The other day, MyRebi-san wrote a review about a restaurant in Hyogo Prefecture that caught my attention. It's a chain restaurant known for its fried chicken, and apparently they offer all-you-can-eat delicious salted squid as well (゚ω゚) To be honest, I had heard about a restaurant in Kayashima that offers CKD, so I excitedly made my way there, only to find a sign saying, "Closed for a while due to the owner's poor health" ( ゚д゚) Oh no! I was so close to having a delicious Chinese-style pork cutlet bowl, but I ended up one step away from being a lunch refugee (*_*) At that moment, I remembered this restaurant... "Come to think of it, Karama is under construction and it said it will be opening soon..." Despite being a chain restaurant, it's a new store that I've never been to. It's not a familiar place in Kansai, and it's a restaurant I've been wanting to visit (located in Himeji City), so I decided to head there. Upon entering the restaurant and looking at the menu, it seems they have a limited-time seven-spice fried chicken... I ordered the mixed set meal because I also wanted to try the regular fried chicken. The seven-spice fried chicken is made with chicken tenderloin and is covered in an excessive amount of seven-spice seasoning... Actually, it's too much seven-spice seasoning (laughs) Even the salad is covered in seven-spice seasoning (゚ω゚) I like seven-spice seasoning, so it's not a problem for me, but if someone who doesn't like spicy food orders it lightly, they might be in for a surprise (^◇^;) The regular fried chicken, which MyRebi-san had been jokingly criticizing as being too crispy, was indeed crispy, but not difficult to eat. It had a nice level of crispiness and was delicious to eat (laughs) While the fried chicken itself didn't have any particular features besides being crispy, when dipped in garlic sauce, it transformed into a dangerously delicious dish that steals your rice. As for the salted squid that I had heard about, it was truly delicious. And most importantly, the miso soup with grated yam was also very tasty (´ー`)
