It is located right in front of the west exit of Hankyu Train Station. I arrived late for lunch, but I had a generous sashimi set meal. It included salmon, tuna, yellowtail, sea bream sashimi, deep-fried tofu, potato salad, pickles, and almond jelly for dessert. It was a satisfying meal with a good amount of food. You can choose either udon or seaweed miso soup as a side dish. It was delicious. Thank you.

I moved to the second floor because the first floor was full. It was still calm and relaxing. There was a grill for grilling seafood on the table, which got me excited. I decided to order grilled whole squid. The fresh squid arrived, but instead of grilling it myself, the staff cooked it for me. They cut it up and served it on a plate. While it was interesting to watch it being cooked, the final dish tasted like a regular squid dish you would find at any izakaya. The disappointing part was that it lacked freshness and the flavor was quite bland. It seemed like the presentation had more focus than the actual taste.

It's fun and delicious to have seafood grilled right in front of you. However, it was disappointing that the clams and sea bream, which I wanted to eat the most, were sold out. Even though I could see sea bream swimming in the tank right in front of me... There is a smoking area and a restroom on the second floor, which is a bit of a hassle to go up to. The pricing is okay, nothing special.

I went to Hanshin Racecourse, which was held without spectators to prevent the spread of COVID-19, with a reservation system in place for entry. Except for G1 races, same-day tickets were available. I usually prefer longshot horses, but on this day, I focused on the favorites and managed to correctly predict 3 out of 5 races. I left early to avoid crowds and ended up having a drink at a restaurant near Juso Station. I chose Isomaru Suisan, where I enjoyed a beer and ordered a variety of dishes like chicken karage, tuna sashimi, clams with mushrooms in garlic butter, and more. The food was decent, nothing exceptional. I also had a drink called "酔鯨" to finish off my first stop. Thank you for the meal!

Visited in August 2022. There was always a debate about what to have for dinner on holidays, but in response to the constant request from that family member who had been saying they wanted to eat grilled seafood, we headed to "Isomaru Suisan Tennoji Nishiguchi Ekimae Store" in Juso. It is a well-known 24-hour seafood izakaya chain with 121 stores mainly in Kanto and Kinki regions as of August 2022. This chain is also known for the "Azamaru Suisan" and "Okemaru Suisan" which won the Gal Trend Word of the Year award in 2018 (laughs). I only remember using Isomaru Suisan for lunch, and I only remember that the seafood bowl was not that great (^_^;) so this was my first time using the izakaya. It was a Friday night, but we were able to enter without a reservation. Our order included: - Mixed live shellfish in large size - Crab miso shell grilled - Potato pot salad - Soft-boiled egg tempura with salmon roe and grated daikon - Squid and mushroom cotton grilled - Butter soy sauce (for grilled shellfish) - Hoppy white set (one refill) - Oolong tea (for family member) After ordering, a mature male staff member came and started heating up the sazae, clams, and crab miso shell on the stove. Huh (・_・)? I wondered if we had to do it ourselves, but the staff managed everything for us. Thanks to that, we were able to enjoy our meal leisurely without worrying about the cooking. ■ Mixed live shellfish The contents were 2 sazae, clams, scallops, and scallops each. The combination of the bitter taste of the sazae liver and the savory soy sauce flavor was fantastic!! Clams, scallops, and scallops all have delicious soup left in the shell, which is amazing, right? Scallops with the optional butter soy sauce topping were a great choice! ■ Crab miso shell grilled This was incredibly delicious without any unpleasant smell, and the crispy aroma from grilling was amazing!! I didn't remember crab miso being this delicious. I almost went for seconds, but even one shell per person would be totally fine. Surprisingly, not only seafood but also izakaya menu items were delicious without any mistakes. ■ Potato pot salad A salad where you mix marinated egg, thick-cut bacon, and tenkasu to make a potato salad. The strong mayonnaise flavor and the savory taste of the potato salad itself were quite delicious!! ■ Soft-boiled egg tempura with salmon roe and grated daikon It's literally egg tempura with broth poured over it, and the bonito flakes in the broth are well-flavored and delicious. The refreshing grated daikon and salmon roe on the side make you feel like you could eat endlessly (laughs). I underestimated it as a chain store, but it's quite delicious, and the service is not bad. The secret to their long-term operation must be in these aspects. It was delicious and had a casual feel being a chain store! I will come again! Thank you very much.

I visited on a regular night. I entered thinking it was a cheap place to drink, but the prices were actually quite normal. I ordered two draft beers and some sashimi of whelk. The whelk was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Located right outside the west exit of Hankyu Juso Station is Isomaru Suisan. As soon as you enter the entrance, you will see a fish tank on your right with fresh seafood. This is a place where you can enjoy fresh seafood bowls and grilled seafood. There were quite a variety of seafood bowls available, so we tried them one by one. The dishes were beautifully arranged with colorful ingredients. Donburi, a Japanese dish where rice and side dishes are served in a bowl, is not a very old tradition in Japanese cuisine. While a dish called "hoimeshi" was popular during the Muromachi period, the appearance of the original eel bowl, known as unadon, only came about in the early 19th century. On a regular day around 22:30, it was not crowded. There is a izakaya (Japanese pub) right in front of Hankyu Juso Station. It is a chain restaurant that can be seen in various places, but it was my first visit. Next to the entrance, there is a water tank with shellfish and fish, looking fresh. The interior of the restaurant is quite cramped. The tables, chairs, and overall space are narrow and uncomfortable. The floor also seemed not very clean, making it difficult to find a place to put our belongings. The menu mainly focuses on seafood. It gives the impression of not being very cheap. - Crab Miso Grilled in Shell The taste of crab miso was hardly noticeable. It was disappointing. We left the restaurant soon after. Last weekend, I went to my mother's hometown to visit her. My elderly mother lives there, so I wanted to show my filial piety while she is still alive. I checked my work emails at home in the morning before heading to her place. My mother loves "Kitazushi Sogo Honpo" and wanted me to buy some "mitarashi dango" from there. Before that, we decided to have lunch, so we got off at Juso station. I found two remaining shareholder discount coupons for "Isomaru Suisan," so we decided to have lunch there. We arrived at the restaurant a little after 11 am, and it was almost empty inside, probably because we missed the lunch rush. I was seated at the counter and ordered the "seafood mixed rice bowl" that I wanted to try. Before that, we had some "potato salad" and "shirasu don" as appetizers, along with a "lemon chu-hi." The "potato salad" and "shirasu don" arrived first, and they were delicious. As I enjoyed them with my drink, the "seafood mixed rice bowl" was served. The large eel looked delicious, and there were various sashimi on top. I could also enjoy the sashimi as appetizers. It was a happy feeling to eat delicious food and drink during lunch. With the shareholder discount coupons used up this time, I wonder if I will receive new ones in late May.

Just outside the west exit of the thirteenth station, there is a seafood izakaya called "Isomaru Suisan Juusan Nishiguchi Ekimae-ten" with a big sign displayed on the ground floor, shining brightly even from afar at night. The atmosphere is like being at a beach house, where you can enjoy grilling fresh seafood on the table with a stove and net. The main four-person table is honestly cramped and tight, but it's an ultimate hands-free barbecue experience where you don't need to prepare or clean up. Just outside the west exit of the thirteenth station. Today, I had a late lunch here. The restaurant has a counter and table seating, and offers a wide variety of seafood dishes as the name suggests. I ordered the Negitoro bowl and miso soup with fresh seaweed. Let's dig in! The Negitoro bowl has a generous amount of ingredients on top of the vinegar rice, giving it a satisfying texture. However, the Negitoro itself is a bit fatty, which may be a matter of personal preference. The miso soup had plenty of seaweed, which was nice. Overall, it was a satisfying meal! It's rare to find a restaurant in the area that is open 24 hours. The location is great, as you can catch a train within 30 seconds of leaving the restaurant if you're heading towards Kobe Sannomiya.

On September 19, Reiwa 2 (Saturday), the upcoming weekend has become terrifying! While I don't mind it in winter, the thought of going out to Osaka in the midst of summer heat is terrifying! Even though I am not as overweight as before (80 kgs. → 60 kgs.), as the autumn approaches, just a little walk makes my whole body sweaty and I feel like jumping into a cold bath right away. I am a sweaty person and also have a fetish for scents, so I worry if others can smell my sweaty odor especially when I pass by lovely ladies with a faint fragrance. Today, we left early in the morning at 8 o'clock and discussed where to have a morning drink on the Hankyu train. We ended up deciding on Iso Maru Suisan in Juso, a place I have never visited before. The reason is simple! My wife has a unique constitution that allows her to eat sashimi in the morning! We arrived at 9 o'clock and underwent temperature checks and hand sanitization, which have become more noticeable in these types of establishments recently. Our orders were: for me, squid menchi katsu (439 yen including tax) and yuzu highball (439 yen), and for my wife, Fuji 2 kinds of sashimi (879 yen), large horse mackerel fry (549 yen), white wine (glass) (439 yen), and shikuwasa sour (439 yen). We also had grilled squid, fried eggplant, and some other dishes. The grilled squid here is a favorite of mine, always satisfying. Although we drank less than usual for a morning drink, I felt a bit dissatisfied with the amount, so we decided to look for the next place in Umeda. Thank you for the meal!

On September 19, the first day of the 4-day autumn equinox holiday, also known as Silver Week, I decided to go out for a morning walk after a long time. I left my house early in the morning with the intention of walking, but I quickly realized that it was much hotter than I had anticipated. It was scorching! So, I sought refuge at Isomaru Suisan, a seafood restaurant near Juso Station. They were open early in the morning (24 hours), which was very convenient. This was my second visit to Isomaru, as I had previously been to the branch near Temma Station. This time, I enjoyed a hearty seafood meal. Upon entering, my forehead temperature was checked and my hands were sanitized, showing that they were taking thorough measures against the virus. The spacing between tables and ventilation were also reassuring. There were about 3 groups of customers, and the atmosphere was bright and cheerful. The staff were young and energetic. I spent about an hour there, feeling very relaxed. For food, we ordered squid minchi-katsu, large horse mackerel fry, tuna sashimi platter (shaped like Mount Fuji), grilled squid, and fried eggplant. For drinks, my husband had yuzu highball and red highball, while I had white wine and shikuwasa sour. The grilled squid, which we had also enjoyed on our previous visit, was delicious. Although we would have loved to gather with friends for a lively meal, it's still not possible due to the ongoing pandemic. I hope we can enjoy such moments with friends again soon. When I was struggling to decide where to have lunch at Juusan Station, I went to Isomaru Suisan! It's a well-known izakaya with many branches, but I had never been there before. I like seafood, but I don't often go to seafood izakayas so it felt fresh. Even though it was lunchtime, some people were drinking beer and enjoying grilled horned turban shells. It looked delicious! But today I opted for a rice bowl! I didn't have much of an image of it, but there were plenty of rice bowl options for lunch. And they were mostly in the 600 yen range. Cheap. I had a salmon and seared tuna rice bowl. The ingredients were fresher than I expected! I had underestimated chain izakayas, but now I might be interested in trying their other seafood dishes! Next time, I want to come back in the evening to enjoy some drinks and seafood. Thank you for the meal!

Cheers! - Draft beer 278 yen - Isomaru Junmai Sake (Original) 399 yen each, had a few. This Isomaru sake, an original blend, is surprisingly good for its price! It has a refreshing taste with a sharp finish, making it easy to drink. Appetizers: - Grilled crab miso in the shell 499 yen: Cooked on a self-service grill. The staff taught us how to do it, so even beginners need not worry. The sweet and savory flavor pairs well with the sake, but the seasoning is a bit too strong. - Dried pufferfish 499 yen: Firm and fatty, very delicious. It was slightly dry, but that was probably because I overcooked it. - Assorted sashimi (4 types) 799 yen: Yellowtail, salmon, tuna, and sea bream. The freshness was decent, nothing remarkable. - Deep-fried fresh octopus 399 yen: The fresh octopus had a delightful chewy texture. The suction cups were crunchy and irresistible. Overall, the appetizers were not particularly impressive, but the cheap drinks were appealing. The system of grilling your own food on the tabletop grill may be a hit or miss for some. I don't mind it, so I'd like to try grilling shellfish next time. Thank you for the meal.

I had the Bara Chirashi Don for lunch. It was topped with salmon, yellowtail, salmon roe, egg, cucumber, and more, making each bite different and delicious. I went back again yesterday because I really liked it. Yesterday, I also ordered the miso soup with seaweed for 99 yen. It was served in a large bowl and tasted really good. I learned that it's a good idea to order soup with the donburi. However, the restaurant was quite noisy with many customers drinking during lunchtime.
