I usually don't buy shortcake outside of convenience stores, but I fell in love with this one and had to buy it haha. The shortcake here is not too sweet, with a perfect balance of cream and sponge. It's a great choice! I love sweet things, but I don't like overly sweet treats, so this cake was perfect for me. If you're not a fan of overly sweet desserts, definitely give this a try! There are no seats, it's only for takeout, so make sure to let the staff know when you plan to eat it and enjoy it as soon as possible!

This day was a New Year's party, so we enjoyed sweet chocolates as a drink accompaniment. The chocolates were beautifully arranged in decorative boxes, which got everyone excited. As a chocolate lover, I was very happy with the set. Another treat we received was...it's hard to describe, but it's like a type of confection similar to a langues de chat, but a bit different. They were called "Loisdale" cakes (420 yen each). I spent a total of 907 yen. The cakes had rich cream and were a home run in terms of taste. They were so good! The packaging was excellent, as none of the cakes were crushed during my trip back to Koriyama from Tokyo. The company was founded in 1923, so they will soon celebrate their 100th anniversary. Eating the Loisdale cakes while sitting under the kotatsu filled me with motivation to work, live, and find happiness.

It was the first time eating dinner at my parents' house after the earthquake. I bought a birthday cake at Loysdall in Shinjuku Keio Department Store and brought it with me. I didn't make a reservation, so I had to choose from what was available. The cake was a bit small for 9 people to share. The birthday plate was a new type for me, where you can write your own message on a chocolate plate using edible ink transfer sheets. I wrote "HappySweetSixteen!" on it. It would be cute to have children write on the plate for their parents' birthdays. Although there are marzipan plates with pre-written messages, I still prefer the chocolate plate.
