I arrived in Osaka early for work near Umeda Station. I had planned to eat at "Ramen Souto" in Minamimorimachi, so I booked a hotel near the restaurant at Toyoko Inn. However, I was too late as they sold out quickly with their "serving until sold out" policy starting from 11 am. Nevertheless, Minamimorimachi Station has good access, and there are plenty of dining options in the arcade street near Osaka Tenmangu Shrine, so it worked out well. The only downside was the noise from the nearby highway, but having earplugs handy was very helpful. I had a good night's sleep and enjoyed a spacious breakfast area in the morning. They had switched back to using plates instead of disposable bento boxes due to COVID-19 precautions, which was appreciated. The breakfast included rice, miso soup, side dishes, and a drink corner with orange juice and apple juice. It was a nice touch to see individually packed rice with furikake seasoning. They also had pastries, so I had coffee and went for seconds. It was a typical Toyoko Inn breakfast experience.

I stayed at Toyoko Inn after a night of bar-hopping in Osaka. Toyoko Inn is known for its free breakfast buffet. They had warm miso soup, onigiri, and a variety of pastries for those who prefer bread. I had a hearty meal in the morning. Thank you for the delicious meal! ☆☆☆

This is a past log, but everyone knows the Toyoko Inn. This hotel includes breakfast in the accommodation, and it is cheap. However, in recent years, there has been an increase in foreign guests carrying Tupperware. Perhaps they are securing lunch? I saw juice being poured into the pot and other unpleasant things, so I stopped using the breakfast service. I don't feel like eating while smelling perfume early in the morning. I prefer to eat at the nearby Marugame Udon shop or tea house, or sometimes I just skip breakfast.

Fifth business trip to Osaka! Once again, staying at the reliable Toyoko Inn (^-^) I drank too much last night, but thankfully I woke up feeling refreshed this morning without a hangover. Even without an alarm clock, I wake up easily. I made plans with my brothers for 7:30, so I head downstairs 5 minutes early, but they haven't arrived yet. Since waiting won't change anything, let's eat! Today's choice is... (・_・D Hmm... I found some potato salad!! I don't want the bread to burn, so I'll toast it in the toaster oven for about 2 minutes. My brothers have finally come down. Oh? Are they hungover? They didn't take much food, haha. Well then, let's dig in!! Everything was delicious as always - thanks for the meal!!

In each of our jobs, my brother and I went on a business trip to Osaka! There is a root, so I had a modest breakfast. My morning... I'm lying down, and there is someone I don't know next to me... Why are you here? Trying to wash away excessive drunkenness, I ended up in a deep bathtub. Farewell, hair that is about to part ways... Oh my gosh! The bug in my stomach trying to meet... Oh, my heart, my stomach is definitely hungry. Are you going to eat? Morning, morning, it's my morning. Morning, morning, it's my morning. Two rice balls, potato salad, miso soup, pickles. There are not many choices, but it was delicious. Well then!

It is close to JR Osaka Temmangu Station and Subway Minamimorimachi Station. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from JR Osaka Station and various Umeda stations, so be aware of that. The convenient location is one of the reasons I often stay here. It's also near the southern end of the Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street (close to Tenjinbashi), so there are plenty of shops around. I had a complimentary breakfast, which was just the right amount for me and delicious as always. I don't usually eat a lot for breakfast, so the portion was satisfying.

Hotels in Osaka are experiencing difficulty in securing reservations due to an influx of visitors from China, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand, and other countries (summer 2016). I made a reservation when I had business in Osaka, but even other Toyoko Inns were almost fully booked. The lobby was filled with conversations in Chinese and other languages. I stayed for one night and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. It was a typical breakfast, but just the right amount for me as I don't eat much in the morning. This Toyoko Inn had 100% orange juice available, which was delicious. The hotel's name is Umeda, but it takes about 15-20 minutes to walk there. It's only one stop away, so it's better to use the Osaka Municipal Subway Tanimachi Line. I enjoyed my stay.

One of the business hotel chains in Osaka is Toyoko Inn. It is located a distance from the JR station, but is close to the subway station Minamimorimachi. The hotel is built overlooking the Hanshin Expressway. While soundproofing measures have been taken, it may not be ideal for a quiet night's sleep. The hotel offers services and amenities comparable to other similar hotels. Guests are provided with a free breakfast (7:00 to 9:30). Breakfast 1 is the breakfast service provided to guests at this hotel. It includes salad, bread, rice balls, miso soup, and drinks. There are no meat dishes available.

On April 30th, 2016, I had a leisurely breakfast as it was a holiday. The quality of the food was improved compared to last time, so I gave it a slightly higher rating of 0.1 points. The highlights were the improved quality of the rice balls and the addition of two types of juice.
On April 4th, 2015, breakfast service started at 7:00 AM, but there seemed to be some confusion with foreign guests as they started serving at 6:57 AM. The main differences from other places were the presence of roll cake and grated ginger for miso soup, which I was told is common in Osaka.
Overall, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast spread included miso soup, rice balls, side dishes, salad, pickles, bread, and various beverages. The hotel is conveniently located near a shopping street and a convenience store. The prices listed were accurate at the time of writing.

I love the kaki no tane sold at the vending machine in Toyoko Inn for 210 yen. I always end up buying it and finishing it in no time. The kaki no tane is large and sweet, with plenty of peanuts. It has a different deliciousness compared to Kameda brand. For breakfast, I had a bento box with spicy curry pilaf. You can eat in the lobby or in your room. It is located right near Minami-Morimachi station. It felt empty due to the current season.

I stayed at a popular hotel chain in Minamimorimachi, where a light breakfast is offered for free. I had rice balls or bread for breakfast after six years. There were side dishes like potato salad and burdock salad. They also had three types of pickles, pickled plums, cucumbers, and miso soup. They served coffee, tea, orange juice, and apple juice. There were about five types of rice balls, and I tried three of them - sesame salt and two types of furikake. Although they were smaller than convenience store rice balls, eating three of them gave me a feeling of fullness. It's better than buying rice balls at a convenience store.

After exploring Kita-Shinchi, I stayed at "Toyoko Inn Osaka Umeda Higashi" that night. Although it's called Umeda Higashi, it's actually closer to Minamimorimachi near the Horikawa Ebisu Shrine. It takes about 15 minutes to walk back from the Kita-Shinchi area. For breakfast, they served onigiri, bread, and 3-4 side dishes. It's the standard menu for Toyoko Inn. I thought the variety was a bit lacking, but to my surprise, there was a roll cake next to the bread. I enjoyed it as a little dessert for breakfast.
