I had a craving for Edomae-style chicken sashimi and found a standing bar in Juso where I could eat it. Not only was the chicken sashimi delicious, but I also appreciated the attention to cleanliness and safety. It was a great experience.

While strolling through the shopping street in Juso, I came across a shop that caught my eye. It was "Torisashi Umematsu Juso Store," a shop specializing in takeout and standing bar using fresh Satsuma local chicken. I greeted the lovely madam and received explanations of the various products available. I decided to purchase the recommended "momotataki" and "mune" and enjoyed them at the table outside the store. The mune had a satisfying texture, while the momo was delicate and tender, both were fresh and delicious. As I kept praising the flavors, the kind madam prepared garlic and ginger for us, which when dipped in the special sauce, enhanced the deliciousness even more. It went really well with alcohol. If only there was a shop like this nearby... It was a fateful encounter with Umematsu, and both of us instantly fell in love with it, visiting twice for lunch and in the evening. I heard there is a main store in Sakai City, so I would like to visit there as well. It was incredibly delicious. Thank you for the meal!
