When I visited the expo, I ordered the beef tongue rice bowl. With the first bite, I was amazed by its deliciousness. The beef tongue was tender and perfectly cooked. Especially, the salt sauce enhanced the flavor wonderfully. The harmony of sweetness and aroma was unforgettable, spreading a delicious taste in my mouth. It paired excellently with the rice, and I felt satisfied after finishing a bowl. Moreover, the atmosphere of the restaurant was fantastic, and the staff's service was warm, creating a pleasant dining environment. Along with exploring the expo, enjoying the local delicious cuisine was a wonderful experience. For those who love beef tongue rice bowls, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. I look forward to revisiting.

I have known about Sendai, work, and Gyutan at Rikyu for 25 years. Gyutan is a specialty in Sendai, but at that time, I was told by a bus guide that Sendai-produced Gyutan is hardly served. Nevertheless, when I had a meal in Sendai with free rice, I was impressed by the Gyutan at Rikyu. Now, there are stores popping up everywhere, even at the Osaka Station Marche. I remember lining up to eat there. The closest one now is here, inside Expo City. I came to Zeppio to buy a bat and glove for my nephew's birthday, played catch in the park, and then went to the food court where we could each eat what we liked. My nephew had Zaru Udon at the udon shop, my husband had tsukemen, and I had Gyutan at Rikyu. There were many bowl options ranging from 990 yen, but I chose the classic one with 6 slices of Gyutan for 1,760 yen. It was delicious with tail soup, barley rice, and grated yam.

I went shopping and decided to eat at the Expo City for the first time in a while. I spent 10 minutes deciding what to eat at the 3rd floor food court (indecisive). I finally chose the beef tongue from Rikyu-san! I ordered the beef tongue set with 3 pieces and 6 cuts, and also ordered the Nagatsu fried chicken from another shop. Surprisingly, when I lined up the set meal and fried chicken, I was surprised by the amount of food f(^_^; I managed to finish it. The beef tongue from Rikyu-san was delicious as expected. I also visit Rikyu-san at Tokyo Station and often buy bento boxes to eat on the Shinkansen. Eating beef tongue and fried chicken made my stomach full, but I barely finished it ('ε'*) Freshly made food is definitely more delicious than bento boxes. If I encounter this restaurant again, I would love to go back.

I decided to have dinner before buying groceries at KALDI. I usually eat at the food court, but this time I went to "Rikyu-san" for the nostalgic taste. It had been years since I last visited, and I was surprised to find out that it had opened in EXPOCITY, which is the opposite direction. Of course, the taste was just like the "nostalgic taste" I remembered. We ordered the Imo-ni set (including gyutan, karashi-zuke, imo-ni, and yam rice) and drinks. The gyutan set we had as a couple was truly a special taste. I want to bring my parents next time!

Japan's largest large-scale complex facility "Lalaport EXPOCITY Volume 4" 1-8 Food Court. Entered on Monday at 12:30 on a weekday. Customers wait in line for about 5-10 minutes. For my daughter, I ordered the Kids' Set for 864 yen including tax, which comes with orange juice, a kids' curry set, or a kids' hamburger set. I chose the curry set. Overall, the food was left uneaten, so I tried the shumai, which was just okay at the food court level. Thank you for the meal.

Sendai could be considered my second hometown. Beef tongue is not so much a commoner's food as it is a special dish served to guests, a delicacy for special occasions. And in Sendai, when it comes to beef tongue, there's a place called Rikyu that is said to rival or even surpass Taisho, Kisuke, and Date. I knew they had a shop in Umeda and there was always a long line, but I never expected to find them in a shopping mall in Suita! The beef tongue is thickly sliced with a nostalgic, salty flavor. The set includes oxtail soup, barley rice, grated yam, and pickles. The food court lacks atmosphere and the prices may seem a bit high for what you get, but the taste is top-notch. It's great to be able to enjoy Sendai's symbol so easily in Kansai!

The set meal in the photo makes you feel the taste of beef tongue and is the most delicious.

The restaurant in Expocity with beef tongue dishes. The service was good. I ordered the Beef Tongue Curry M for 972 yen, which came with salad and pickles. The curry had a large piece of butter on top, which didn't really seem to go well with the curry. The curry itself had plenty of beef chunks and was decent for the price.

Because it's a food court, the food is cheap and not very tasty... I wish they would create a set with higher quality items and raise the price, and also offer delicious options.

The food court is good overall, but the prices are on the higher side. It's not really suitable for a calm and relaxed meal at this price. However, if you're looking to eat out with a group and have a good time, it's delicious and worth it. They also occasionally have lucky bags available.
