A restaurant with highly original okonomiyaki dishes on the menu. They also offer a variety of teppanyaki options. Unique menu items include dishes like "Ten Cheese" with melted cheese on top of tempura crumbs and onions, and a fluffy okonomiyaki made with yam and egg. They also serve dishes like wagyu fillet steak. Average budget per person ranges from 3,000 to 5,000 yen.

In the back of the bustling Minami district, there is a delicious teppanyaki restaurant that has been around for 25 years. First, I tried the basic tonpei-yaki, which is pork belly rolled neatly with egg. It has a perfect balance with the sweet sauce and mayonnaise. Next, I tried the Kasuhari, a dish I had never heard of before. It was made with the chef's special oil residue, which gave it a crispy texture without excess oil, complemented by the crunchy watercress. Stir-fried with garlic soy sauce, it paired perfectly with beer. The yam steak had a soft and sweet texture, cooked to perfection with soy sauce. The restaurant's top recommendation, Tempura Cheese, was a delight with melted cheese over tempura bits and onions, offering a satisfying texture and just the right amount of saltiness. The spicy Tetchan dish enhanced the vegetable's umami with its spiciness and oil, creating a delicious balance. The Oyster Butter, cooked on the teppan, brought out the rich flavor of the oysters with soy sauce butter. Finally, the Custama Modern Yaki with plenty of cabbage was a tasty way to end the meal, with the added noodles making it a satisfying and light finish. The Highball is also highly recommended! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Teppanyaki restaurant Egami in Higashi-Shinsaibashi. The dimly lit interior sets a perfect mood!
- Tonpei-yaki: The pork is perfectly grilled.
- Kasuhari Oil and Mizuna stir-fry: The flavor of the oil residue spreads throughout the mouth.
- Yamaimo Steak: A gentle flavor with a bonito taste that enhances the natural taste of the ingredients.
- Spicy Tetchan: A rich spiciness that makes you want to keep eating.
- Salt Customa Yaki: We had it as a finishing dish. With plenty of cabbage, it has a Hiroshima-yaki taste and a fluffy texture that makes it addictive.

Late-night teppanyaki. Despite not losing any weight, my weight keeps increasing. I ordered stir-fry and yakisoba, but I have no memory of ordering this okonomiyaki. Instagram ID: kuidaore.8.

Tonight, I had a meal with N at Teppanyaki Egami in Higashi-Shinsaibashi, at the Nichiho Kasuyacho Kaikan. It's a teppanyaki restaurant with a variety of creative okonomiyaki dishes. The dishes are mostly seasoned with soy sauce. I apologize for the not so great photos due to the lighting. Every dish was delicious. Thank you for the meal. 1. Moyashi Salad: 700 yen - This is delicious! 2. Fuwafuwa: 800 yen - A dish made fluffy with yam. 3. Negiyaki: 950 yen 4. Gesoyaki: 800 yen - I love squid tentacles! 5. Kaibara Saute: 1200 yen

Introduced by a former wild uncle who used to play in the local Minami area since his student days, I visited the restaurant together. Many people from the Kanto region may think that there are only two types of okonomiyaki, Kansai-style and Hiroshima-style, which are large. However, people in Kansai have their own preferences for okonomiyaki, influenced by their upbringing and environment. Kansai-style okonomiyaki is a genre called "mix-yaki," where ingredients like yam are mixed in to create a fluffy texture by incorporating air when mixing. The style here is closer to the latter, which is similar to the Kobe-style with a base of wheat flour topped with cabbage, known as cabbage-yaki. The pork okonomiyaki was finished with sauce, and the udon-filled modern-yaki was finished with soy sauce. The soy sauce modern-yaki was extremely delicious and worth mentioning. Okonomiyaki takes time to cook, so "sujikon" is recommended as a binder!

If you're from Osaka, it's natural to have one or two favorite okonomiyaki restaurants, but in this age of information overload, it can be a bit stressful when your favorite spot becomes popular and crowded. In the midst of Osaka's okonomiyaki scene, this is the place to go when you want to enjoy your meal in peace. Located in the heart of Minami's drinking district, in a deep building that you wouldn't find unless you knew about it. The location and interior give off a high-end vibe, but the food is straightforward and delicious. From creative teppanyaki dishes to pork okonomiyaki, you can enjoy a tasty meal at a reasonable price compared to other places in the area. My personal recommendation is the grilled chicken tenderloin. It's juicy and delicious cooked on the hot plate. Sometimes there may be rowdy club-goers nearby, but if you can overlook that, you can enjoy a leisurely meal of delicious okonomiyaki and side dishes. They are open late, so it's a place worth knowing about and not missing out on.

The location has been introduced in other reviews as well, but from the main building of Daimaru Shinsaibashi store, head south on Shinsaibashi-suji shopping street (or Midosuji), turn left onto Europe Street, and then right at the second intersection. When you see Comfort Hotel Osaka Shinsaibashi on the left, turn right and you will find Eikamiya at the building called Nichoho Kasuyacho Kaikan on the right side. The entrance of the restaurant has a large lantern hanging, so you can easily spot it. The interior of the restaurant is not very spacious, and when I visited early, there were only two groups of customers. It's a high-class teppanyaki restaurant that feels more like a snack bar than an okonomiyaki & teppanyaki place. The teppan on the counter was polished and shining beautifully. There were three 4-seater table seats as well. I was brought here by a friend, and all the menu items were unique and visually appealing, which I'm sure women would love. And of course, the taste is excellent. I can't express it in any other way than "delicious." The alcohol selection is not extensive, but there are several types of shochu available. Since I went early, it was not crowded, but maybe it gets busier later due to the location. They are open until 2:00, so it's okay to visit even late. Definitely give it a try.

This time, I wanted to eat something with a strong flavor, so when I asked my companion, they took me to this teppanyaki restaurant. It was my first time at a teppanyaki restaurant, so I was a bit nervous. Located just off the European Street in Shinsaibashi, it's a bit hard to find, but once you enter the building, the restaurant is at the back of the first floor. Despite the unassuming exterior of the building, the interior of the restaurant is quite stylish, with a polished teppan grill and marble counter. I ordered a beer and the appetizer that came out was surprisingly delicious. The dishes I ordered were all tasty, with high-quality vegetables and meat. The cod milt was particularly impressive, so firm and delicious! Also, the vitamin-yaki was a must-try if you're a fan of okonomiyaki. What impressed me the most was the excellent service from the staff. They were friendly, polite, and kind, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. I personally would recommend this place for dates or business dinners. The portion sizes are not huge, so it may not be suitable for men looking to eat a lot, but for women, it offers a variety of options. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again soon.

Located at the back of a building, during the hot summer, you have to endure the hot air from other stores' outdoor units as you make your way in. There's a counter and tables, and when you sit at the counter where they're cooking, the smell really sticks to you. They have cheese-based dishes, and I always order both the cheese and tenkasu, and the cheese and potato. The crispy cheese is incredibly delicious, with no strange taste. Also, if you order another dish as a side, you'll get full, but you can't miss out on the okonomiyaki, so you power through. I can't quite find the right words to describe it, but it's a level above other okonomiyaki in terms of deliciousness. The yakisoba is also delicious.

Let's try eating teppanyaki dishes strengthening month, the sixth store. Located in a back alley in Minami, at the far end where the lantern is lit, there is a teppanyaki restaurant. Upon entering the restaurant, you will see a counter and table seats surrounding a shiny teppan. Despite the new look of the teppan and the atmosphere of the restaurant, it has actually been in business for nearly 10 years, which is surprising. Since it was my second or rather fourth stop, I honestly couldn't eat much... I tried "Heavenly Cheese for 700 yen," "Pirate Yaki for 2600 yen," and "Salt Teppanyaki for 1050 yen," and then just kept drinking glass after glass of wine... What was really delicious was the "Heavenly Cheese." For people from Osaka, it may be a common dish, but for me from Nagoya, it was quite fresh. I think it's just a bunch of cheese with tenkasu added and grilled on the teppan until crispy... but it went really well with the wine. Even for 700 yen, it was totally worth it! The manager at the counter was also very friendly, telling me various things about Osaka and recommending other delicious teppanyaki restaurants. I'm sorry I couldn't eat much this time, but I really want to eat a lot next time. Thank you for the meal!

I have visited this place several times, but this time I came with business associates. It is a teppanyaki restaurant in Osaka where food is cooked on a beautifully polished iron griddle. They use seasonal vegetables and quality meat, so the menu varies each time. Generally, they offer typical dishes. I recommend the palace hamburger and the fluffy yam pancake. Due to its location, this restaurant is often used for business dinners, but it is also popular among regular couples, making it a great spot for a date.
