First stop, "Shindaichi-san". The highlight here is the 50 yen traditional skewers and 90 yen for the red skewers! The chicken skin skewers here are not rolled tightly but are generously skewered and fried. Both the red and regular skewers are delicious, but I personally found the regular skewers to be even tastier. And the drinks are a great deal too, with draft beer (Sapporo Black) for 190 yen and highballs for 150 yen! Even with an appetizer for 300 yen, the total bill for two people came out to just over 1600 yen. Thank you for the meal!

Today, I stayed near Hakata Station and decided to explore the bustling restaurants nearby for dinner. I found a place called "Densuke" which specializes in crispy chicken skin skewers marinated in sauce. They offer skewers in sets of 10, 20, or 30, which are served in pyramid formations based on the quantity ordered. They also have pyramid challenges like the Medium Pyramid, Large Pyramid, and New Era Pyramid. My friends and I started with a Medium Pyramid of 10 skewers, which were surprisingly delicious, so we ordered another 10 skewers. The skewers paired well with beer and highballs, and we ended up enjoying our drinks a bit too much. Overall, the other menu items like charcoal-grilled dishes were also quite tasty. Thank you for the meal!

Before the year-end party near Hakata Station, we decided to have a post-party at Denkushi for the first time. We ordered a pyramid of 21 chicken skin skewers that we had been curious about, along with some potato salad. The chicken skin skewers and draft beer were served promptly. The mountain of chicken skin skewers looked impressive and was perfect for social media photos. The fried chicken skin was crispy and delicious, especially for the price of 50 yen per skewer. It reminded us of the famous Tebasaki chicken wings from Sekai no Yamachan. The magic powder sprinkled on the skewers was irresistible. The potato salad was also tasty, and we enjoyed mixing it together. We wanted to try more dishes, but we ended up having just one draft beer and one highball. Thank you for the meal.

First time at this restaurant. It's my second stop today. Since I was drinking around Hakata Station, I decided to check out this place I've been curious about. The inside of the restaurant is lively. We sat at a table right after entering. Well, everything is cheap here lol. We ordered beer, fried potatoes, a troublesome potato salad, and an abundance of potatoes lol. My partner was already full and the food was coming out, so we left without trying the grilled skewers lol. The atmosphere is great and I want to try other menu items, so maybe next time I'll come here first. Thank you for the meal!

To celebrate the release of Top Gun, the manager seems to respect Ice Man from the first movie, and is quite smitten with the beautiful female staff. There is also a cool and standout staff member who seems to have been made more beautiful by Imada Mio. The skewers were average, but the chicken thigh and garlic were delicious. The cheesy slogan is a negative point. Remember, never anger the Ice Man manager. The rule is to drink draft beer, eat chicken thigh, garlic, potato salad, and potato fries, and order from Imada Mio. That's all.

I went to Shinjidai in Hakata, Fukuoka. It's a cost-effective izakaya where two people can eat for less than 2,000 yen. The chicken skin skewers were delicious, crispy, and sweet. They were fried once and had a satisfying crunch. In Hakata, chicken skin skewers are often rolled up, but I think this style is also good. I had a few drinks and then went to bed.

Originating from Aichi Prefecture, the "New Era" has arrived in Hakata. Chicken skin skewers for 50 yen each? Intrigued by this, I decided to stop by after work.
★Here is what I ordered:
- Denkushi (chicken skin skewers) 50 yen each (55 yen tax included) x 10
- Doruyaki (grilled chicken) 480 yen (526 yen tax included)
- Salted cabbage with sauce 250 yen (275 yen tax included)
- Taiwanese tofu 350 yen (385 yen tax included)
- Draft beer 190 yen (209 yen tax included) x 3
- Highball 150 yen (165 yen tax included)
*Table charge 300 yen (330 yen tax included)
The draft beer priced at 190 yen (209 yen tax included) was a steal compared to convenience stores. As I enjoyed the appetizer, the Denkushi skewers arrived. They had a different style compared to the usual chicken skin skewers, with a sweet and salty taste resembling gummy candy. I found them tasty for the first 1-2 skewers, but the intense flavor made it tiring to chew, so I gave up after 3-4 skewers.
It is recommended to sprinkle the spices provided on the table on the skewers, which I tried for the second skewer. I wondered how it could be salt-free. The Doruyaki, grilled over charcoal, was my favorite, despite being chewy. Overall, the dishes had a strong flavor, perhaps due to their Aichi origins. I wished there was less sauce to enjoy the natural flavors of the ingredients.
The highball was disappointingly weak, tasting more like carbonated water. Nevertheless, with the option for Denkushi skewers and draft beer, it's a good place for a quick drink after work. As long as you choose wisely, it offers great value for money.

This place is like a real-life example of deflation, with draft beer for 190 yen and highballs for 150 yen. Their specialty is chicken skin skewers (50 yen each) that taste just like the famous Yamachan chicken wings seasoning. They are fried, so you can't eat too many, but they make a perfect snack with beer. It's a great place for a casual and quick drink with friends.

It seems that this restaurant has exploded in popularity in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, and has now made its way to Fukuoka. The specialty seems to be fried chicken skin skewers, which originated and became famous in the original location. I was intrigued, so I decided to visit in the evening. First of all, the drinks are incredibly cheap. Draft beer for 190 yen, highball for 150 yen. I hesitated but ended up ordering the 1L Mega Highball for 450 yen. It feels a bit watered down, but it's cheap so it's okay. You can do weight training with the heavy glass (it's really heavy). And then, the specialty "Denkushi" skewers. Ordering them in a pyramid shape makes for great presentation, but I didn't order too many, just 4 pieces. Each skewer costs 50 yen. It's incredibly cheap, although they are small, the taste of the sauce is well-infused and crispy. Other menu items I ordered: Den garlic skewer, Chicken umami tare yukke, Doruyaki, Mountain jellyfish, Chicken dashi oden, Brazilian sausage. I discovered mountain jellyfish as a complimentary dish at another yakitori restaurant and loved it, but this one had mayonnaise on it... The coldness of the oden also caught my attention. Is it cold oden? The staff were very lively and it was a pleasant atmosphere. The new staff members were eager and the female staff members were cute. If you're looking to have a fun and affordable night out near Hakata, this place might be worth a visit. Thank you for the meal.

I heard that the highly popular "New Era" with the best cost performance in the country has opened, so I visited it right away. The number one Paris mochi chicken skin skewer "Densuke" is only 50 yen. It is so delicious that you can eat as many as you want. The Densuke pyramid is truly impressive! And the draft beer for 190 yen is the best. Although it's not listed outside, the highball is also 150 yen, which is great. I'm happy that a wallet-friendly and delicious izakaya has opened nearby. The service is friendly and good too!! Once the pandemic is over, it's sure to be crowded with office workers and young people. I enjoyed the food very much.

The magical powder sprinkled on the chicken skin is delicious. I finally got to enter the restaurant on my third try, maybe because I was dining alone.

This place offers the best beer for 190 yen and highballs for 150 yen. You can eat to your heart's content and still spend less than 3000 yen.

It's really cheap! It's a lively place! The first place might be good for a casual night out. When it was past 8:00, they had already sold out of raw liver sashimi. I think it's a restaurant targeted towards students, but I'm drawn in by the super cheap price of 190 yen for a draft beer and end up going there occasionally.

The chicken skin was priced at an amazing 50 yen per piece, and even with ordering 36 pieces, the total was around 2000 yen. The flavor was delicious with a special blend of spices. The drink, including draft beer, was also very cheap at 190 yen.

The famous Dengu skewers may be a bit divisive as they have a sweet flavor, which I personally don't prefer. However, at only 50 yen per skewer, they are fantastic! The other skewers have limited options but are well-seasoned with salt and have a good portion size. Overall, the cost performance is excellent. I definitely want to come back for more.
