I visited during lunch at 11:30. I should have made a reservation... All the window seats were taken, so I was seated at a table in a slightly enclosed area. It was good for privacy, but I wanted to dine in a more open space... I asked to move when a seat became available. I used a premium meal voucher. I won a ¥500-off coupon from the Kyoto-Keihan City Mall LINE, but the 20 limited meals were sold out, as the staff had put up a sign at the entrance. I had the daily grilled skewers set of 6. While I was getting some side dishes from the buffet, a seat opened up. The view from the large window was nice, although the window frame was a bit obstructive in that seat... but that's okay. Thank you for letting me move. I tried various side dishes. The grilled skewers had cooled down by then.

Sashimi, assorted side dishes, assorted grilled skewers, rice, miso soup, and pickles. The seasoning of the side dishes varies from slightly strong to just right. The grilled skewers are well-seasoned with salt. The coffee pairs well with the slightly burnt parts in the mouth. It's from the same company as Fujioken, Bunzo, and Sachifukuya. Although the portion looked small, I ended up feeling full. Thank you for the meal.

We visited this restaurant for lunch with a large group. Usually, when visiting in a group, we often feel unwelcome, but here they were very accommodating. They explained the buffet options clearly depending on the menu. For lunch, we had the white fish poêlé set with salad, side dishes, and pickles which were all you can eat. The amount of rice was just right. The simmered noodles were passed around to my friend who cannot eat wheat. The salad had a variety of options (although there were no tomatoes) and three delicious dressings. There is a private room that can accommodate 12 people. They also offered coffee after the meal. While the Keihan City Mall houses popular stores like Uniqlo and Muji, the restaurant area exudes a slightly more upscale atmosphere, almost like a different world. I visited for a reunion and we had a private room, but the ambiance seemed welcoming for solo diners as well. The window seats offer a beautiful night view, especially the ones facing the river on the north side, which are said to be hard to reserve during the Tenjin Festival. When I thought about going to the all-you-can-eat mentaiko (spicy cod roe) karage on the same floor, I found out that it wasn't available during the cherry blossom tunnel season. I thought it was a bit stingy, so I came here instead. I have been here a few times before, so I already knew the taste. I ordered a hamburger that wasn't to my liking, and as expected, it wasn't my favorite. Another person ordered the Thai sauté, but the flavor was also weak. The side dishes for the all-you-can-eat were just average. Considering the price, I guess this is what you get. We were seated in a private room without a view, and the service was not very friendly. They didn't provide chopsticks or wet towels until we asked for them, even after the food was served. Well, I guess I'll only come here when there's nowhere else to go, haha. Thank you for the meal.

It's an izakaya that serves sashimi, grilled skewers, and tempura. Every dish is carefully prepared and looks beautiful and delicious. The restaurant has private rooms and a quiet atmosphere, so we were able to enjoy our meal calmly instead of in a noisy, lively setting. I would like to visit again if I have the chance. This is a restaurant in the 8th floor restaurant area of Keihan City Mall that serves Kyoto-style cuisine. For lunch, they offer a variety of options starting from 1200 yen + tax, which includes obanzai and salad buffet. They also have a limited set menu of steamed Nanju pork with colorful vegetables for 1000 yen + tax, available only on weekdays with a limit of 20 servings. I tried the pan-fried white fish with special sauce for 1200 yen + tax.

I was surprised by the great value of being able to enjoy a buffet with a variety of obanzai dishes for just over 1000 yen at lunchtime! The obanzai dishes were delicious and plentiful. The teppanyaki menu looked expensive but very appetizing, I would definitely like to try it.

I went based on the reviews of my followers ♬ I was able to enter easily even as a solo diner, and was seated at a window seat! I sat at a 2-person sofa seat next to the window, so the view was beautiful. (The space between the sofa and the table was too wide, making it difficult to eat.) Although there were still some sets of limited 20 servings of steamed seiro (tax included 1,100 yen), I had used 1,200 points when making the online reservation, so I ordered the Aguu pork healthy beef noodles (tax included 1,650 yen) ♬ I immediately went to the buffet corner for side dishes and salad. They were very diligent about COVID-19 measures, requiring disinfection and disposable rubber gloves. I only got one round of side dishes, and I got a large portion! I wish there were more types of dishes that I really liked. After a while, the Aguu pork beef noodles arrived! The noodles were very soft with a thick sauce, so it was a must to mix it well with the rice. Otherwise, the sauce would be too thick (lol). The taste was not exactly to my liking, and the rice was a bit soft. The miso soup was quite strong in flavor. If I hadn't used the points, it would have just been an expensive lunch.

Second visit. When I arrived before noon, I was able to order the limited 20 servings of "Nanshu pork and colorful vegetable steamed in a steamer" for 1100 yen including tax. Unlike other menus, the obanzai (side dishes) are not buffet style, but come with 8 varieties served together. Only the salad is buffet style. Even though the obanzai is not buffet style, it was full of volume and reliably delicious.

Unfortunately, the limited steamed vegetable lunch for 1000 yen had ended. You can choose your main dish from meat or fish, and rice is refillable. On a holiday lunch... Today, as usual, I wandered around the restaurant area in Keihan City Mall around 11:45. I noticed a buffet with "obanzai & salad" that made G happy at the "Kyogohan and Teppanyaki Kyotsuki Temmabashi store." The slightly awkward service led me to a table with a great view of the Okawa riverside. It must be a nice spot for cherry blossom viewing in spring. I ordered the "daily grilled skewers set of 6" for 1500 yen (excluding tax). The buffet had over 20 types of vegetable-centered obanzai, which was very healthy and delightful. The obanzai included a variety of dishes like burdock, hijiki seaweed, sweet potatoes, eggplant, okra, konjac, seaweed and cucumber salad, and nuta. The salad was made with sunny lettuce, carrots, edamame, and corn, beautifully arranged. And then, the main dish, the grilled skewers, arrived. It included lotus root, shiitake mushrooms, meat-wrapped mushrooms, ?, salmon, and chicken, all seasoned in a Kyoto-style flavor. A healthy and hearty lunch that filled my stomach. It was a great find of a hidden gem restaurant. It might be a good spot for a date night as well, but that's not relevant to me. It was delicious. Thank you.

I went for lunch alone. The skewers were delicious and satisfying in portion. I sat by the window, so I enjoyed the nice weather and the view outside while eating. It was nice to be able to choose my favorite side dishes to eat as well.

Great value for money! I went for Sunday lunch and it wasn't too crowded, probably because there are plenty of seats. The staff were calm and friendly. The lunch special with all-you-can-eat Kyoto-style dishes for 1200 yen was really worth it. There were over 20 different side dishes, all of which were delicious. If you're a party of two, you might get a seat with a nice view of the Okawa River! The entrance is a bit hidden, but it turned out to be a great find.
