A shop located just off a side street from Dotombori Higashi in Osaka. It's located near a crossroads behind Dotombori WINS. It used to be an oden shop that I liked, but it changed to a teppanyaki izakaya in June. It started as a members-only place, but they have since stopped the membership system. It's casual, easy to make friends with other customers, the portion sizes are generous, and it's perfect for having a beer and filling your stomach. There are many regular customers, but it's easy to make friends with anyone, so I recommend it for those who want to experience the atmosphere of Osaka. Entrance was a complete introduction, and the sign said it was a membership system but it seemed to have disappeared recently, so I entered (with an introducer). The menu notes still said it was a complete introduction system, but... It's a teppanyaki restaurant specializing in takoyaki and yakisoba, with bottled beer priced at 500 yen for a medium bottle, which is cheap and reassuring. Ordered potato salad and tonpei-yaki. The potato salad was a type with extra steps added to the chunky potato salad from a wholesale store, a bit on the expensive side. The tonpei-yaki was a type with cabbage, packed with thin pork slices, very voluminous and delicious, highly recommended!! There are no high-end menu items, so it's a reassuring teppanyaki restaurant to enter.
