The plum blossoms were truly exceptional. The food was amazing, and I enjoyed a pleasant time in a lovely atmosphere. It was my mother's 77th birthday, and they kindly allowed us to take photos. The food and service were top-notch.

Ume no Hana Sakai Toshiaki no Morikan is a restaurant with a great atmosphere and a very clean and luxurious feel. I had the kaiseki course featuring black wagyu beef on a lava stone. I was seated in a private room and enjoyed dishes like yuba tofu appetizer, tuna and shellfish sashimi, deep-fried conger eel and eggplant, simmered wheat gluten, silver cod in miso marinade, and mackerel sushi. The highlight was the delicious black wagyu beef on a lava stone, and I ended the meal with a tasty dessert. Overall, I was very satisfied.

The entrance to the famous Yuba restaurant Ume no Hana in the Toshimori area of Sakaishi is very hard to find. The special summer lunch for 3500 yen took a really long time to come out. It took 40 minutes for our order to arrive. Then, we had to wait 10 minutes just to pay the bill. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience at Ume no Hana Sakai Toshiaki no Mori branch.

I visited the restaurant to celebrate a friend's birthday. We usually order the course menu, but this time we tried the Lunch SAI for the first time. The dumplings and tofu were delicious as always! The summer limited cold tofu was good, but personally, I prefer the hot yuba tofu. However, I was a bit disappointed because even though everyone around us got their desserts, we had to ask multiple times before ours finally arrived.

I visited this restaurant to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. The course menu "Ume no Hana" was centered around dishes made with tofu. The private room was spacious and comfortable, with a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. The Meoka tofu tasted like a dessert, while the Yuba tempura and Namafu dengaku were consistently delicious. The tofu shumai was just as tasty as I remembered, and also gentle on the body. They even provided a yellow chanchanko for us to wear, adding to the fun experience. The name "Risho no Mori" seems to be derived from the characters of Sen no Rikyu and Yosano Akiko, suggesting that visitors can also experience tea ceremonies and other local events. Since we went at night, those who visit during the day may have a different kind of enjoyment.

My son's birthday
I called in the morning to make a reservation. Managed to get a private room available! The atmosphere was a bit intimidating, but I've always wanted to go there. It's been a while since I had a meal that moved me. Everything was delicious! I want to go back to this restaurant again. I also want to try their lunch menu.

I made a reservation in Sakai for a special occasion and it was a stylish place located next to Toshiaki no Mori. The freshly made, pulled yuba (tofu skin) was delicious. It may take a bit of time, but the healthy yuba is guilt-free even if you eat a lot of it. For the main course, I chose the meat. They brought a hot lava stone for each person to cook the meat on, which was fun. The spacious restaurant is recommended for families as well. Thank you for the wonderful meal! ♡

A restaurant where you can enjoy creative kaiseki cuisine✨ Their specialty is the yuba you pull up yourself✨ It has a smooth texture like silk and a gentle sweetness, enhanced by dipping it in soy sauce and yuzu. The crab dumplings are a luxurious treat, made with plenty of flavorful snow crab mixed into fish paste. Personally, I particularly enjoyed the tea-steamed rice cake with mochi and the chewy nama-fu dengaku. The salmon and autumn vegetable seiro steamed dish, enjoyed with tofu sauce and yuzu pepper ponzu, was also delicious. The menu is full of seasonal ingredients, providing a satisfying experience✨ The calm atmosphere of the restaurant, with private tatami rooms and tables, is suitable for various occasions such as dates, anniversaries, and business dinners♪

I visited on Sunday. I couldn't choose a course with "lunch" in the name, so I chose the "Haru Ranman" course. Everything was delicious, but there was quite a lot of yuba, so I enjoyed tofu dishes for a while. I forgot to take a photo of the dessert, a steamed bun. The majority of the customers were elderly. It was quiet and the atmosphere was nice. Thank you for the meal.

I wanted to enjoy a luxurious meal and some leisure time, so I went to Umenohana. I ordered the Umenohana Zen set with Fukufuku tofu with an ankake sauce (4,800 yen excluding tax). Every dish that came out was based on tofu and absolutely delicious, but the Fukufuku tofu with mapo sauce made right there was the ultimate delicacy. I would definitely recommend it to others. Although I went during the day this time, the atmosphere becomes much more calm and sophisticated at night, so I would like to visit for dinner next time.

My close friend treated me to a meal. The deliciousness is multiplied by who you eat with rather than what you eat. The private room was well-prepared for COVID-19 measures. It was fun to make yuba by myself, and the healthy and delicious dishes left me completely satisfied. I chose the meat option for the course meal, either meat or fish prepared in the Nishikyo style. It was very delicious and a delightful time.

I received a plum blossom gift certificate for my birthday celebration! I invited my family and we had a meal together at this restaurant. I made a reservation online, so it was reassuring. The restaurant had a beautiful and luxurious entrance with night lighting, which put us in a good mood as we entered. Our reserved table was a traditional tatami room with a view of the illuminated garden in front, making it a lovely setting. The menu offered a choice of two course options to share between two people. We started with a toast with beer. I chose the Rikyu course for 3,850 yen, which included simmered abalone, grated nagaimo on sea cucumber intestines, seasonal sashimi, fried tofu, simmered duck, grilled fish, soup, pickles, red rice, and matcha pudding. My wife and daughter chose the Momiji course for 3,900 yen, which included yuba (tofu skin) that you pull up yourself to eat. Personally, I enjoyed the fried tofu and simmered duck the most. We also ordered some delicious deep-fried skewers as an additional dish. The restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere suitable for families, couples, and even formal occasions. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Located right next to Riso no Mori in Sakai. There is also a stylish STARBUCKS on the same premises. If you park in front of the store, you will receive a service ticket. My family and I used this restaurant and were served promptly when our tea ran out. The service was polite and we enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere is nice and I think it could be used for entertaining guests as well. The tea kaiseki menu is only available at this store, so be sure to try it. They also pay attention to the dishes, so you'll feel luxurious.

I came here for the first time! I used to frequent the restaurants in Hakuraku town, and when I was in Fukuoka, I would go almost every month! It's a beautiful restaurant, so you can relax and enjoy your time here! The food is not as good as before, but the attentive service and atmosphere make up for it! However, I noticed a discrepancy between the average score of other reviews and the restaurant's score. Hmm, I might sound a bit critical again (^^♪

Everything was delicious, but the lotus root manju was especially tasty. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm and I was able to enjoy my meal leisurely.

A restaurant with private rooms that is convenient even with a baby. The portion size of the dishes is a bit small, but it's worth a visit occasionally.

As you get older, enjoy a little bit of delicious food. Slowly eat while drinking delicious alcohol. This time, I had the autumn leaves course for 3900 yen. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered a tofu set with all-you-can-eat yuba! It was so much fun that I have never ordered anything else from this set. It's a place I want to come to occasionally. However, during the busy Obon season, the dishes kept coming and going, and at the checkout, despite there were several staff members, I was left waiting without being attended to. It was a bit disappointing as it took away from the enjoyment of the meal. It's a restaurant I like because of the food, so I hope they can improve the service to make it a better experience.

Today's lunch was delicious! I really enjoyed the refreshing Japanese cuisine. And for dessert, the strawberry soy milk parfait was amazing!
