I left JR Osaka Loop Line Teradacho Station and walked a little east on National Route 25 to find "Sukiya." I was working late and feeling very hungry, so I decided to just go in here. The interior of the restaurant is compact, typical of an urban fast food restaurant, with a counter and a few tables. They have introduced tablets for ordering, which I have gotten used to, and it's convenient to be able to take your time choosing. I ordered a Mini Gyudon (beef bowl) for 350 yen, with a 3-item set including pickles, miso soup, and a raw egg for an additional 190 yen. It was served incredibly quickly. I tried the Gyudon as is at first, then cracked the raw egg and mixed it in. I added some shichimi (seven spice) and pickled ginger for extra flavor. The taste is consistent with other Sukiya locations, nothing extraordinary. However, despite the small portion, the amount of egg remained the same, making it more like a Gyudon with egg (TKG). Looking at it from a different perspective, you can get a Gyudon with egg set meal for just a coin... it's all about how you think about it.

A quick dinner at Yoshinoya, Matsuya, or Sukiya? Our household is a Sukiya fan. This time, we tried the "Yokohama Chinese Restaurant" at Sukiya, which offered a spicy beef bowl. I ordered the "Tabe-raa Menma Gyudon." It had a nice level of spiciness, but I felt the "ma" (numbing) part was a bit weak. I wish it had more of a numbing sensation. However, the addition of Menma made it different from a regular beef bowl, which was good. I look forward to trying new flavors in the future.

Thanks to Prime Minister Abe, we are in the era of a good economy in the Heisei period! Learning from the lessons of the Showa bubble, we live wisely as Heisei men! But some Showa middle-aged men imitate Heisei men by drinking frugally. Drinking is the best! #lovedrinking #Sukiya #Teradamachi #Drinkingtime from 5 pm to 5 am

A beef bowl restaurant near JR Teradacho Station. There were no issues with the service. Instead of using food tickets, there were tablets at each table where you could place your order, which was nice because you could take your time choosing. This time, I ordered the regular size beef bowl with a small bowl of rice for 550 yen. Even though it was the regular size, there was a good amount of beef on top, and I thought the cost performance was very high. The miso soup was just okay.

Located a short walk east from JR Osaka Loop Line Teradacho Station, this is a popular beef bowl chain restaurant. The compact interior resembles a city-style fast food joint, with a counter and a few table seats. Unlike the typical ticket system, you order directly from the staff after looking at the menu. I decided to try the "Gyudon Light" (380 yen) listed discreetly at the corner of the extensive menu. This bowl consists of beef bowl toppings served in a bowl with tofu and salad, without any rice, making it a healthy option. With only 268kcal for a regular size, it is quite low in calories. The dish is surprisingly refreshing, with cabbage, corn, and tofu beneath the beef. While it may not exactly resemble a traditional beef bowl, it is still delicious as a different type of dish. Adding some shichimi pepper or pickled ginger can enhance the flavor. However, the warm beef toppings on cold tofu can result in a lukewarm mixture as you eat, which may not be to everyone's liking. It goes down easily due to its warmth, but eating too quickly can be detrimental to your diet. It's recommended to order some miso soup or side dishes to complement the meal.

I entered the restaurant around 1:30 pm. There were 3-4 people at the counter and one group at a table. I had my daughter with me, so we sat at a table. There weren't many people, and there was enough space between each table, making it easy for even a stroller to fit through. I ordered the three-cheese beef bowl with kimchi topping, and my daughter had the curry from the kids' set. There are many eateries near Terada Station, but some only have counter seats or limited menu options for children, making it difficult to choose. This restaurant has table seating and a kids' menu, making it a comfortable place to dine. It's affordable too. The food was okay, not great. The rice was a bit soft this time. I made a mistake by having the kimchi on top of the cheese from the start, so the cheese didn't melt well. I should have asked for it on a separate plate. It was a bit disappointing to find a crumpled tissue or receipt under the table. My daughter still can't sit at the counter for a while, so I would like to continue coming here in the future. Most importantly, my daughter, who eats very little, finished the curry from the kids' set, so that's one of the reasons I choose this place. I hope they bring back the negitoro bowl since the tekka don didn't suit my taste.

I tried the chicken curry that was trending online. The meat was really tender, easily falling off the bone with just a spoon. It was so soft that I ended up eating the cartilage too, leaving only two thick bones and some thin ones. The flavor was quite strong, so it would be delicious on its own, but it paired perfectly with the curry. It was my first time trying curry from Sukiya, and it was surprisingly good - spicy yet with a hint of sweetness. I think the chicken tastes better when eaten with the curry than on its own.

At Sukiya, it's 690 yen! It's unheard of to get a beef bowl for 690 yen at a beef bowl restaurant unless you don't order alcohol, right? That's me, but I was influenced by TV and ended up spending just over 700 yen on a takeout order at Sukiya. It was the "Yakisoba Gyudon Om Curry MIX" - a combination of "Yakisoba Gyudon" topped with a fluffy omelette and plenty of vegetables mixed with "Yokohama Curry". If you ignore the calories, it's definitely delicious junk food. It's good to indulge once in a while. The Sukiya near me is located in Teradacho.
