In the past, the breakfast service at Toyoko Inn only consisted of rice balls and miso soup. However, recently, the breakfast menu has become more varied nationwide, with the service differing by location. The rooms have a consistent atmosphere nationwide, with spacious and clean beds. The tables are also wide, making it ideal for business purposes. Our hotel is within walking distance from Hakata Station, but the access is not very convenient as you need to cross a pedestrian bridge or use an underground passage, which can be difficult with large luggage. The breakfast service hours are as follows: 6:30-9:00. There doesn't seem to be a curry service in the evening. If you check in early in the evening, you can see the ladies in the kitchen chopping vegetables by hand. The breakfast service is self-service, and the menu for the day includes meatballs, stir-fried eggplant, vinegar lotus root, wiener sausages, sesame-flavored burdock and konbu, simmered hijiki seaweed, dried daikon radish, rolled omelette, spicy burdock and konjac, simmered daikon radish and thick fried tofu, salad, macaroni salad, chilled tomato, sweet rice with mixed ingredients, mentaiko rice ball, sesame rice ball, miso soup, pickled mustard greens, pickled plum, pickles, and bread. This hotel has a wide variety of dishes, making it the best selection of side dishes ever! The miso soup with tofu, seaweed, and thin fried tofu is simple and delicious. There is also salad available for a good vitamin boost. The tomatoes were particularly sweet! I also got to try the famous mentaiko, and overall, I was satisfied with the complimentary breakfast! The service starts a little before 6:30 in the morning.
