Sakaraba, which opened in September this year! I was looking for a place like this to drink in Temma! The taste of the back alley is amazing! I discovered an izakaya that seemed to be in red lantern Temma but was not there. From appetizers to hearty dishes, there is a wide variety of dishes, and the carefully crafted seasonal dishes are irresistible! The first floor has a main counter with 12 seats and 2-person tables x3. The second floor has tables with 23 seats. You can even reserve the whole place! Here are some examples of the "wide variety of oden": daikon, chikuwa, suji, konjac, egg, and thick fried tofu. Here are some examples of the "instagrammable creative dishes": Sakaraba's potato salad with spicy keema curry on top, a sashimi platter with 5 kinds of fish, fresh sashimi directly from the market, me-nuke tai (lightly grilled sea bream), hokuhoku no howa howa (fluffy and soft) chicken and okra tempura with sesame sauce, and beef tendon and tofu. You must try this tofu!

One year anniversary! From the information seen on SNS, a partner who was running a restaurant in the area decided to venture into Temma! As we entered the deep alleys, we encountered a place with a charming atmosphere that seemed like a scene from a movie. Suddenly, my partner ran into an acquaintance, leaving a strong impression of them. We were guided by a friendly staff member to "Sakaraba," a cozy restaurant with a counter that also had two-seat tables efficiently placed. The kitchen was compact but seemed like a well-organized space. We arrived at 17:30 and realized that it was a good decision to come early. We ordered Young Corn Namul and draft beer, enjoying the refreshing flavors. We strategized while snacking on Sakaraba's unique Potatoes Salad with curry on top. The dish disappeared in no time as we savored the different flavors. Next, we eagerly awaited the Sashimi Oden, a hearty dish that left us impressed. The Sashimi Assortment Box was beautifully presented, offering a variety of fresh fish. The Tempura with Chicken Breast and Maitake Mushroom was light and crispy, perfect for immediate consumption. We also indulged in the Firefly Squid Marinated in Vinegar, appreciating its texture and flavor. The Beef Tataki with Uni Miso was a delightful combination that pleased our taste buds. Despite the restaurant being almost full, we managed to order one last dish to conclude our meal. The Uni was delicious on its own and paired perfectly with the tender beef. The kitchen staff must have worked tirelessly to accommodate our irregular requests, showcasing the popularity of the restaurant. With a high concentration of eateries in the area, we were fortunate to stumble upon this gem. Even with the drink sale for the anniversary, the cost performance was excellent. There is a restaurant located in a back alley between Sakana Sakana and Shokuniku Center, just a 1-minute walk from Temma Station. The interior of the restaurant has a counter with 14 seats and 3 two-person tables, with additional table seating on the second floor. It opened in September last year and has become very popular. The menu includes seafood, oden, fried foods, and various other dishes. Everything we tried was delicious. I highly recommend the popular sashimi platter with 5 types of fish. The oden, starting at 90 yen, was cheap and good. The beef tataki was tender, and it was even better with the uni miso. The manager was very friendly and talkative, which was nice. They are open for lunch on weekends and holidays from 12 pm, so you can enjoy a daytime drink or stop by for a quick drink.

I used it for a daytime drinking session. The staff were very kind and friendly! The potato salad, simmered dishes, and shrimp mayo were all delicious. There were so many things I wanted to eat but couldn't try them all, so I want to go back again! It's also easy to get to from the station.

I found this interesting shop while walking and thinking it would be cool to have a shop here. It operates on a QR order system. The menu has unique items like "octopus and wasabi mixed with okra" instead of just "octopus with wasabi." Everything was delicious. The staff were also very friendly. I love this kind of shop~ (fake Kansai dialect)

I went to a popular izakaya in Temma for day drinking! It's a lively area with daytime drinkers hanging out, and I decided to check out a super deep izakaya in the back alleys. It was bustling with customers even during the day, with cheap oden and rooms on the second floor. I started with my favorite Nanko Ume shochu soda for 420 yen. The recommended Sakaraba's potato salad for 480 yen was amazing, with keema curry on top. The thick ham katsu for 380 yen was piping hot and a must-try. The oden was delicious, especially the octopus for 250 yen and egg for 120 yen, with flavorful broth. The chicken and mushroom tempura for 520 yen was also great. The mochi-filled oden for 180 yen was fantastic. The beef tendon and tofu for 600 yen was so delicious. Everything was so good and affordable that I could have stayed for hours. The freshness of the squid was particularly good on the day of the visit. ● Overflowing Mapo Tofu The name of the dish is interesting. The Mapo Tofu overflowing from the top dish to the bottom dish was seasoned with plenty of Sansho pepper, making it a perfect dish to go with drinks. ● Beef Tataki with Uni Miso Sauce Beef tataki topped with Uni miso sauce. The rich sauce paired well with shochu or sake. ● Assorted Oden It includes konjac, hanpen, chikuwa, daikon, and ganmodoki. The oden is made with a flavorful broth and was very delicious. There is also a Hot Pepper coupon for a drink-all-you-can ala carte for 1300 yen, making it a reasonable option. The restaurant has counter seats on the first floor and table seats on the second floor, catering to various preferences. 【Spring Bullet Osaka Trip】Part 8️⃣ - Having too much fun in Temma, now wandering around Tenjinbashi Yonchome✨. Walking through the shopping street and stumbling upon a small alley, I felt a sudden inspiration. Following my intuition (which is surprisingly accurate), I entered a new place without hesitation. 【Sakaraba】was the name of the place, and despite feeling a bit nervous about trying a new spot, the warm welcome from the staff and their smiles put me at ease. This trendy bar had a cozy atmosphere with a counter on the first floor, seating about 10 people. I was drawn to the unique names on the menu, like the "Dropout Mapo Tofu" (laughs). The Mapo Tofu not only looked amazing but tasted delicious as well! It disappeared from my plate in no time. The Young Corn Namul was appetizing, and the Highball and refreshing "Midori Gin Soda" were quickly finished. The Oden dishes like thick fried tofu, goboten, and egg were also a tasty addition. The staff, both on the first and second floors, were busy but still managed to provide friendly and attentive service. Despite being my first time at this place, it felt very comfortable, and I would love to come back and enjoy more of what they have to offer. After leaving Sushi Center Doyama Store, I walked from Doyama-cho to Temma, crossing through Senba Park towards Temma Station. In this area, there are many izakayas lined up, and the one I visited this time was Sakaraba Temma Store. It's located slightly off the main path, so you might miss it if you don't know about it. I discovered this place on Instagram, where many Instagrammers share various restaurants that you might not find on food review websites like Tabelog. The complimentary macaroni salad was topped with chopped tomatoes. For food, I ordered a sashimi platter, Sakaraba's potato salad, and generously topped oyster fry. The sashimi included Ishigaki sea bream, red sea bream, salmon, seared Spanish mackerel, and ark shell. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful, especially the potato salad with keema on top. The oyster fry was a must-try during this season. The restaurant is known for its creative menu, so I recommend trying their original dishes over traditional sashimi. The manager was friendly and we had a nice chat. While I accidentally revealed that I was a food blogger, I chose not to disclose my username to maintain anonymity. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Sakaraba Temma Store and would like to visit again with a bigger appetite next time.
