We met through work and made a reservation at the restaurant attracted by the name "Daiyame" which is a popular sweet potato shochu with a lychee aroma made by Orikku's Hamada Shuzo. This time, three of us visited, including a man from Shiga who is a divorced and remarried, a man from Wakayama who is on the verge of divorce and living separately from his family. The following course dishes were served: - Chilled red egg steamed with tea - Assorted two types of appetizers of the day - Assorted five types of sashimi - Two types of grilled skewers and vegetables - Grilled tofu with miso - Giant grilled prawns - Grilled Wagyu beef - Eel soba - Ice cream of the day We also had all-you-can-drink with Daiyame mixed with soda. The owner mentioned that there is no connection with Orikku, and Daiyame is a Kagoshima dialect meaning "relax and unwind with a drink". This time, the first meeting between Shiga and Wakayama was a fun and enjoyable gathering, truly a "Daiyame" party.

I had made a reservation for a birthday celebration at 7:00 PM, and arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes early. However, there were still customers from the previous reservation present, so we ended up entering the restaurant after 7:10 PM. It was clear that the restaurant was very busy, but I couldn't help but wonder what the point of making a reservation was. The staff informed other reservation customers to wait a little longer due to the previous customers still being there. Perhaps they should reconsider their reservation system to account for waiting times. As for the food, we ordered a 5,000 yen course with all-you-can-drink, and added a sake all-you-can-drink option. The food was indeed delicious and the staff's service was good. I can see why this place is popular, but their reservation system is a major letdown.

I recently visited this popular restaurant. It is located in the East Street shopping district, a bit further back from Umeda. As soon as I entered, a cute staff member welcomed me. There were counter seats and couple seats available, as well as some table seats. Even though it was a weekday, the restaurant was full. The counter seats were in front of a hearth where you could see live cooking. This time, I tried: - Wakayama water eggplant sashimi 450 yen - Sesame kampachi 680 yen - Hearth-grilled jumbo shrimp 980 yen - Today's grilled kampachi 580 yen - Shiga ayu primitive grilled 980 yen - Beef tongue 1,280 yen - Potato salad 480 yen - Unzen ham cutlet 680 yen - Eel soba 880 yen Just eating this without alcohol costs 4,000 yen per person, isn't it cheap? I was surprised by the high quality of this izakaya. It's incredibly delicious! I understand why it's so popular. Cheap and delicious! I went looking forward to having salt-grilled ayu, but they were sold out, so I ordered sardines and shrimp instead, and they were incredibly delicious. The sardines were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The salad had flying fish roe in it, and every dish was very tasty. I really liked the celery ponzu. The restaurant has two toilets, which is a thoughtful consideration for women.

I personally recommend everything! - Yamato chicken thigh sashimi ¥1280 - Grilled silver ayu fish ¥680 - Large herring ¥550 - Extra large shrimp ¥980 - Wagyu beef rib ¥1480 - Squid soft bone with vinegar miso dressing ¥480 - Celery with ponzu sauce ¥420 - Sweet potato ¥280 - Fresh wheat gluten stick ¥380 The shrimp and fish grilled in front of you on the hearth are amazing! It's quite hot in front of the hearth, but you can enjoy the live feeling. The shrimp is huge and very bouncy! It was delicious. I usually only eat fish as sashimi or sushi, but I realized that grilled fish is also great. The squid soft bone with vinegar miso is a must-order! They have over 30 types of sake, so it's also recommended for sake lovers. The complimentary dish, chilled chawanmushi, is also a high point. It's open from 4pm, so it's perfect for starting drinking a little early. Make a reservation and definitely go check it out!

The restaurant mainly serves Kagoshima shochu "Daiyame" and Kyushu cuisine such as robatayaki. I recently became a fan of Daiyame, so I was happy to find this place. I ordered a Daiyame soda highball as my drink. They also have a wide selection of sake. For food, I ordered grilled Pacific saury, grilled salmon and salmon roe, potato salad, assorted chicken sashimi, sesame amberjack, and lantern fish. The grilled Pacific saury was especially delicious. All the dishes were delicious and paired well with shochu and sake. I would like to come back again.

I was invited by a friend to visit a newly opened restaurant in March! The appetizer was a cold chawanmushi with plump shrimp inside, which was very satisfying! We also had celery with ponzu sauce, squid marinated in vinegar, shiitake mushrooms, grilled cod marinated in miso, sazae (turban shell) cooked in a pot, and fresh wheat gluten. We enjoyed drinking the Diamond sake, which is very easy to drink with a lychee flavor. We ate a lot, drank a lot, and the total bill for two came to around ¥10,000! If you're looking for a robatayaki restaurant in Umeda, be sure to check this place out!

I visited a robatayaki restaurant that I wanted to try! It has a casual atmosphere with a counter where you can see the food being grilled, which I found enjoyable. The most delicious dish was the onion from Awaji (laughs). It was sweeter than sweet potatoes, and it made me realize once again how special Awaji onions are!

It somehow makes you feel energized! It was delicious! The specialty dish, grilled whole Ayu fish, was amazing! It was fluffy and perfectly seasoned. While eating and drinking, I was looking at the faces of the other customers around me, and the restaurant was full! Everyone had a smile on their face! It's located at the southern end of Higashi Street in Umeda, Osaka. This time, I tried the 3,000 yen course for the first time. Next time, I would like to try the a la carte menu that caught my eye.

Once you take a bite, you'll understand how tasty it is. I finished it in 2 minutes, it was so good. ⭐️Yamato-niku torisashi mori (Yamato chicken sashimi platter) 858 yen - The photo shows 2 servings! It's really delicious, especially the Yamato chicken sashimi. ⭐️Yamato pork nikumaki chouchin (Yamato pork meat-wrapped lantern) 385 yen - This is amazing, pork wrapped in chicken lantern and grilled on a skewer! You have to try this, it's a must when you visit Daiame-san (laughs). They also have other attractive menu items like eel soba, extra-large prawns, and the finale, Yamato chicken tartare bowl. This izakaya is highly recommended! It was my first time trying robatayaki and it was incredibly delicious. Sitting at the counter, watching the food being grilled right in front of you was so exciting. The smell of the clothes wasn't as strong as I expected, and it's a great place for both women and for a date. They have a wide selection of sake as well. The stylish atmosphere and delicious food are the highlights. Definitely give it a try!

Currently, the #Rumored Store #Yakitori Bambora popular series store in the Umeda area is attracting attention! Located in the almost easternmost part of Higashi-dori Shotengai, it is convenient from Ogimachi Station. The store interior, which is not flashy but cool, has an interesting counter. The counter's L-shaped part features a prominent sunken hearth. Moreover, the long counter has different seating styles for each section, including couple seats!? It's a place where you can keep coming back, and there are also tables that are quite bustling. I was lucky to get a seat in front of the sunken hearth. The menu I tried includes: - Oohata Iwashi (large sardine) for 550 yen - Extra-large shrimp for 980 yen - Fresh wheat gluten for 380 yen - Sesame marinated bonito for 680 yen - Fried sardine for 480 yen - Grilled whole dried squid for 980 yen I recommend the Oohata Iwashi and extra-large shrimp, which are carefully grilled on the sunken hearth!
