It's been a long time since I last visited Yoshinoya. I was surprised to find out that their beef bowl has become a luxury item during the years I didn't go. The special large size costs 800 yen. Fast, delicious, and cheap are things of the past. However, the taste of the beef bowl after a long time was just as comforting as before.

I visited a hospital lunch spot. It is located on the first floor of the Viera building connected to JR Kishibe Station, next to the municipal hospital. The interior was clean and had a sense of cleanliness. I ordered the extra large Gyudon with extra broth. The Gyudon extra large with extra broth costs 635 yen. It had been a while since I last visited Yoshinoya. As expected, Yoshinoya's Gyudon is delicious. I added pickled ginger halfway through to eat it refreshingly. I became full. I paid with PayPay. Got 10% off with a coupon. Plus 10% for consumption tax. I felt like I saved money but also spent money. PayPay said "atarī" and I got 3 points.

There was no fast food restaurant around Kishibe Station, especially on the north side, so I find this restaurant very convenient. It is located in a place known as a healthy city called "Kento," and they even offer a rice bowl dish similar to porridge called gyudon. The photo is of a cheese gyudon.

I ordered the Stamina Super Special Donburi as the Super Special Donburi Festival is currently taking place. The combination of beef, pork, chicken, raw egg, and garlic-infused sauce is very appetizing. The beef, especially, goes really well with the sauce and tastes delicious with a nice sear. The pork is average, while the chicken didn't really absorb much of the sauce, which was disappointing. Since the sauce is rich, the raw egg is necessary, and some might find the rice portion to be insufficient. During the festival, I recommend trying the Beef Kalbi Donburi stir-fried with the rich sauce. However, for some reason, the 10% discount as advertised on the menu was not applied. Oh well...thank you for the meal.

Starting from 11:00 on April 30th, a dish called "Stamina Super Special Donburi" will be available at all stores nationwide. The price is 798 yen excluding tax. The dish consists of beef kalbi, pork, and chicken cooked with a special garlic sauce, served on a bed of extra large rice, topped with fried garlic and green onions. It is a high-calorie dish with over 1700kcal, perfect for those looking for a hearty meal.

I often eat curry at the same gyudon chain Matsuya, but I decided to try Yoshinoya's curry for a change. I ordered the chicken curry. I forgot the price, so I can't make a direct comparison, but it doesn't come close to Matsuya's Gorochiki curry. It's like they just added chicken to retort curry sauce. I won't be going back for this one.

Near JR Kishibe Station, there is a Yoshinoya restaurant on the first floor of Vieira. It was my first time entering the store. They offer takeout. I had a regular beef bowl, which cost 380 yen. Among beef bowl chains, this is the most delicious. Next time, I might try the curry... Thank you for the meal.

Today's breakfast was at Yoshinoya Vieira Kishibe Kento Store. It was my first visit. The bright store has glass windows!! There are 6 counter seats and 20 table seats (10 tables for 2 people, with 6 tables having 4 seats together). I had the breakfast Shirasu Oroshi for 390 yen (tax included). It includes rice, shirasu (small fish), grated daikon radish, and a raw egg (whole). I mixed the raw egg with a little soy sauce and poured it over the rice to make Tamago Kake Gohan. Then I topped it with mixed shirasu seasoned with soy sauce and shichimi (seven spice). It was quite delicious!! I also enjoyed the daikon radish with soy sauce and shichimi. It was a tasty breakfast! Thank you for the meal!

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I got a regular beef bowl to go from Yoshinoya. In my opinion, among beef bowl chains, Yoshinoya has the best tasting beef bowl. However, this time was disappointing. The meat was dry and tough. They only gave one packet each of pickled ginger and chili pepper, whereas at Matsuya, you usually get three packets, so it felt a bit lacking.
