Today, I was craving noodles so I went to Shin-Osaka Yakisoba Center that I had checked out before. For lunch, I ordered the large portion with a fried egg and green onions on top. The sauce was good at first bite, but as I kept eating, I started to get a bit tired of it. Thanks to the green onions on top, I managed to finish it all. I still think that the yakisoba at Osho is the best.

Today's gathering turned into a bar-hopping night. It was on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at the Nissei Shin-Osaka Building for a social gathering. We visited this place on the second floor of the same building. There was a drink all-you-can-drink course available, so we were able to enjoy the social gathering. Thank you for the meal.

It was my first business trip to Osaka in a while, and I couldn't find a lunch spot, so I decided to try this place, Yakisoba Center! What a captivating name! I noticed the "Sujikon Yakisoba" on the lunch menu and topped it with a fried egg. The sweet and savory sujikon was irresistible! This dangerous dish sizzling on the hot iron plate was so good! Yum! Thank you for the meal!

For lunch, I went to the Yakisoba Center in Shin-Osaka. It was during Golden Week, so there weren't many customers, mostly business people. This time, I ordered the beef hormone yakisoba with rice (served with miso soup and pickles). The yakisoba is steamed after taking the order. It was very hot. The thick and chewy noodles had a great texture. The main ingredient, beef hormone, was plentiful and added richness to the flavor. The yakisoba served as a great side dish for the rice. The hormone enhanced the side dish feel. The rice went well with it. Thank you for the meal.

I was staying at a temporary hotel in Shin-Osaka and wondering what to eat alone over the weekend. I decided to visit the yakisoba center on the 2nd floor of Nissei Building in Shin-Osaka for the first time. I arrived just before 5 pm and found out that they had a happy hour deal with highballs for only 145 yen, which was amazing. I ended up ordering yakisoba, okonomiyaki, tonpeiyaki, gyoza, and corn butter. Everything was delicious and such a great value. I may have had too many highballs though!

I went to lunch with my colleagues at the company for the first time. Since there were few customers that day, they also allowed us to order items other than lunch menu. It was a nice service. I ordered the fried noodles with omelette. The noodles were medium thickness, which I like. The fried noodles were delicious. I would like to visit again at night next time. Thank you for the meal.

I had lunch at this place located inside the Nissei New Osaka Building, directly connected to Shin-Osaka Station. The restaurant only has table seating and their main menu item is yakisoba. I ordered the Center Yakisoba with sauce, and added a mini salad as a set. Let's dig in! The yakisoba was served on a hot iron plate, with an egg yolk in the center. The noodles were slightly thick and chewy, with a well-balanced seasoning that wasn't too strong. The mini salad, despite being priced at 100 yen, had a good variety of ingredients. Overall, it was a satisfying meal with yakisoba that would appeal to a wide range of people.

I love yakisoba. It's probably in the top 20 for me (laughs). Last time I was at Shin-Osaka Station, I passed by and thought, next time I must have yakisoba! So, this time I came here. The noodles at the yakisoba shop in Kitasenju were delicious, so I had high expectations for a yakisoba specialty shop. I came in after lunchtime, around 1:00 pm on a weekday, and the place had a nice atmosphere with few customers. I ordered using the pad on the table. I'm the type who doesn't need a rice set, so I just wanted the yakisoba. Since I couldn't order it as is, I added kimchi as a topping to place my order. It was okay. The yakisoba was decent with nothing particularly special about the sauce or noodles. Oh, the noodles at the yakisoba shop in Kitasenju were delicious. The total came to 869 yen. Thank you for the meal.

Ordered item... Pork yakisoba set meal for 858 yen. Comes with rice and miso soup.
Ordered item... A yakisoba specialty shop. While there are many okonomiyaki and takoyaki shops, this one focuses on yakisoba. I was once told I had to wait for 30 minutes depending on the time, but this time I entered for the first time. They serve yakisoba with a thick sauce and thick noodles, so having rice with the set meal creates a nice balance. It's a shop where they cook the yakisoba with a strong sauce on a hot plate.

I arrived at Shin-Osaka Station by Shinkansen and felt hungry, so I stopped by for lunch near the station. There was a hearty food sample outside the restaurant that you don't see much these days, so I couldn't resist going in. I ordered the yakisoba lunch, which came with rice, miso soup, and the main dish of yakisoba. The yakisoba had thick noodles and a teppanyaki-style flavor, giving a taste of Osaka. Thank you for the meal.

This is the New Osaka Yakisoba Center, a chain restaurant. I had been here before, but this is my first time leaving a review. First, I had beer with edamame, pickled cucumbers, and one-bite gyoza. They all went well with the beer! Next, I tried Sharikin lemon sour and frozen sour. I also had pork skewers, grilled sazae (turban shell), chicken tail with ponzu sauce, tonpei (pork omelette), and leek with egg. All of them were reasonably priced and perfect for drinking. It's a bit disappointing that they only have one type of sake. I finished off with some hot sake to warm up. It was a reasonably priced restaurant.

Today's lunch was a bit of a yakisoba mood near Shin-Osaka Station. When I searched on Tabelog at Shin-Osaka Station, I found this restaurant in the Nissei Shin-Osaka Building 2F, which is directly connected from the north exit that I don't usually go to. When I entered the building from the station passage, I couldn't find the restaurant at first, but looking at the map, I found it a little further inside. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted with "Welcome. Please choose your seat." I sat down and ordered using the tablet on the table. The pork yakisoba set meal was 780 yen (excluding tax), and I also ordered a raw egg for 70 yen (excluding tax). The homemade medium-thick and chewy noodles had a good texture, but the sauce was a bit mild, so when I mixed it with the raw egg, it enhanced the richness and flavor. I also added homemade chili oil halfway through, which added spiciness and garlic flavor, making it delicious. Thank you for the meal.

A teppanyaki izakaya that opened in 2019 located on the second floor of the Nissei Shin-Osaka Building, just a short walk west from the north exit of Shin-Osaka Station on the Midosuji Line. The entrance is marked by a red curtain and a large menu advertising lunch specials. They also sell bento boxes outside. Inside, there are table seats typical of an izakaya. The lunch menu includes yakisoba and various set meals, such as the "pork yakisoba" with a salad. The yakisoba is surprisingly tasty with meat and a flavorful sauce on chewy noodles. It's a quick and satisfying lunch option.

Lunch at the New Osaka Yakisoba Center. It has been about a year since my last visit when it had just opened. Back then, they only had yakisoba on the menu, but now they have a variety of set meals as well. I decided to try the sobameshi set meal. It came with sobameshi topped with a fried egg on an aluminum plate, along with a side of fried chicken, potato salad, miso soup, and pickles. The fried chicken was a bit cheap tasting, but still delicious. The main sobameshi had a nice sweetness and flavor from the sauce, but I felt like the portion of soba was a bit small. The texture was a bit mushy, which was a bit disappointing. The fried egg was cooked perfectly and was a great topping. I hope to visit the yakisoba center again for dinner sometime in the future. Thank you for the meal.

It's been a year since I last visited, and I noticed that the menu has expanded significantly with the addition of steak, hormone-based dishes, and beef tendon dishes. It's nice to see this variety alongside their signature yakisoba dishes. I wonder if they borrowed these items from their dinner menu. The beef tendon bowl priced at 650 yen (as of December 2020) contains beef tendon and konjac in a broth-like sauce. The portion of rice is quite generous, and the sweetness and gelatinous texture make it very appetizing. The raw egg on top adds richness and enhances the flavor.

I stopped by for dinner on my way back from a business trip.
Today's order:
Beer - 490 yen
Tonpeiyaki (pork and cabbage pancake) - 380 yen
Pork yakisoba (fried noodles) - 680 yen
*All prices are excluding tax.
First, I toasted with a cold beer. It went perfectly with the tonpeiyaki.
The pork yakisoba was delicious. The noodles were chewy and the sauce coated them well.
Some people may prefer steamed noodles, but I found it tasty.
There are also many appetizers available, so it might be a good place to go with friends. But for now, I'll have to resist.
Thank you for the meal.

Today, I had Imazato Yakisoba for lunch and came to Shin-Osaka at night to eat yakisoba again. I visited the "Shin-Osaka Yakisoba Center". The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of a building, with 6 counter seats and about 10 table seats. I ordered a lemon chu-hi and water eggplant. They arrived quickly. The water eggplant was juicy and went well with the alcohol. In the meantime, I waited for a bite-sized gyoza and yakisoba. The bite-sized gyoza was juicy with the flavor of black pork, and it also went well with alcohol. The outside was crispy and the inside was fluffy. It was a delicious gyoza. The main yakisoba had a well-infused sauce, and I mixed it well before eating. It reminded me of the nostalgic taste of yakisoba I had in the past. It was a new genre for me to have yakisoba with a drink. It was delicious.

I thought it was not the best time to visit, but I had to have a meeting with family members in Osaka during my business trip. I didn't want to inconvenience anyone by holding the meeting in a hotel room, and cafes were closed. So, I decided to quickly have a meeting, chat, eat, and drink at "Shin-Osaka Yakisoba Center". I apologize for the rushed visit, I will come back and take my time next time. The avocado with salted kelp, grated yam on a hot plate, takoyaki, yakisoba, etc... everything was delicious! The avocado with salted kelp was a unique and addictive snack, while the grated yam on a hot plate had a fluffy and creamy texture. The takoyaki was interesting too, served on a stick! It was a unique way to enjoy takoyaki. I couldn't help but want to try more varieties because everything was so good. The yakisoba was made with special noodles and sauce, giving it a chewy texture and delicious flavor. I wanted to order more dishes, but I kept it simple this time. I look forward to coming back and trying out more types of dishes when things settle down.

At the end of last year, I discovered and immediately tried the yakisoba from the Yakisoba Center. The taste from that time came to mind, so I decided to visit again. Last time, I went during a quiet time just before closing, but this time it was after 8 pm and the place was packed with customers having a great time. I was worried if we would be able to get a seat, but luckily we were able to sit at the counter. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was lively and bustling. Everyone seemed to appreciate the deliciousness of this place, where you can enjoy B-class gourmet dishes at reasonable prices. We started with ordering beers, and then some side dishes while waiting for the yakisoba. First, we had the avocado with salted kelp. The combination of the sweet avocado and salty kelp was great. We also ordered the onion slices, which were simple and refreshing. We enjoyed these with our beers while waiting for the main dish. After the beers, we had some sours. I ordered a regular lemon sour to keep things light and refreshing before the rich yakisoba. And finally, the star of the show arrived - the yakisoba. The yakisoba at Yakisoba Center is made with special attention to detail. They use original egg noodles, offer a choice of 5 original sauces, provide homemade chili oil, and even have a special lemon sour drink. The yakisoba is cooked to order, which makes a difference in taste and texture. This time, we ordered the Hormone Yakisoba with special sauce and a fried egg on top. It looked delicious and tasted even better. The combination of the rich sauce, hormone meat, and chewy noodles was perfect. We topped it with plenty of pickled ginger and savored every bite. We washed it down with the sour, creating a perfect balance of flavors. Although our visit was short, we truly enjoyed the yakisoba. I felt like I truly understood the deliciousness of the yakisoba here during this second visit. If you want to eat delicious yakisoba, make sure to visit Yakisoba Center in Shin-Osaka! Thank you for the meal. Looking forward to the next visit.
