I stayed at a budget business hotel with a breakfast buffet included for a little over 4000 yen after staying at a slightly more expensive hotel the day before. The window had a thin roll-up curtain instead of a regular curtain, which was a bit of a downside, but other than that, the facilities were new and clean, making my stay very comfortable. The breakfast buffet started at 6:30 am, and although the dishes were pre-made and a bit cold, there was a microwave available to warm them up, so it was not a problem. There was also a drink bar, which I thought was sufficient for a business hotel breakfast buffet. This is a business hotel located on the outskirts of the town of Nakashibetsu. I stayed here for a few days for business. Breakfast is included in the service, but it is served at room temperature, so it is cold. There are not many options, but it is sufficient for a quick meal before heading out. The room has a calm atmosphere and is well cleaned, but the windows in the room only have roll curtains, so I think the interior silhouette will be visible when it gets dark outside. The amenities are minimal but provided, and there is no public bath, only a unit bath, but you can get free bath salts at the front desk. However, I was slightly bothered by the smell of the dryer from the bath towels. The parking lot is spacious, and there is a convenience store on the premises, which is convenient.

I booked through a travel site for 6000 yen, but it seems that the official price is 4500 yen per night. It's cheaper to book directly with the hotel. (I booked a twin room, but a single room would be fine for one person.) Breakfast is included, but it's just cold pre-made food. It's okay for a light breakfast. There's no bread, just rice. It's enough for ochazuke. The room is clean. Amenities are minimal, and there's a kettle but no cups or tea in the room, so I had to ask at the front desk. If you just want a cheap place to stay, I recommend this place!
