It's a hassle to take the train in a zigzag route, so I decided to walk and quickly found myself at Ogimachi Park. I arrived too early, so I decided to stroll around the shopping street in Tenma and ended up passing by Kansai TV, where I suddenly saw the Tamade sign. Oh, I know this, a 24-hour discount supermarket. I had low expectations because of their cheap marketing strategy, but as expected, the prices were not as low as they claimed. Still, the convenience of being able to shop at reasonable prices 24 hours a day is valuable. They had a variety of items, including bento boxes for 200 yen, rice with toppings for under 100 yen, and fried white fish for under 50 yen. I couldn't resist and ended up buying a snack for 147 yen, which was warm and satisfying. The park was a perfect spot to enjoy it. Overall, the cost performance of the deli items was 78 points, the usability was 88 points, and the taste was 72 points, resulting in a score of 79 points. If I have the chance to visit Tamade again, I might try other items like rice with toppings. ...But maybe I should go for the 300 yen morning set at "Juhachiban" instead of the park breakfast.

While wandering down a back alley off the shopping street, I headed to Tamade. There were many lively standing bars along the way, making it hard to choose just one for a quick drink. It's quite an enviable environment. It had been a week since I last visited Tamade, and this time, I found the sweets and drinks on the 2nd floor. Despite the constant announcements about being the cheapest in Japan, the prices were not that low. I was disappointed. So, I settled for some fried food on the 1st floor. While the variety and prices of sweets and drinks were disappointing, the sushi rolls, pressed sushi, and fried foods were decent. I bought a mincemeat cutlet for 39 yen, a small fried horse mackerel for 49 yen, and a croquette for 39 yen. They weren't warm, but I didn't mind since the hotel room had a microwave. I made my way back to the hotel in Nakanoshima through the Tenjinbashi shopping street. The mincemeat cutlet, at 39 yen, was juicy with a good balance of meat and fat, and it was satisfying even without sauce. The fried horse mackerel had a slight bitterness that made it quite appetizing. Although they were nothing special when considering the price, they were still enjoyable. The croquette, on the other hand, remained crispy even after being reheated in the microwave. It was a bit too sweet for my liking, but the balance of potato and minced meat was delicious. If you're looking for a cheap snack, Tamade's fried foods are worth a try. However, if it's not morning, you might want to consider options like the 130 yen cabbage pancake. Therefore, the score for late afternoon evaluation is 74 points, a decrease from the morning score of 79 points.
