On a regular night, I visited a yakiniku restaurant with a friend that I had been curious about for a while! The location was easy to find from the station, so we were able to get there without getting lost. We made a reservation just in case, but since it was a weekday night, there were seats available. I recommend making a reservation in advance as it might get crowded on weekends! We tried their specialty dish, the pot-cooked kalbi, and it was really impressive in both presentation and taste!! I highly recommend trying it for parties or girls' night out ( ^ω^ ) Next time, I want to challenge the manager's recommended pot-cooked hormone dish as well!!!

I found this place while walking around looking for somewhere open before 2 pm, as I was a lunch refugee once again. It seems like they took over an izakaya, but the long lunch hours are really helpful. The BBQ set meal (800 yen including tax) was quite filling with stir-fried meat, cabbage, bean sprouts, and more. The thin slices of meat were tender and the sauce was flavorful. The octopus kimchi was spicy but delicious when eaten with rice. The quality of the rice was so-so, but you can get one free refill. The soup was light with seaweed. The pickled vegetables were tasty and the portion size of the kimchi was generous for 800 yen. The ratio of men to women was about half and half, so it seems like people who like meat are in the majority. The menu also includes a "Bacon and Egg" dish which is cheaper than a cafe's morning set.

Today, I went on a lunch exploration around the Daimyo area for the first time in a while. Although I feel like I've already explored this area quite a bit, there are still new places to discover. It was already past 2 o'clock, so I had missed the lunch time, but I found a restaurant with its door open. The signboard had Korean characters written on it, so I was a bit worried about the language barrier, but I didn't feel like searching for another place, so I decided to just go in. Since it was a late hour, there were no other customers. However, I was guided to a counter seat, so I decided to sit down. When I looked at the menu, I was surprised to see that the lunch was quite affordable! The yakiniku set for 800 yen seemed like a good deal. Without much hesitation, I placed my order. You could choose from large, medium, or small rice portions, so I chose medium, but you could also get a refill later. The yakiniku set that arrived had a generous amount of meat and vegetables. The rice portion was small, about the size of a small tea cup, so I ended up getting a refill. The pickled vegetables, spinach ohitashi, and fern namul that came as side dishes were delicious. The meal was very satisfying. There were two staff members at the restaurant, both of whom seemed to be Japanese. After finishing my meal, I asked them about the prices, and they mentioned that they couldn't raise them any higher because this area mainly caters to salarymen. I was impressed by the restaurant's efforts to serve a delicious yakiniku set with a generous portion for 800 yen. There are still places like this around, doing their best. Thank you for the meal! By the way, the bacon and egg set is 450 yen, and the yakiniku bowl is 600 yen. I recommend them!

Tonight, I'm in the mood for Fukuoka! The area is called Daimyo. I was introduced to some specialty dishes by a friend: pot-cooked kalbi, pot-cooked hormone, and tongue that you can cut with chopsticks. I must try these! The meat is tender, and they provide sweet sauce, spicy sauce, and ponzu so you can enjoy it according to your preference. This is great! And it's wallet-friendly too, a nice cost-performance ratio! I finally visited the yakiniku restaurant Rensan in Daimyo that I had been curious about for a while! I found a lively yakiniku place as I walked from Akasaka, and I had been curious about it for a long time, so I finally visited. Three men went to visit, and I think we spent around 4000 yen per person eating and drinking. The specialty, the 50cm marinated kalbi!? along with the premium tongue, miso hormone, etc... It was simply delicious!!!! The staff also performed a service for the specialty, making it a unique feature of this place. I will definitely come back again^^ If you are looking for yakiniku in the Tenjin/Daimyo area, be sure to check this place out♪

There were entertaining signature menu items like 50cm kalbi and super spicy yakiniku, which made our drinking party lively. However, we felt that the regular kalbi or harami dishes were too expensive at nearly 1,000 yen per plate in this kind of casual yakiniku restaurant.

I don't watch TV so I'm not sure about the details, but I tried a super spicy dish that was featured on a show hosted by Matsuko Deluxe. The first picture is called "to the afterlife" and the second picture is the regular version. The color is intense and the spiciness is extreme. It's like a death sauce level of spiciness. It wakes you up instantly. I've been stuck in the bathroom since this morning... By the way, the K-pop artist I was eating with almost finished it all by themselves. They're a monster!!

I happened to come across a yakiniku restaurant online and felt a strong passion for their sauce on their website, which made me want to try it regardless of whether it was charcoal or gas fire. Here are the orders I made: - Beef marinated in a pot (50cm) - 1,390 yen - Premium tongue salt - 1,480 yen - Pork belly - 580 yen - Gizzards - 680 yen - Beef intestines - 580 yen - Lotus root salad - 580 yen - Rice (large) - 250 yen - Draft beer (Kirin Ichiban Shibori) x2 - 490 yen each I chose two dishes from the "Four Heavenly Kings" menu: - Premium tongue salt: A masterpiece of diamond cut that makes your heart flutter from the moment it's brought to the table. It's tender enough to be cut with chopsticks, yet has a chewy texture and oozes with flavor. I love it so much that I want to go back again. - Beef marinated in a pot (50cm): It's fun to take it out of the pot! The 50cm size is truly impressive and the meat is cooked in a U-shape. The marinated beef with the special sauce is delicious. The sauce comes in two types: secret sauce and sweet sauce. The secret sauce is a bit sweet and goes well with any type of meat, while the sweet sauce is surprisingly sweet. The "Gizzards" turned out to be cheek meat, which was flavorful and satisfying. I also found a menu that caught my attention on the restaurant's website: the "Solo Yakiniku Set (1,980 yen)." I might come back alone for some yakiniku in the future. The meat is delicious, the sauce is amazing, and the beer is Kirin. It was a wonderful restaurant experience!

I went with two friends! We had trouble finding a place to eat without a reservation, but after calling around, we finally found a place that could seat us right away. I saw on the menu that they had my favorite horumon and mino. I decided to try the mino today! When we arrived at the restaurant, we were greeted by young male staff members. We were seated quickly after giving our name. We ordered the mino, horumon, and thick-cut beef tongue. However, what came out was a bit different than expected - the mino and horumon were marinated in a sweet and spicy sauce. The restaurant seemed to specialize in marinated meats, but I prefer enjoying the natural flavors of the meat without the sauce. The taste was spicy and delicious, but personally, I felt a bit unsatisfied. Then, the beef tongue arrived - it was thick and tender. I realized that this was the highlight of the meal, and I turned into a beef tongue eating machine, finishing two large servings of rice along with it. While the horumon dishes were a bit disappointing, the beef tongue and marinated kalbi were very tasty! I left the restaurant feeling satisfied.
