I used a student discount and it was only 510 yen~ The Kaikatsu Club is really a budget-friendly soft serve ice cream buffet! I had plenty of refills in just over 2 hours! Not all the photos are here (・ω・`). Also, I tried corn soup for the first time and it was super delicious! The slightly melted soft serve ice cream turned into something like gelato, which felt like a great deal!

Title "Osaka Trip with Seishun 18 Ticket in Summer 2019 Part 4: Active Plan"
On the first day of the summer trip to Osaka with Seishun 18 Ticket, we departed on a train one hour later than the first train, had breakfast in Numazu, lunch in Nagoya, and visited the Linear Museum. We also had dinner and a bath in Nagoya before finally reaching Osaka. Since we arrived later than planned, we decided to visit the nearby Active Club from Shin-Osaka Station instead of the South Tamagawa Active Club. It was about a 2.3 km walk from Shin-Osaka Station, which wasn't too far, but the towering buildings in front of the station and the bustling streets near Mikuni made us a bit anxious. We arrived at the club after some time. The club was surprisingly empty when we arrived after midnight. It might be a hidden gem. This club could be a good emergency shelter in case you miss the last train from Shin-Osaka Station. This particular branch is located in front of Hankyu Mikuni Station, so it's more convenient if you use the Hankyu train.
Check-in at this club automatically switches to the cheapest pack based on the usage time. We planned to stay for 8 hours, so the fee would be 1728 yen plus 108 yen for weekends and holidays. Upon entering, we immediately quenched our thirst with a drink and soft serve ice cream. The drink bar had a "mocktail" theme, where you could mix different drinks to create new flavors. Breakfast was available from 6:00 to 10:30, and it was a buffet. We had toast, potato fries, drinks, and soft serve ice cream. If you're concerned about the high carb and fat content of the breakfast, you can order from the regular menu. Soft serve ice cream was not available from 1:00 to 5:00 am in this branch, but it varies by location.
The comfort of the flat seat was okay, but it was a bit cold at night due to the nearby air conditioning vent. Some branches can be noisy, so it's something to keep in mind. We paid 1836 yen using WAON, and we received additional points as per the usage fee. We also received points for using WAON. We planned to meet a friend in the evening, so I spent some time alone. I went to a public bath for a morning bath and then visited the Osaka City Museum.
