※Due to the ongoing spread of the Omicron variant of the new coronavirus, I will first provide information on the takeout menu! Please refer to the menu in the photo for details. The Omicron variant is known for spreading from asymptomatic individuals, and its symptoms are similar to a cold, making it difficult to distinguish between a cold and a coronavirus infection without testing, so please be careful everyone (^^;) Until the spread of the Omicron variant subsides, I plan to increase my use of takeout by making phone reservations and then picking up bento boxes to avoid dining in. I will refrain from dining out with multiple people, but I will check my health condition and temperature on the day of dining out at lunchtime before going out alone. Now, let's move on to the main topic of this food review. This time, I was guided to a semi-private room for the first time. Dining alone and wanting to take lots of photos for my review, I was very grateful for this opportunity. Being able to eat and drink without worrying about others' eyes is really calming~♪ This time, I reserved a course for 3000 yen, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that new menu items had been added, making the 3000 yen all-you-can-eat and drink course even more cost-effective! I remember that when I first visited in October last year, the 3000 yen all-you-can-eat course did not include beef tongue, so I chose the 3500 yen course for women (4000 yen for men) that included beef tongue and wagyu. However, this time, the 3000 yen course included new menu items such as thinly sliced beef tongue with salted lemon dressing, tender red meat loin (soy sauce), and tender zabuton (soy sauce). It's amazing that you can enjoy beef tongue in this price range all-you-can-eat! Moreover, the sagari included in the courses over 3000 yen is more delicious than the sagari at other all-you-can-eat restaurants♪ I also enjoyed the main dishes of sagari, misuji, toro, and pork tongue this time. I really like the pork tongue and toro at Tonkyu. The misuji is delicious too, and it's easy to grill because it has a certain thickness♪ The thinly sliced beef tongue with salted lemon dressing was quite tasty, but I personally prefer beef tongue without dressing, so I thought I would choose the course for 3500 yen for women (4000 yen for men) that includes beef tongue and wagyu when I want to eat beef tongue. (Note) The all-you-can-drink included in Tonkyu's 2000 yen, 3000 yen, 4000 yen (3500 yen for women) all-you-can-eat courses is unlimited soft drinks. The tender zabuton is marinated in soy sauce, but when I tried it without the sauce, it wasn't heavily seasoned, so I enjoyed it by adding a little of my favorite miso sauce. For dessert, the soft serve ice cream here is sweet, but the gelato is less sweet. If you want something refreshing after eating grilled meat, I recommend the gelato (Uji matcha)♪ The sesame dumplings were delicious, but the filling inside was just normal sweet bean paste. I personally prefer sesame paste in sesame dumplings, so I was a little disappointed. As closing time approached at 3 p.m., I reached the last order time, and since I have a policy of not leaving any food behind in all-you-can-eat courses, I hurried to finish eating. However, the waitress who brought me the dessert I ordered last said, "It's still okay, so please take your time to enjoy it (^^)" which made me happy. This is the first time I have been told this in a time-limited all-you-can-eat course! This was a divine service. The staff here are kind and friendly, not rushing, so the customer service is pleasant, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is comfortably relaxed.
