Recently opened in the basement of the Funabashi Center Building, "Oumei" is a restaurant where you can fully enjoy seafood and meat cooked in various ways such as grilled, steamed, and hot pot. The first thing that catches your eye is the live fish tank, which raises expectations of being able to enjoy fresh seafood. The standout dish was the Yakan-yaki (western-style large size), filled with plenty of shellfish and shrimp, cooked in a steamed style with a hint of garlic. The aroma upon opening the lid was irresistible. The large, juicy, and delicious clams, mussels, and prawns were a luxurious treat, and despite the ample portion, the dish was devoured due to its deliciousness. Surprisingly, the price was only 3,980 yen (including tax) as part of the opening commemorative limited-time offer. The ingredients may vary depending on the day, so it is recommended to try it now. The teppanyaki was also delicious, with chicken and vegetables cooked in a large pot with a flavorful punch, making you crave for rice. Lastly, adding Chinese noodles to finish the meal, which turned into a delicious Yokohama-style ankake ramen. The side dishes such as fried chicken and potato salad were also tasty, and both my friend and I were very satisfied when we visited the restaurant together. It is conveniently located directly connected to Sakaisuji-Honmachi Station, making it easily accessible. We found an amazing restaurant. Be sure to check it out!

I came to the izakaya restaurant "Yakijo Nabe Dining Oumei" located in Chuo-Funabashi. They have live fish tanks, so the freshness is excellent. They offer oysters, clams, shrimp, crab, and even meat cooked in a yakijo nabe or kettle. They have a oyster all-you-can-eat for ¥4,500 and all-you-can-drink for ¥1,500 (2 hours), with courses starting from ¥2,500. The set I tried included a mini kettle set for ¥2,500 and all-you-can-drink for ¥1,500. The photos are all for two people. The set included: a three-item platter of namul-style dishes with leeks, bean sprouts, and cucumbers seasoned with sesame oil and salt; homemade potato salad with scallop tendons for added flavor and texture; a mini kettle grill with scallops, mussels, and abalone that smelled delicious; chicken salt plate grill with plenty of vegetables and chicken in a mildly spicy sauce; udon noodles as the finishing dish, which were chewy and delicious; and a rich yuzu sherbet for dessert. Overall, the food was great, especially the shellfish cooked in the kettle. I recommend trying it out at Oumei.

Received a prior notice of the arrival of live hairy crabs and made a reservation visit. They prepared a seat at the end as requested. Steamed live hairy crab, grilled oysters, Japanese-style grilled assorted seafood with abalone and clams, beer, cola, lemon sour from a specialty sake bar (mega size), Kikumasamune dry sake (cold). The grilled oysters were cooked on a table burner, and the scent of the sea gradually filled the air - irresistible. Once cooked, we squeezed lemon juice on top. The large oysters were juicy and delicious. The clams were served upside down, causing some of the tasty juices to spill out - a bit disappointing. The live hairy crab arrived whole and piping hot. We carefully cracked it open and savored every bite. It had been years since I last had one, and it was a dreamy experience. The taste was different from snow crabs but equally delicious. It was tasty even without any seasoning. The neighboring table ordered a hot and spicy pork kimchi dish that smelled amazing - I was curious about it. To finish, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary yuzu sorbet. And after we paid the bill, the manager came out and handed us a gift of "rice with clams and tea-infused pickles for two." It was a reservation bonus, apparently? I was overjoyed. Out of the four reserved tables during our visit, every table had customers enjoying the live hairy crabs. The manager and all the staff provided excellent service. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The set meal included a variety of dishes such as grilled seafood, homemade potato salad, mini pot-cooked dish, and dessert for a great deal of 2,500 yen. The pot-cooked dish was filled with plenty of clams, which were surprisingly large and provided a satisfying texture when steamed. The grilled dish had a slightly spicy and sweet flavor with garlic and tender meat. The udon noodles served at the end paired well with the sauce and were excellent.

After exiting Sakaisuji Hommachi Station's ticket gate, it's just a 30-second walk. You don't have to go outside so you won't get hot or wet in the rain. They offer Western-style seafood and kamameshi. They cook the seafood after you order, taking it out fresh from the fish tank. We had 15 mussels and 9 assorted other shellfish (including 3 abalones!). The pasta made with the leftover broth in the kettle after eating the shellfish was delicious. You can also choose from dishes like Chinese noodles and udon. The teppanyaki with pork and vegetables in a rich miso sauce was amazing when you lifted the lid, the aroma of miso filled the air and you couldn't stop eating. The boiled chicken with yuzu pepper sesame sauce and crispy fried nagaimo were perfect beer snacks. We ended with a complimentary sherbet that was very refreshing. I can't wait to go back for the all-you-can-eat oyster kamameshi for 120 minutes!

At the famous restaurant on the 2nd floor of Funaba Center Building in Sakaisuji Hommachi, they serve steamed oysters in a pot with seafood. I used to wonder what makes steamed oysters different from regular grilled ones, but when I opened an oyster the size of my hand, I realized my mistake. Steaming keeps the oyster moist and tender, unlike when grilled. The oysters were plump and juicy. I ordered a medium size (1kg) for two people, but I regret not getting the large size (1.5kg). This place is a must-visit for oyster lovers!

Take them out of the pot, open the shells boldly, and eat them. The oysters with a great eating experience are not only large in size but also delicious in taste. The M size has a sufficient volume. The additional abalone and hamaguri we ordered were also packed with umami, and we re-recognized the deliciousness of the pot-roasted dishes! Recommended for those who want to eat a lot of delicious shellfish. They also serve lunch!

Opened in May at B2 of Funamachi Center Building 2, "Yakimushi Pot Dining Oumei - Unmei" offers a set meal for 1200 yen. The set includes scallop and clam rice, clam soup, horse mackerel fry, and potato salad. The horse mackerel fry was delicious with thick meat. The potato salad with scallops was my favorite. The scallop rice and clam soup were a bit lightly seasoned.

Bamba Center Building 2nd floor B2. Direct access from the subway. Not too hot, no stress. The restaurant has only spacious table seats. Purchase a ticket at the entrance ticket machine. ⚫︎ Whistle meal: clam rice, clam soup, horse mackerel fry, homemade potato salad, pickles. (The potato salad contains scallops) I upgraded to a large portion of clam rice for an additional 150 yen. The piping hot horse mackerel fry comes with two pieces and tartar sauce. The homemade potato salad with scallops has a nice texture from the carrots. The clam soup is served in a large bowl filled with plenty of clams - about one pack's worth. It's not clear soup or miso soup, but rather a light flavor. The clam rice is not in a regular bowl, but it's piled high! It's filled with scallops and clams everywhere you look! It's so packed with seafood that you wonder if it's okay to have so much. It has a light flavor, so you can keep eating without getting tired until the end. I felt so happy to eat so many clams from lunchtime. The clam rice was even more abundant than it looked, and I felt a bit overwhelmed halfway through. On a side note, after some foreign visitors stopped in front of the restaurant, I overheard a young staff member asking the kitchen, "What is clam in English?" "And how about clam rice?" It was nice to see their eagerness to learn. I hope they can attract customers in English next time. I visited a nice-looking restaurant that opened in the No. 2 building of the Funabashi Center Building ☺️ It's called Yakinamabe Dining Oumei! The restaurant opened at the end of May this year. As the name suggests, it is a seafood restaurant where you can enjoy fresh oysters, abalone, shrimp, crab, etc., grilled or steamed. It is located in the Funabashi Center Building No. 2, next to the izakaya-lined No. 3 building, which tends to be overlooked, but I highly recommend checking it out. This time, I tried the following items: Manager's choice Yakan-yaki set (for 1 person) 2500 yen Namul 3 types platter Homemade potato salad with scallops Chef's special Yakan-yaki Finishing dish (1 serving of noodles) Spicy pork kimchi (for 2 people) 2980 yen First, I enjoyed the Namul platter with a highball, followed by the appearance of the potato salad with scallops, which I really liked because of the scallops and the generous amount of mayonnaise. The Yakan-yaki is prepared on the table with a table IH, and the aroma is incredibly appetizing. When I opened it up, it was luxurious beyond belief. Large oysters, mussels, abalone, and clams were packed inside. The oysters, in particular, were not small and had a satisfying taste. The broth that came out of this dish was also incredibly delicious. For the finishing dish, I had pasta, and it was an explosion of flavors from the sea. I was extremely satisfied and couldn't ask for more. The prices for alcohol at the Funabashi Center Building may be a bit high, but starting from August, you can add all-you-can-drink to your course, so everyone, hurry up and enjoy delicious seafood and pork kimchi with plenty of drinks! 🍻笑

The specialty "Yakan-yaki" is a luxurious dish with plenty of ingredients such as oysters, scallops, abalone, and prawns, which can be customized with additional seafood based on your preferences and group size. They also serve lunch, offering set meals, curry, bibimbap, and more. Today, I ordered the meat-based "Tohanyaki" set along with a set recommended by the chef, which included a variety of dishes like homemade potato salad with scallops and a Western-style yakan-yaki. The meal was accompanied by a refreshing cucumber, bean sprout, and green onion namul, and we started with a toast with draft beer. The yakan-yaki was filled with abalone, oysters, scallops, clams, and mussels, all cooked to perfection. The oysters were particularly delicious, with a rich and creamy flavor. The Tohanyaki included chicken wings, neck meat, and thighs with vegetables, seasoned with a slightly spicy and sweet sauce, enhanced by garlic. Recently opened on the basement floor of the Senba Center Building 2nd building. I was curious since the interior construction phase. In front of the shop, you can see a tank filled with many clams. Purchased a meal ticket at the ticket machine. The "Awanarime Set Meal" that I saw in a Senba Building net news was priced at 1200 yen, up from 980 yen. As usual, I was hesitating, but the female staff in the hall quickly assisted me. The restaurant is quite spacious. When the Awanarime Set Meal arrived, I couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow♡". There is a large amount of clam soup with plump, firm clams. The clam rice also contains clams and baby scallops. It has a mild flavor that doesn't interfere with the taste of the side dishes. The portion is moderate. The taste is so delicious that you would want to have a larger bowl. Additionally, the potato salad also contains clam meat. This set meal is a delight for clam lovers. With two pieces of fried horse mackerel and tartar sauce, the satisfaction level is high. Comes with salad and pickles. I was a bit hesitant about the 1200 yen set meal, but considering the content, it's not bad. I received assistance from the kind staff and also got a shop card. There are various lunch menu options for under 1000 yen, so it seems suitable for regular use. When you feel like treating yourself a little, go for the Awanarime Set Meal.

I was interested in this restaurant from Instagram and decided to visit for the first time. The hairy crab and Ise shrimp offer great value for money, so it's worth making a reservation in advance. I reserved the hairy crab this time, and its sweetness was so strong that it was delicious even eaten as is. The teppanyaki comes in servings for two, and the portion was so generous that we couldn't finish it all. It would be nice if they offered smaller portions for female customers, so I deducted some points for that. The restaurant is conveniently located right by Sakaisuji Hommachi Station, making it easy to access without being affected by the weather. I'm looking forward to going back next time.

I recently visited a restaurant that I had been curious about, which specializes in steamed dishes using a kettle. The menu items I ordered were all delicious! The shellfish was all a good size and very satisfying to eat. I also got a free serving of potato salad by following them on Instagram, and it was also very tasty! I thought it would be a small portion, but it was a good amount, which made me happy. The ice cream at the end was like a hidden menu item, and a friend who knew about it ordered it for us, so we got it as a service, which made us feel like we got a good deal! There were many appetizing lunch menu options as well, so I would like to come back for lunch next time. The wall art looked hand-drawn and was really impressive! Apparently, there is a hidden heart somewhere in the painting, so if you visit, please try to find it!

At night, the restaurant seems to focus on shellfish dishes. I entered and saw tanks with live shellfish. Apart from fried chicken set meals, the menu also includes curry and salad bowls. I ordered the popular set meal which came with shellfish rice, shellfish soup, chicken thigh karaage, and potato salad. I was able to use QR code payment through pre-order, but it was slow so I ended up paying with the help of the staff. It seemed like it could be challenging during busy lunch hours. The shellfish soup was light and not as salty as I expected. The chicken karaage and shellfish rice were also lightly seasoned, which I personally enjoyed. The overall portion size might be a bit small, so men might prefer the larger size option. The homemade potato salad had scallops in it, which added a nice texture and flavor.

I had the Manager's Special Kamameshi Set (available for two people or more) at this restaurant. As I was enjoying the assorted namul and homemade potato salad with a salt lemon sour, the Manager's Special Western-style Kamameshi was served. The kamameshi contained four types of fresh shellfish like oysters and scallops. Squeezing some lemon over them, I was impressed by how delicious each shellfish was. For the finishing touch, I could choose between pasta, udon, or Chinese noodles, and I opted for pasta. The staff used the rich broth from the shellfish in the kamameshi to make the pasta, which was then mixed with butter. The pasta had absorbed the flavorful broth, creating a gentle and delightful taste that made me feel happy. The yuzu sherbet dessert was also refreshing with a strong yuzu flavor. Every dish was delicious, and I left feeling completely satisfied. When I finished paying, the Manager kindly gave me a hot shellfish rice and a golden dashi tea pickling set as a souvenir. The shellfish rice had a delicious flavor from the shellfish broth soaking into the rice. I had a wonderful time enjoying the delicious food and the excellent service from the staff and Manager. I was brought here by a friend who loves trying new openings. The restaurant is called "Yakijou Nabe Dining", which got me curious. I thought it was a udon shop from Fukuoka because of the big steaming pot (laughs). The seafood dishes like scallops, shrimp, fried chicken, and noodles all had a delicious aroma and tasted great.
