I visited the restaurant during breakfast time. Although it was a different store, I was able to order the beef bowl that I wanted from yesterday. Despite being before 6 am, there were quite a few customers. Having beef bowl toppings available is definitely a good thing.

Visited around 9:30 pm. The restaurant has 7 counter seats and 7 tables, which is an average-sized establishment. It was convenient to have a parking lot. I ordered a regular beef bowl using the touch panel. It took less than 5 minutes for the food to arrive, even though it was a one-person operation. The presentation was a bit uneven, with some rice grains visible, but the portion size was good. It's really nice to be able to enjoy such delicious beef bowl, park for free, and eat even outside of regular meal times.

At lunchtime, I suddenly craved curry. But there were no curry specialty stores near the Shin-Meishin interchange. I was worried, but as I was driving, I suddenly saw the word "curry." I decided to stop by. It was lunchtime, but there were only a few people eating inside. However, the parking lot and entrance of the store were crowded. I sat at the counter and looked around, and it made sense. Everyone was getting takeout. In fact, there was a special machine for takeout orders inside the store, so you could buy without having to talk to the staff. The world has changed due to the pandemic. I ordered the "Sara Umai Pork Curry" with salad and miso soup. The curry was surprisingly delicious, but the pork was in cube form like consomme soup cubes, which was a bit strange. And miso soup with curry... But for 660 yen, I was satisfied with the price. I heard a young man's voice from the kitchen saying, "Can I help you?" and a woman's voice replying, "No, I'm good." The atmosphere was nice, and I'm glad I came to this restaurant. I gave it a higher rating based on the atmosphere.

I came to Sukiya after a long time. Personally, I think Sukiya's gyudon matches my taste. Today, I decided to try the curry tonjiru, which sounded interesting. I ordered a large gyudon with extra sauce, curry tonjiru, egg, and pickles. The dishes arrived quickly, and I started with the curry tonjiru. It was lighter than I expected, with a flavor that seemed to go well with rice. I like to put a lot of pickled ginger on my gyudon, maybe even too much.

I had lunch. It was before 1 o'clock and the place was empty. It's a good location, so I guess people prefer to go to the nearby Osho restaurant. I ordered a large beef bowl with extra sauce. While Matsuya's beef bowls have little sauce, this one had plenty. There were lots of ingredients too. However, the color of the meat and onions seemed very soy sauce-stained, like they had been simmering for a long time. With few customers around, I had a bad feeling. But, surprisingly, the flavor of the meat and onions that had soaked in was really delicious. This is not something you can order straight off the menu. It was my first time experiencing a beef bowl that had been cooked for a long time, but it was really tasty. I wish they would put it on the menu as something like "aged beef bowl" (at the same price).

It had been years since I last had it, but thanks to the special "Saturday Ox Day," I finally ate it again. It was before 6 am in the morning. I ordered without even looking at the breakfast menu. Nowadays, you order with a tablet, right? The unagi and beef combo for 1,050 yen including tax seems like a good deal, doesn't it? Personally, I would be even more satisfied if I could add a bit more beef. The sweetness of the unagi sauce bothered me a little, but overall, I am satisfied.

[Usual Sukiya] Once again, I got the "Takana Mentaiko Mayo Gyudon" in a large size for takeout!! I use it when I want to enjoy a meal without any hassle. I don't have to interact much because I mostly just operate the panel myself, but the service was also good.
