situation. Even before 3 o'clock, visitors started coming in droves. We started selling corn, and by evening, there was a long line. The heat was intense, and blisters started forming on my fingers from using tongs. We sold out of 400 servings before 10 o'clock and closed the stall. After helping my friend close their tea shop, it was past 3:30 in the morning by the time I finished working for 16 hours straight. Exhausted, I stumbled into a beef bowl restaurant called Sukiya. I tried their Frisbee Bowl for the first time, which looked strange but tasted surprisingly good with wasabi soy sauce. The tuna sashimi bowl, served without much presentation, was also delicious. By the time I left the restaurant after drinking beer, the sky was starting to brighten. I took a shower and finally went to bed before 7 o'clock. I really pushed myself hard. The food was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Sukiya's beef bowl is delicious for several reasons. They focus on safety and quality ingredients. They use high-quality domestic rice, make flavorful homemade miso soup, offer popular side dishes like "oshinko" and salad, and serve delicious coffee that pairs well with their dishes. The beef bowl itself is a treasure trove of umami, with a perfect balance of lean meat and fat, carefully cut meat that absorbs the sauce well, and onions that enhance the flavor of the beef. The secret sauce is constantly evolving to match the changing preferences of customers. They also carefully calculate the best timing for serving the beef bowl to ensure the most delicious experience. Delicious!

Due to work, I was in Ikuno for almost a month. During that time, the place I visited the most was the Sukiya Oikebashi branch. I have always liked Sukiya, and I have been a customer at other branches as well. My go-to order is the grated radish and ponzu sauce beef bowl set. Free extra rice! I also get the beef bowl 1.5 times the normal size. That's my usual order! It can get pretty crowded during lunchtime, with a lot of takeout customers, making it a bit chaotic inside the small store. There is also no place to park your bicycle.

I rode my bike to Oikebashi. I bought dinner at the Sukiya restaurant near the intersection of Katsuyama Street and Imazato-suji. I ordered the Torisoboro Don, which is made with minced chicken seasoned with a mild sweet soy sauce dashi made from bonito and kelp. Mixing in a raw egg and soy milk adds richness to the dish. The chopped seaweed and green onions add a nice touch. It is a high-protein meal with 32.4g of protein and low in salt with 2g. It was a menu item that I would like to order again next time. I am also curious about the new Chicken Curry with lots of tender chicken. Thank you for the meal.

I usually don't eat the regular menu at Sukiya honestly. I never really felt like, "I want to eat this." But after a long time... or rather, for the first time, I found a HIT dish!! (laughs) If you like garlic, you'll definitely love this dish♪ Triple Garlic Beef Bowl MIX (1,010 yen) with "garlic sprouts," "deep-fried garlic," and "special garlic spice." I could tell it was going to be a HIT even before I started eating♪ It was delicious!! The beef bowl is now just a supporting character. The main characters are the three types of garlic MIX♪ It was a very satisfying bowl♪ Thank you for the meal.
