After leaving the bar, the three of us headed to the basement of Tobu Ikebukuro. The girlfriend and the senior lady are buying gifts for the upcoming girls' night out, and I'm curious about what they will choose, so I tag along. Suddenly, the senior lady exclaims, "I want ice cream. Let's buy ice cream!" Without any objections, we head straight to the gelato shop in front of us, "Venchi," with its tempting array of flavors. Unable to decide, I offer to pay for everyone. The girlfriend seizes the opportunity, saying, "That's right, you got your bonus last week, right?" Oh no! I don't know how much it costs, and the prices are not listed! Is it market price?? I finally understand that you need to tell them the size and flavor, then pay upfront. Looking at the menu, I make my decision. The smallest size, Piccolo, costs 780 yen, and you can only order a double, even though I'm already full. I manage to make a choice, and each of us orders. I choose Ricotta & Chocolate and Venchi Cream in a cup. The girlfriend picks Tiramisu and Banana Split in a cup. The senior lady goes for Pistachio and Mascarpone & Caramelized Fig in a cone. We enjoy our gelato at a nearby stand. It's cold and delicious. The girlfriend's choice of Tiramisu and Banana stands out the most, especially the banana flavor. In the end, my choice had the most subtle flavor. The taste and service were excellent, but 780 yen for the smallest size is quite expensive! It would be great if they offered a single scoop option. Thanks for the meal! Now, we're running out of time. Time for shopping, shopping~ (•̀ω•́ ‧̣̥̇)~
