I went around 2 pm and it was calm before it got crowded. I ordered a Manuchai, which was on the sweet side! They have a variety of goods from can badges to keychains and bags, making it a paradise for cafe lovers. They also have a vending machine outside the shop, so you can buy coffee even when the shop is closed, which is refreshing!

In Haruyoshi, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, there is a favorite cafe of mine. The staff (possibly the owner) provides excellent customer service. Despite its compact size, the interior is calm and suitable for a break. In addition to coffee, there is a wide variety of menu items such as soft serve ice cream, cookies, and cheesecake. Many regular customers visit, as well as people who use the cafe for takeout.

On the third day in Fukuoka, I started my day at Morning Coffee. I met up with a friend at Manu Coffee in Haruyoshi to pick up some items I had asked them to buy for me. Manu Coffee is a stylish cafe with a cute yellow facade and a brick exterior. They have a coffee bean vending machine by the entrance, so you can enjoy their coffee 24 hours a day. The cafe offers a cozy atmosphere with a rustic feel, featuring wooden furniture and a few small low tables. I ordered the Vanilla Wasanbon Latte, which had a gentle sweetness from the Wasanbon sugar and a nice balance of bitterness from the espresso mixed with milk. I also tried the banana shake, which was rich and delicious. I couldn't resist buying some of their cute packaged biscuits, which had a strong buttery aroma and a crumbly texture that paired well with the coffee. The rain that started when I arrived had stopped by the time I left. It was great catching up with my friend, chatting about Fukuoka's curry and their plans to buy a new car. We had a wonderful time, and I look forward to meeting up for a meal next time I visit Fukuoka! I stopped by this shop on a whim and ended up eating too much. I had lemonade for the first time and it was very refreshing and delicious. Finally, my stomach settled down here, so I went on to eat ramen later. Thank you for the meal!

I had checked out a few cafes I wanted to visit before my trip, but one place I absolutely had to go was Manu-san! There are several locations, and the one I visited was different from the one I had originally researched, but a local friend took me there! The interior is small but very cute with adorable chairs and tables! They had a variety of latte options, making it hard to choose. The cups were also super cute! I enjoyed a delicious Manu Latte! I thought they might not have many customers late at night, but the place was almost full with people coming in for takeout as well. If there was a cafe like this near my home, it would be amazing. It was a fun experience. I definitely want to go back!

It is located on a corner just a 4-5 minute walk from the Subway Watanabe-dori Station. The building is yellow, so it's easy to spot. I came here for coffee after having lunch at SAI, which is very close by. It's convenient to have a large menu displayed outside. I ordered a Caramel Latte for 560 yen. The drink was a bit different from the photo on the menu. I was expecting caramel sauce, but instead, there were caramel sugar-like granules in it. I love caramel, so it was a bit disappointing. The latte ordered by my friend also seemed different from the menu. Luckily, we were able to find a table and have a leisurely chat. They also offer takeout and sell miscellaneous goods. Thank you for the meal.

I was looking at the menu in front of the shop when a friendly staff member greeted me and I ended up entering. I ordered an FPC Espresso Ice Cream. The FPC coffee allows you to choose the beans available at that time. This time, I selected a refreshing coffee with raspberry and other flavors mixed in. While waiting, I enjoyed the ice cream. The combination of sweet vanilla ice cream with a hint of bitterness from the espresso was delicious. The generous amount of espresso tasted great with the sweet vanilla and caramel topping. The balance of the acidic FPC coffee added to the experience. Despite the compact size of the shop, it had a unique and relaxing atmosphere. It was always bustling with young people as it is open until midnight. The shop is apparently famous in Fukuoka, and they collaborate with other places like Niwaka Senbei and curry shop GARAM. The menu is extensive, and the staff kindly explained about the shop and menu. I recommend everyone to visit when you have the chance.

Late at night, I visited this cafe in search of a cup of coffee. It was past 9 PM and the place was full. The age group seemed to be around 20-30 years old. Luckily, there was one empty seat at the counter where I could sit. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the orange pop sign for "Nicaraguan COE#12" coffee beans, so I ordered a drink with the same name. The drink was served in two stacked takeout cups. It had flavors of cherry, grape, blackcurrant, wine, and bright acidity. As it cooled down, it became clearer and more fruity and sweet. While enjoying this blissful moment, I couldn't help but notice the soft serve ice cream. It was called "HARUYOSHI SOFTCREAM," a special blend of espresso and DAIMYO SOFTCREAM supervised by a cafe in Fukuoka. I had it plain without any toppings. The slightly firm soft serve had a hint of coffee flavor, which intensified as it melted, giving a taste similar to a cafe latte. I definitely want to visit Manu Coffee for their whale blend next time.

The place was very stylish and trendy! The second floor room was calming with tatami mats to sit on. They had plastic dividers for COVID-19 prevention. The only thing that bothered me a bit was the sound of the coffee machine occasionally echoing upstairs.

This time, I visited Manu Coffee Haruyoshi in Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City. I had been interested in this shop for a while and finally got to go. I had their morning coffee, which was served with soft serve ice cream, toast, and pizza also available. I ordered the Manu Mocha Colombia, which is recommended as their top quality coffee. The aroma of the Colombian beans was delightful. The taste had a slight acidity and a decent richness. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Manu Coffee Haruyoshi Store
Located in Fukuoka City, in the Minami-Tenjin area, Manu Coffee is a local cafe with several locations in the city. They offer original coffee blends, coffee bean sales, and both takeout and dine-in options. Currently, they are operating with shortened hours for takeout only due to the state of emergency. Their website states that they are open from 10 am to 6 pm in May. This review is from July 2019 when I visited. The cafe is situated in a quaint old building tucked away in a corner of a residential area just off Watanabe Street. You order at the counter on the first floor (payment upfront), and there are compact seating areas on the second and third floors for dine-in, with the latter allowing smoking. They offer a variety of 24 coffees, with lattes being a popular choice, priced between 500 and 600 yen. They also have shakes, juices, and alcoholic beverages. I ordered the "Byakudan" (Ginger Latte) in ice, as I had enjoyed it previously at their Yanagibashi store. However, I found the hot version to be better. The ginger gives a refreshing kick, but the flavor is a bit diluted. I remember the latte art being interesting when I had it hot. The interior has a quirky and avant-garde vibe typical of Manu Coffee, similar to their stores in Otemon and Yanagibashi. It makes you want to linger. With Fukuoka Prefecture's state of emergency possibly being lifted soon, there is still some uncertainty. Manu Coffee Haruyoshi Store is a 5-minute walk from both Watanabe Street and Tenjin Minami subway stations. They are open from 10 am to 3 am (please check their official website for current hours due to the shortened operation). There is no parking available, but there are paid parking lots nearby.

The closest neighbor, but my first visit here. It's like that, right? It's so close that I always put off going. I felt like having coffee and a little something sweet. And then I saw they have soft serve ice cream! So happy! I ordered a caramel latte frappe. It was delicious with just the right amount of sweetness! Even though I was already full, I ended up ordering toast too (laughs). The cafe latte is definitely delicious. The art is also great. I'll definitely be stopping by here more often from now on!

After eating, I felt like having coffee, so I decided to get takeout (*´ー`*)♪ When I entered the shop, the nice aroma of coffee greeted me (//∇//). The tables and cups inside the shop were cute and stylish. Since I'm not very knowledgeable about coffee, I hesitated while choosing from the many options on the menu, but I ended up ordering the "Take Five". The menu had detailed descriptions, and if you tell the staff about your mood at the moment, they will recommend something for you, so you can enjoy choosing. The illustrations on the takeout cups were also cute! It seems like they are open until late at night... I'm envious that there is no such shop in Kokura! Next time, I definitely want to relax and enjoy my coffee inside the shop (*^^*) Thank you for the meal.

・I received the Mogwai (550 yen) and it was a taste that I'm not really fond of. I think next time I will try something different.
・I used to frequent this place a lot back when I lived in Fukuoka, but it's been a really long time since I last visited. It's a bit cramped for nomad use, but it's a nice cafe where you can chat with friends or tinker with your phone at a leisurely pace. I noticed that they now have a 3rd floor, and the smoking area is located there. On the 3rd floor, there are two tables for 3 to 4 people and a counter, so if you manage to get a table, you're lucky, but it's a bit tough to spread out a laptop at the counter. The customers seemed more like people who came for a chat rather than nomad users, and the place was lively with such customers. Indeed, it takes a bit of courage to sit alone with a laptop in such a setting, so it might be better to go during quieter times. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived at Sushida Kao a little early, so I decided to have tea nearby. When I ordered a Manulatte for 540 yen, I was surprised to learn that this shop also creates latte art right in front of you. The staff mentioned that the previous shop I visited also did latte art right in front of you, so it seems like a coincidence that I ended up visiting two shops in a row that do that. This shop is not as spacious as the previous one, with about five groups of customers inside, but it had a cozy atmosphere. The total came to 540 yen. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Manu Coffee Haruyoshi shop in the morning. They have a wide variety of drinks, so it was hard to decide which one to choose. The atmosphere inside the shop was nice, with a stylish feel like being in Hawaii or a tropical country. The staff were friendly and the drink I chose was delicious. I went for something sweet this time. Thank you for the meal!

I took a cocoa break at Manu Coffee in Haruyoshi, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City. The shop is open until 3 am, so even after overtime, you can easily go shopping. The shop is always crowded with customers at any time, but inside, time seems to flow slowly and peacefully.
