I celebrated a woman who turned sixty, who was twenty years old forty years ago. We went to a restaurant on Saturday and had various dishes like bamboo shoots with tree buds and sashimi. I had just one cup of shochu, while my friend who turned sixty had several glasses of draft beer. It was delicious. The restaurant was not very busy, with only two other groups besides us, but the takeaway orders kept the staff busy. Thank you for the meal, see you again!

I went to Sasada Kousho in Nakasu after finding out that the oden shop was closed and feeling disappointed. It's the season when mackerel, or rather fish, becomes delicious, so I wanted to eat fresh mackerel, but they didn't have it. I ended up having boiled mackerel and my usual, conger eel as a snack, along with pickled radish, plum, and some Thai-style fried food. Everything was very delicious. I really like their Matsumae-style dish, but it's too much for one person, so maybe I'll get it as a souvenir next time. Thank you for the meal.

I haven't been able to go out much due to Corona, maybe for about six months or more? On my way back from a hostess club in Nakasu, I stopped by this restaurant. It seemed like they were busy or had limited options today. Anyway, I tried the abalone sashimi. While drinking shochu, I realized I was getting drunk, and the staff kindly smiled at me. When the renovation was completed, I was a bit hesitant to go out in the midst of the pandemic, but the other day I finally had to go to Nakasu and stopped by on the way back. I had my usual conger eel and drank shochu. On my way back, I had one piece of nigiri sushi and one piece of Matsumae sushi. I forgot to take a picture, but I will visit again when I go to Nakasu. After drinking and heading home, I went to Sasada Koshou, which had become temporarily closed for renovation as announced. The familiar sign that I knew was also removed. On February 19, 2020, I had a reservation for 3 people but one person couldn't make it due to a cold, so I cancelled. When I cancelled, I found out that the restaurant, Murazaki Suiji Kenkyujo, will be closed for renovations starting the day after tomorrow. I decided to secretly visit the restaurant alone. It seems that the management has changed to Mr. Kawaotaro, but the head chef was still there. However, I heard that he will retire after the renovation, which is a bit sad. I went to greet the head chef and enjoyed some fish dishes. As usual, I indulged in some grilled conger eel and a bit of sea urchin while sipping shochu. Then, I had the rest of the food delivered to a cabaret club. I wonder what I should do after the renovation?

I came to Kawasho-san today because my usual izakaya was closed. I had eel as a snack and sea bream sashimi, and Nishi-san was grilling seaweed, which smelled amazing. When I mentioned it, he gave me a piece. The crispy and fragrant seaweed was delicious. After that, I ordered takeout and went to another drinking place. Thank you for the meal. I will come again.
New information: Kawasho-san in Sasada will temporarily close on December 28th, but it will reopen at some point. The reason for the temporary closure is unknown.

I went to try out the Oden in Hakata out of curiosity, but it seemed to be closed so I ended up going into this sushi restaurant instead. It had a typical atmosphere and I casually went in and asked the old chef to make me something. I ended up having some sushi and sake. The sushi was made with fresh fish, but it was just the usual toppings, so I didn't expect it to cost 2,500 yen for two people. Sasada Kawasho is actually closing in December 2019, and it seems that the main store in Nishinakasu will also be closing. Maybe that's why I find myself going there often. This time, I came with my izakaya friends from near my home. Since none of us had experienced a revolving sushi restaurant before, we decided to go together with four people. We started with sashimi, had chawanmushi and various other dishes. For dessert, we had Shine Muscat and wasabi. It was a fun time. I wonder how many more times I can come here. I sent her a photo on LINE saying I was eating, and she replied asking if she could come. I was in Tenjin at the time and was surprised by her response, saying "Eee~" like Masuo-san. The lyrics of the song "Nagori Sushi" started playing in my mind. I ordered chawanmushi in advance and we all enjoyed it together. I felt like my feet were taking me to Kacchan's place. I came here because I wanted to eat matsutake mushroom doburo steamed dish this time. The doburo steamed dish was delicious, but the sprout onion sushi was quite unique, I've never seen ginkgo nuts in that green color before. It's called jade ginkgo, and it tastes like ginkgo nuts. The food was delicious, and I forgot to take pictures of some parts. We started with a snack of tea beans and beer, then had sashimi and moved on to shochu. The sushi was so good that we couldn't stop eating, so we ended up ordering some Matsue sushi to go. The sushi was great, but the woman I was with only ate the small eggplant sushi. On my way back after drinking, I happened to pass by the front of the store and was drawn in. I had a glass of shochu and an appetizer at the counter, and took home some Matsue sushi on my way out. Nishi-kun was energetic.
