It's a classic choice, but it's reliable! This time, there was a rare chocolate roll cake, so I bought it right away. It was surprisingly delicious, with a good balance of the cake and the filling. They don't sell a lot of them, so they tend to sell out quickly. Sorry, I forgot to take a picture. By the way, every time you visit, there's always a little something nice as a service.

It was a spring-like package with a white chocolate-filled cherry blossom-scented langues de chat. The can is cute and round, with the same design as the langues de chat. It comes with a box, so you can keep the can clean. The thick box is also luxurious with the same design.

I have always loved Cigars. I don't usually buy them myself, I mostly receive them as gifts, but they are always delicious and reliable. With Valentine's Day approaching, I found some chocolate cigars and decided to buy them. The leaflet mentioned that they are made with "Callebaut" chocolate from Belgium. There are two types: "Milk" and "Semi-Sweet", each with 3 pieces. The Milk one is a light brown color with a typical chocolate sweetness. The Semi-Sweet one is a dark brown with a hint of bitterness, quite different from a regular cigar. I sometimes buy limited edition items from other shops, but it's hard to find something that surpasses the deliciousness of the classic cigars. The value of the classic ones is truly something special...

The last item I procured at Ginza Mitsukoshi is the long-lasting Yoku Moku. "Yoku Moku * Cigare au Matcha" 864 yen
Limited-time product ☆
The dough, made with plenty of butter and mixed with matcha, is baked and rolled up, with matcha chocolate stuffed inside. Please enjoy the elegant overlapping of the rich aroma of matcha and butter in Cigare.
- Excerpt from the leaflet -
The strong buttery taste and the bitterness of matcha, which are the characteristics of Cigare, blended well. "Cigare au Matcha" is a simple but straightforward expression that I think is the most understandable.
In the first year of its release in 2017, "Cigare au Matcha" by Yoku Moku came in a colorful tin, which was innovative for the brand. I still have the tin, but I can't think of a use for it... (> <)

This time, I bought Yoku Moku as a souvenir. Of course, I wanted to eat it myself! The taste is so reliable and I want to keep eating it forever. The staff at the store were also very kind and helpful!

I received a seasonal limited edition Cadorettonne from Yoku Moku as a gift, and although I usually enjoy their snacks, this one was a disappointment. It contains two types of sablé cookies - chestnut and sweet potato. The chestnut sablé was crispy and good, but the sweet potato one was a bit heavy and not to my liking. Overall, it was a miss for me.

When you think of Yoku Moku, you think of Cigare cookies. The unmistakable deliciousness that I've been eating since I was a child! Made with plenty of butter from Hokkaido. They apparently use so much butter that it's been said, "any more and it wouldn't be a cookie." The moment you take a bite, the cookies melt in your mouth, and the irresistible deliciousness just keeps coming! But it's not just Cigare cookies, I also can't resist wanting to eat Vie au Chocolat Noir. I'm greedy like that... I love indulging in the alternating crispy luxuries. I have an Instagram account: y.catherine.y.

I was looking at the lively Yoku Moku storefront during Halloween and discovered "Financier" for the first time! So I bought it. When I got home, I tried the pumpkin flavor, which tasted like chestnut pumpkin. The chocolate one tasted like chocolate! Hmm, maybe it's better to leave Financier to Henri Charpentier and stick with Yoku Moku's Cigare for higher satisfaction? The New Year version is here now! I only bought Cigare au Chocolat. Seems like I'm completely falling into their trap...!? Wishing you a great year ahead! I bought the Christmas version! Due to being short on money, I only bought Cigare. It was delicious! Enjoying the Halloween spirit with some sweets. Bought them thinking they were cute and tasty!

Yokumoku is known for its chocolate-coated cake, but did you know they also have éclairs and baked goods? The signature item is the Cigare, made with simple ingredients like butter, sugar, eggs, flour, and almonds. The packaging had a Tanabata theme, perfect for the season. The Cigare is crispy and melts in your mouth, with a delicate texture. By adding just the right amount of butter, they achieve a rich flavor without making the pastry too heavy.

I have visited Yoku Moku Ginza Mitsukoshi store multiple times. Whenever I see it, I feel like buying their sweets (*^。^*) Yoku Moku is a staple in the department store basement, right? I love their Cigare cookies, but I end up buying the Double Chocolate Au Lait and Double Chocolate Noir alternately. Both have a delicate crispy texture and a gentle sweetness of chocolate, which is very elegant. Langue de Chat cookies are really wonderful sweets, aren't they? I end up finishing them one by one in no time, and they make me want to buy more when I see them again. I will definitely visit again soon (≧▽≦)/~♡

A while ago, I received a White Day gift from my colleague S. I really love this. S said, "I was thinking about getting chocolates or assorted sweets, but..." You don't need to do anything extra. This is all I need. I want to tell Yoku Moku the same thing. Just the Cigare is enough. Instead of creating other products, focus on lowering the price of Cigare. I just want to quietly enjoy eating this. I often receive it as a souvenir, but I usually only have 2-3 pieces before sharing with others. I want to have it all to myself. I have refrained from buying it myself because it feels different. This time, I received the smallest 10-piece pack as a return gift for obligatory chocolates, but my dream came true. I took them all out of the bag for a commemorative photo. I will savor each one. The buttery flavor, crispy texture, and delicate melt-in-your-mouth sensation are irresistible. It's bliss. But, I still want to try the larger tin size. I think I could handle 36 pieces.

Summer greetings - delivered with delight. In addition to the cigars, there are three types of cookies filled with fruit-flavored cream. The can is not navy blue, but crimson. You can bite into the cigars without unwrapping them, or you can peel them back to enjoy the crispy texture. Both of us prefer the orange cream, while the strawberry cream is a bit too sweet. The winter edition in a navy blue can includes chocolate cream and nut flavors, providing a satisfying experience. Nostalgic.

The Mont Blanc cake is a must-have! Just look at the cross-section closely! The layers of the cake are as fine as a mille crepe, with finely chopped chestnuts sprinkled on top. The cream of the Mont Blanc is not too sweet, with a subtle and elegant taste. This Mont Blanc goes well with tea rather than coffee. Even though I usually prefer coffee, I feel that enjoying it with tea brings out the true flavor of the Mont Blanc without overpowering it. The aftertaste is not too heavy, leaving only the lingering deliciousness. I look forward to autumn every year for this treat! However, it is about the size of a 5-inch cake, so when divided into four pieces, it may feel a bit small for a Mont Blanc lover like me.

This is a sweets shop located on the basement second floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi. They have multiple stores mainly in department store basements nationwide. I purchased the Plain Cigare and Cigare au Chocolat this time. Cigare is a rolled langues de chat biscuit like a cigarette. It has a nice buttery flavor and a light crispy texture. Cigare au Chocolat has a slightly sweet chocolate cream inside the Cigare. I prefer this one.

Yokumoku's Cigare cookies are my go-to treat! They have a classic and delicious taste that never gets old, and the price is reasonable. I haven't met anyone who doesn't like them. The cookies are easy to eat with their spiral shape and crispy texture, making them popular with girls. I also tried the limited edition Valentine's Day version dipped in chocolate, and it was delicious! I wish it had come in simpler packaging though. The wooden box packaging is cute, but it does make them more expensive. You can usually find them in department stores, so I'll definitely continue to rely on Yokumoku for gifts in the future.

I have been familiar with Yoku Moku since I was a child. When it comes to Cigare, it is already a classic snack. Yoku Moku is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Currently, they are selling a Petit Cigare Assorti set to commemorate the 40th anniversary until the end of March (1,050 yen). The set includes mini-sized Petit Cigare (6 pieces) and Petit Cigare Au Chocolat Sale (6 pieces) coated with chocolate and sprinkled with salt. What comes with this set is a Cigare strap. My wife really wanted it, so I bought it. The strap is quite well-made and closely resembles the actual product. I purchased it mainly for the strap, but the buttery flavor of the Cigare, which has remained unchanged since the old days, was very delicious. I have a feeling that I will end up with 2 or 3 more straps by March.

Yoku Moku's Cigare cookies are light and crispy with a nice level of sweetness and great flavor, making them a staple in the world of baked goods. The Billet series features thin cookies coated in chocolate, which are delicious and easy to enjoy in a convenient size. I sometimes buy them for myself, but more often than not, I use them as gifts. My first introduction to Yoku Moku was through receiving them as corporate gifts during the holidays. The individually wrapped cookies make them easy to store and they have a good shelf life, making it easy to choose assortments based on the recipient's preferences.

I received a Yoku Moku assortment. Yoku Moku's Signature Cigare x14, a simple but crispy baked good with a buttery flavor. Cacao Double Orange x9, chocolate dough with orange flavored cream. Sablé au Thé x8, sablé cookie with tea flavor. Double Fraises x10, crispy dough with strawberry cream. I still prefer the Cigare. It's simple but delicious with a strong buttery taste. Thank you for the feast!
