Revisiting my lazy self. My son requested it for his day off from school. Of course, I also ate it.
- Charcoal-grilled chicken with special sauce and mayo rice bowl, regular size ¥520 (excluding tax) ← A lot of mayonnaise, more like a service than the sample photo, haha. Surprisingly good chicken flavor, and it had a good amount of volume. Personally, I liked it more than the beef bowl. It's a shame they don't have a "medium size" like the beef bowl.
- Melty 3-cheese beef bowl, medium size ¥520. My son put Tabasco sauce on it poorly, pouring it all in one spot. He ended up coughing while eating it. But he said it was delicious, haha. Stupid people don't learn even if they cough, right?
While waiting for the bill and the order to be ready, a customer at the eat-in area ordered, "Beer!" I couldn't help but feel envious. Although it's not like I feel inferior for not having beer at Sukiya. Still, honestly, I can't help but feel envious...
2014.7 Unagi beef bento ☆♪ My son's request for his day off from school. The overprotective mother hurriedly went to buy it. It's more expensive than the bento I buy for my husband. As expected, in terms of the amount of poured love, my son > husband, haha. I bought...
- Unagi beef bento, large size ¥860 (excluding tax)
- Unagi beef bento, regular size ¥830
The meat was quite firm, shiny, and looked good, with a Kansai-style taste, which was good. It was much more delicious than the one I had at Yoshinoya last year. Maybe even better than the one at Kazokutei. The size of the eel is a bit small considering the price. For that reason, I wish they would put a bit more sauce on it. If they offered to add more sauce for around ¥30, that would be nice. If you want two pieces of eel, it's over ¥1000. I hesitated because going over ¥1000 per person at Sukiya is a bit much. I couldn't fulfill my ambition of eating a two-piece eel unaju. What a shame, I'll have to try again next time.
2013.4 Crayon Shin-chan's "Yakisoba Beef Bowl" ♪♪ A beef bowl restaurant near my house. Very convenient for lunch on holidays (lazy). Especially the "Gyudon" is great when you have cooked rice at home. Just heat it up quickly in the microwave and it becomes a tamago-kake gohan (rice with raw egg), haha. This time, I tried eating in... or so I thought, but when I went around 11 AM, it was already crowded. There were only men, and the ordering system was confusing. I gave up. I have the image that beef bowl restaurants are where men go, and it's not uncommon for women of my generation who haven't been there, including me. So, I wanted to brag, "I had a beef bowl at Sukiya," but I'm a coward, haha. So, since I went there, I tried the "Yakisoba Beef Bowl" (regular) for ¥390 to take out for lunch that day. The ratio of meat to yakisoba was about 1 to 2, with the meat losing out. I poured all the sauce, and it was just right. I didn't use the seaweed because it was risky. The yakisoba was cut short, so it was not difficult to eat with the rice. But I end up eating more yakisoba than rice, so I ended up with leftover rice. Good thing I had kimchi in the fridge. In conclusion, it was somewhat delicious, but I still prefer the regular beef bowl. My son also said he preferred the regular beef bowl over the "Mayo Takana Beef Bowl" he had before. Next time, I'll invite a neighbor (in her late 40s, never experienced a beef bowl restaurant) for a retry. Can I do it?
