I visited on a weekday night. I confirmed my seat about 30 minutes before arriving. The dishes I ordered, including the ones in the photos, were all satisfying. The cost performance of the food is average, but the cost performance of the drinks is quite good. The atmosphere is somewhere between casual and stylish. It's a bit away from the crowded dining areas, so it might be suitable for a casual date. Maybe because it was a weekday after the COVID-19 situation, it took a little time from ordering to the food being served, but the atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and relaxing, so overall it's a good experience. There are two spacious tables, two narrow high tables, and counter seats, so if you have three or more people or want to relax, it's recommended to make a reservation in advance!

Friday 17:50 I decided to go when there were no other customers at Antibe, and took the chance to enter. "Welcome... are you here for a meal?" "Yes..." (Wait, what does that mean, is there something else?) I sat at the counter with a few question marks floating in my head. The owner and one female staff member seemed to be working. There were about four foreign beers available. Some dishes take time to prepare, so it's better to order early. Heartland 660 yen, Pate de Campagne 660 yen, Quattro Formaggi 1,650 yen. 17:55 The Heartland came in a tall glass. I remember having Heartland at Suzunari yesterday. The Pate de Campagne is reasonably priced. It comes with mustard and pickles. It's a good appetizer, served quickly and tastes delicious. A must-order for pate lovers. Pizzas take a while to be ready. 18:20 The Quattro Formaggi is done. It also comes with honey. It takes about 30 minutes to cook after ordering, so it's best to be patient. The pizza, cut into six pieces, is thin and easy to eat. It's delicious and goes well with alcohol. I noticed that many foreigners and couples often use this restaurant when passing by, so I'm glad to have come today and experienced it. No one really talks to you, so it's comfortable to be alone or with someone. I will visit again, thank you for the meal.

I had been curious about a Mediterranean restaurant located on the south side of the Takatsuji intersection in Miyuki-cho for a while, and I finally got the chance to visit. The restaurant had 4 counter seats and 4 table seats, and this time I went with 5 girlfriends. We ordered dishes such as lamb, lamb mince and mashed potato gratin, Ako oyster risotto, salad, mackerel carpaccio, pear and prosciutto, Ako oyster ajillo, squid ink risotto, quattro formaggi, pate de campagne, and chicken peperoncino. Everything was incredibly delicious! The lamb was tender and flavorful, and the mashed potatoes with Parmesan cheese were particularly tasty. My favorite was the squid ink risotto, which was so good that I couldn't stop eating. Even though I usually don't eat much when drinking, the food was so delicious that I couldn't help but indulge. We also had draft beer and a bottle of red wine, which paired perfectly with the food. The red wine was smooth and delicious. The only downside was that they didn't have sweet potato shochu, which is a personal preference. They do have barley shochu, but I'm not a fan of it. Overall, the dining experience was fantastic, and I have already made a reservation to visit again this week with my husband. It was a big hit and I highly recommend this restaurant!

I went to a Mediterranean restaurant on Takatsuji Street after work today. Antibes offers Mediterranean cuisine from Italy, Spain, France, and other countries in Southern Europe. The name "Antibes" is a place in Provence, Southern France. The counter seats were lined with wine bottles. I started with a beer, and they had Heartland draft beer. The foam was very creamy, indicating they pay attention to how it's poured. While waiting for my garlic shrimp, I ordered a light snack. When I asked for something Instagram-worthy, the staff recommended their anchovy egg potato salad. The potato salad was generously portioned and beautifully presented. The fluffy potatoes had crispy pumpkin (?) chips mixed in, giving it an interesting texture. I also enjoyed the taste of anchovies. After a short wait, the garlic shrimp arrived, served with bread. The olive oil was simmering with big, juicy oysters. I dipped the bread in the oil to savor the oyster essence. The oysters from Akō were sweet and flavorful, and the seaweed-like nori added a nice touch. The restaurant was quite busy on a Friday evening, so I left early, but it had a great atmosphere. It's a stylish place suitable for dates or special occasions. I look forward to going back and enjoying a leisurely meal next time.

One of the restaurants I often visit, "Antibes", for dinner. Located on the south side of the Takatsuji Miyukimachi intersection on the first floor. The restaurant has a counter seat and four table seats, and I feel comfortable using it for various occasions. Tonight, I had the following dishes:
- Tripe in Tuscan-style tomato stew
- Spear squid in squid ink stew
- Oil sardines in peperoncino
- Ako oysters risotto
- Leavenbroi beer
- White wine: Vasco da Gama VV Branco DOC 2017/República Portuguesa
The tripe had no odor and the taste of tomatoes stood out, very delicious. I enjoyed tonight with a slightly sparkling wine. The cost performance is good, and it's a nice restaurant where you can easily go. They accept "PAY PAY", so you can get a little discount when you pay with PayPay (laughs). Thank you for the delicious meal tonight. Photo: XS

I sat at a high table by the window, and the atmosphere was nice with few cars passing by at night. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable.

Appetizer assortment, Pizza Quattro Mariaj, Clam and Mushroom Risotto paired with sparkling wine and Belgian beer. The flavors were not too heavy or too light, allowing for a sophisticated taste that paired well with the alcohol. The cozy atmosphere of the small restaurant was also lovely.

It had been a while since I visited "Antibes" on Takatsuji Street in Miyukicho. I arrived a bit late, so I was able to enter just as the place was clearing out. I started with a beer, and I must say the fact that they serve German "Lebenbroy" beer here is great! Today, I had the following dishes:
- Homemade oil sardines ¥300
- Tuscan-style tripe stewed in tomatoes ¥1,100
- Quattro formaggi pizza ¥1,500
- Thick-cut bacon steak with fried egg, mashed potatoes, and homemade sausage
- Draft beer "Lebenbroy" ¥500
- White wine: Casal Garcia Vinho Verde Branco/Vinho Verde DOC
- White wine by the glass (forgot the brand)
I wanted to try both the thick-cut bacon and homemade sausage, so I asked the chef and he kindly put them together on one plate for me. The atmosphere is natural and cozy, making it easy to linger. The tripe and homemade sausage here are really delicious. Another enjoyable and tasty experience today!

When passing by Antibe's store, I noticed that the storefront had changed. So, I decided to go in immediately. Wow, the place has been beautifully renovated! It has a modern and stylish bar feel. It was around 10 pm, but they were still open for business. I sat at the white wooden counter and ordered some prosciutto, potato salad (I think that's what it was called), and a glass of red wine from the menu board. The owner and the staff were friendly and welcoming, making the atmosphere very pleasant. The prosciutto and potato salad were delicious! The light red wine also paired well with them. I'll definitely come back to try other dishes next time! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

This is my favorite restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food and drinks within walking distance from home! Since the number of seats is limited, I recommend making a reservation by phone in advance. There are many types of drinks available, and they are willing to make drinks that are not on the menu, showing their kindness. The dishes are all worth trying, and the portions are not too large, with reasonable prices, making it perfect for enjoying with two people! Although it has a glass exterior, it is somewhat inconspicuous in terms of location, which is why I was surprised by the low number of reviews. I will continue to visit this place in the future! ♫

It's been a while since I revisited this place. I ordered a bottle of white wine, this time from Spain. The restaurant has a counter with about 8-10 seats stretching towards the back once you open the entrance door. There are also a couple of 4-seater tables and two 2-seater tables behind the counter seats. The glass windows on the right side from the entrance offer a nice view of the street outside. They were showing a soccer game on a flat-screen TV. We started with the appetizer platter (serves 2 for 1300 yen) which included prosciutto, salami, anchovy potato salad, pate, olives, pickles, and mackerel. Each item was well-presented and appetizing. The anchovy and potato salad were a perfect combination, and the pickles had just the right amount of vinegar. The mackerel was especially delicious. Just this appetizer platter alone made the wine go down easily. The customers ranged from foreign tourists to families with young children. There were regulars, solo diners, and couples as well. Next, we had the cod and potato gratin (800 yen), which I remembered being incredibly delicious from my previous visit. However, as humans tend to get used to things, the memory tends to embellish over time, and the initial surprise factor may diminish upon revisiting. But it was still undeniably tasty. Since I fell in love with the cod gratin here, I decided to add the cream risotto made with fresh Akou oysters (1500 yen). It couldn't be anything less than delicious following the gratin. We finished off with a glass of Amontillado sherry as we felt like we needed a little more to drink. The sherry poured into the glass was a brownish liquid. I wasn't a big fan of the sherry flavor from previous experiences with Fino (the clear type), but this one was fairly easy to drink. In total, we spent 6600 yen for the two of us. The bottle of wine starts at 2500 yen, making it reasonably priced. The food was overall delicious and offered good value for money. It's rare to find a place that welcomes families with young children, and they also have an English menu for foreign visitors, making it convenient to bring friends from overseas. It's a user-friendly restaurant. I'm sure I'll remember it when I visit Kyoto in winter.

Antive! Theme: Drinking Log Kyoto Kyoto, Antive, a stylish and quiet shop on Takatsuji Street. Not only do they have a wide variety of wines, but also several types of beer including Rebenbroy on tap. Pasta, pizza, meat dishes, and fish dishes are all around 1000 yen, which is quite reasonable! The master apparently comes from a shop called Ternura. It's wonderful how they are able to keep an eye on the customers in this small shop! The potato salad with prosciutto and anchovies is delicious! The recommended dish here is the risotto. The photo is of the porcini risotto. Since I was dining alone, I ordered a half size. It's great to have this kind of flexibility. They also have liver pate and aioli, so I want to come back with an empty stomach next time.

Favorite Antibe-san. Everything I eat is delicious and I love it, but this time it's a little different... The marinated horse mackerel I ordered as an appetizer smells a bit off... Huh? Wait? It's always fresh and delicious marinated horse mackerel, but this time it seems like it's old? What's going on? The service staff also seems a bit off. They don't smile, in fact, they come to serve with a serious face. They speak bluntly. When I asked the person who took my order about the main dish that hasn't arrived, they replied with a straight face, "No, I didn't take the order." Huh?! You didn't take the order?! We all looked at each other. That's when you should apologize or say, "I forgot!" or admit your mistake! It made me feel really uncomfortable. If I could rate based on the service alone, I would give the lowest score, but because I originally loved Antibe-san, I'll give it a 3.0. But I might hesitate to go there in the future. It's a shame. I really loved Antibe-san.---------------------------------------------Tonight, I was able to leisurely enjoy Antibe-san. I was too busy with my kids when I went there before, so I couldn't really savor it. I regret it... Today, I had a green salad, chicken liver pate, salmon tomato cream pasta, and oyster gratin. Everything I ate was delicious!! Even the dressing on the salad was delicious! That's my honest opinion. I wanted to try more dishes, but I was already full. If I had one wish, it would be for the glass of draft beer to be a little bigger. (laughs)
