I decided to go to this place because they had Sanratanmen. The parking lot was spacious but crowded, and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was lively. There were some people waiting, but since the previous customers preferred a table, I was seated at a raised seating area for one person. The menu had a lot of options, with the option to add extra noodles for 100 yen, and a reasonable price of 450 yen for almond tofu parfait. The hot and sour soup noodles had plenty of shrimp and the pork was tender and delicious. The popularity of this place is definitely due to the tasty food. The service was also very good! The sweet and sour pork has plenty of meat chunks, and the fried chicken comes in large sizes with 2 pieces, satisfying both in taste and portion size.

It's 1:30 in the afternoon, past lunchtime. I searched on Tabelog as usual. I didn't know about this place because it's not along the main road. There are plenty of parking spaces. Inside the restaurant, there are regular tables and raised tatami seating. Even though it's past lunchtime, there are still many customers. It's a popular place. I was intrigued by the daily special posted at the entrance, but I ordered the fried chicken set meal for 850 yen. I like that you can choose a main dish in addition to the fried chicken! The main dish comes in a half size. This time, I chose sweet and sour pork. The staff provided casual yet good service, leaving a positive impression. When the set meal was served, it looked delicious! The fried chicken comes in a large size with two pieces of thigh meat that are tender. Personally, I felt the flavor was a bit light, so I wished there was mayonnaise! The sweet and sour pork, despite being a half portion, had plenty of meat. Just this alone could go well with a bowl of rice. The soup was also tasty with a good balance of seasoning. The salad tasted good as well, maybe because I liked the dressing. They can serve a generous amount of rice. Extra rice is free, but a large serving is charged extra. I was fully satisfied. With a drink included, 850 yen is a great deal! Next time, I'll try the fried chicken ramen set or the fried chicken set with pork and mustard stir-fry.

It's lunchtime in Tomiokacho, and since it's not a place I visit often, there are plenty of unvisited restaurants to choose from. After some hesitation, I decided to try "Chinese Cuisine Goyozan." It's around 1:30 pm, and there are only three groups of customers, totaling five people. I looked at the menu and decided to order the "Tantanmen @750." It was served in 8 minutes. The spiciness was moderate, not too much for kids but not spicy enough for spice lovers. I added some chili pepper and black pepper from the table, and it improved the flavor. The ingredients included bean sprouts, onions, Chinese cabbage, and komatsuna. The broth was quite salty, almost undrinkable for those over 40. The noodles were medium-thick and slightly soft, and the vegetables were cooked just right. I wasn't in the mood for rice, but it seemed like this place is more focused on set meals. Looking around, most customers had ordered set meals. Next time, I'll try the mapo tofu. Maybe Chinese food tends to be high in salt content, especially in a seaside town like this. The restaurant seems to be operated by a social welfare corporation, and the service was good. Thank you for the meal.

Fried rice set meal (with roasted pork) for 850 yen. I went to Goyosan in Hidaka Town for dinner. It was Saturday evening, and although there was no line, the place was busy with customers coming and going. You can choose from fried rice with shrimp, roasted pork, pork belly, or crab. It took about 10 minutes for the order to arrive. The rice was soft but not greasy, with a nice texture. The set meal includes salad, pickled vegetables, and soup, making it a well-balanced meal. I came here craving fried rice, but the Chinese restaurant has a wide variety of menu options that can make it hard to decide.

The last time I went to eat was five years ago for grass cutting, so we visited the graves early. Since I have night shifts during Obon, my mother (using a sickle) and husband (using a scythe) formed a diverse grass cutting team. After eating at Grandma's grave and the graves of three cats, my mother said, "By the way, there was a ramen place near the funeral we attended. Do you want to go there?" We hadn't attended any relatives' funerals, but there are few restaurants in Tomokawa, so I thought it might be about that place. And indeed, it was Goyosan. My mother and husband had seafood an sauce yakisoba for 1200 yen each, and I had tantanmen for 750 yen. Beer cost 450 yen. In July, I was into the tantanmen at Gyoza no Ohsho, so I compared the two. Oh, looking at my own review, it says the fried chicken was delicious! What a mistake. Well, the flavor was a bit bland and lacking in something. All three of us agreed on that. You could say it was a gentle flavor. That day, they were selling grilled chicken skewers outside. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice.

Visited Goyosan in early February 2020, originally planning to have yakiniku for lunch but the intended restaurant was unexpectedly closed. Feeling a strong craving for beef ribs and offal, I headed to another restaurant 20 kilometers away, only to find out they had stopped serving lunch. It was already past 1:30 pm, so I had to give up on yakiniku and stumbled upon "Chinese Cuisine Goyozan." This restaurant is operated by the social welfare corporation Aikokukai, and all the staff members were impressively polite. Although they had some affordable one-coin options on the menu, I decided to order the ramen and half-fried rice set. The ramen had a salt flavor, and I chose pork belly for the fried rice. Both dishes had a gentle seasoning, with the pork belly in the fried rice and ramen toppings providing a solid taste. I felt like it could have used a bit more depth in flavor, but considering that the operation is run by a social welfare corporation and the staff members are likely related to it, the kindness of the staff probably reflected in the taste. The ramen seemed to have more personality than just chicken broth!

Before heading to Bira-tori Onsen, my wife and I stopped here for lunch. I wonder if it's going to be crowded? There was only one other couple there. We shared the AKY and fried rice. Both dishes were light in flavor and low in salt. The AKY had lots of ingredients and was very filling! Was it delicious or not? My wife said the soup was better than the fried rice. This is the only Chinese restaurant around here, so maybe that's why it's popular. The Five-Ingredient Ankake Yakisoba was 850 yen, and the fried rice set was also 850 yen. Thank you for the meal!

The Chinese restaurant serves delicious and large portions of fried chicken. The samosa-like fried dish was especially tasty, even though I usually don't like corn, it was delicious. All the dishes are beautifully presented and the banquet menus are always different and creative. This is my favorite place for fried chicken in Hidaka area. I sometimes crave it so much that I have to go there. The fried chicken is big, crispy, flavorful, and delicious! Thank you for the meal!

The "Ankake Yakisoba with Five Ingredients" (900 yen including tax) is packed with plenty of ingredients such as bean sprouts, onions, wood ear mushrooms, shrimp, pork belly, carrots, Chinese cabbage, and quail eggs. Each ingredient is large in size and the dish is very filling.

The fried chicken and mixed vegetable stir-fry set meal (850 yen including tax) exceeded my expectations in size, with a generous portion. It also comes with a drink, making it a great value. The taste was delicious, and I would definitely like to visit again.

Lunch is a great deal. The fried chicken with sweet vinegar sauce is delicious.

The indulgent lunch with two desserts, almond jelly and ice cream, along with the mapo tofu, is just the right level of spiciness and delicious!
