I had lunch while drinking beer during the day! The restaurant had a wide variety of lunch menus at a great deal, specializing in okonomiyaki. This time, I ordered some appetizers to go with my beer and finished with okonomiyaki. It feels like these old-fashioned restaurants are disappearing lately. The simple interior, tables with hot plates, and dishes served on aluminum foil. I ended up ordering too much and drinking too much, haha. Thank you for the delicious meal! Next time, I'll come for some yakisoba!

A business traveler from Tokyo came and wanted to eat okonomiyaki, so I asked them to order something for me. When I returned, they had ordered ginger pork instead of okonomiyaki. However, the ginger pork was delicious. It was rich and went well with mayonnaise. The sunny-side-up egg was a nice touch, and I finished it all with rice. I still want to try the okonomiyaki next time.

Osaka, Minami, Kitahorie. Very close to Osaka Metro Nishi-Nagahori Station. Exit from the 6th exit of Nishi-Nagahori Station, walk east. Walk, walk. From the central library intersection on Shin-Naniwa Street, cross the Amida Pond and on the next northwest corner, you will find this restaurant. It's been a while since I went shopping in Horie♪ Many shops have changed while I was away, but this one is still in the same place, running steadily. I used to come here often, so it feels nostalgic♡ Inside the store, it hasn't changed at all from the past, and although it was a bit early for the crowd to start, there were still plenty of customers. Luckily, there was one table available, so I sat there and started with a bottled beer♪ The beer was poured into a well-chilled glass, and it was also well-chilled, making me go "Ahh♡" The first bottle was gone in no time, and as I moved on to the second one, cheesy potato yaki appeared!! The beer went down well with it. Just when I thought it was going too well, a delicious yakisoba with plenty of suji and konnyaku arrived. This yakisoba was so delicious with plenty of soft suji that had been simmered well♡♡ At first, my friend said he wasn't very hungry yet... but he ate the yakisoba so much... that's why I ordered the large portion. Oh well, it's fine. Then, I ordered another beer, and for the finale, we had to have pork okonomiyaki♪ It's classic, but it's really delicious. It was delicious. The cute part-time waitress was very quick and friendly, which made the okonomiyaki even more delicious. This place is definitely the best for okonomiyaki in Horie♪

I probably haven't been here in over 10 years. It's early evening and there's no one inside the restaurant. Cheers with a beer! - Oyster balls (small oysters, about 5 pieces, a bit disappointing) - Shrimp yakisoba (thick noodles with sauce) - Grilled grated nagaimo and mentaiko (a bit different from what I imagined, light) - Special beef cheek meat with garlic salt grill (let's enjoy the day off tomorrow) - Sudachi chu-hi (tastes great) It's nice to gather around a warm iron plate with okonomiyaki on a cold day. Thank you for the meal!

The squid yakisoba, beef yakisoba, and high-class yakisoba with soy sauce were all delicious. The combination yakisoba with beef, konjac, and green onions, as well as the combo yakisoba with pork and octopus, were also tasty. No need for any other details, it was delicious.

I always order the Butatama for takeout! The sauce has a slight acidity to it, but I think it goes really well with the fluffy texture of the okonomiyaki. I went with my family at night once, but there weren't many seats available. What left an impression on me was the horumon yaki and kimchi. It was incredibly delicious, but I can't quite remember it clearly. It seems like some celebrities also visit as there were autographs displayed. I plan to keep coming back here in the future!

The place is located in the western part of Horie. The shop seemed old or dirty, perhaps because they do a lot of takeout orders. I ordered stir-fried bean sprouts and squid and pork okonomiyaki. The stir-fried bean sprouts had a fried egg on top and included pork, but the flavor was a bit weak, though it was decent. I forgot to take a picture of the okonomiyaki, but it was fluffy and delicious, although the amount of squid was less than expected. During lunchtime, they offered complimentary rice and miso soup, but I chose not to order it. Compared to other affiliated stores, I felt that the ambiance and taste of this one were the worst.

I visited this okonomiyaki restaurant for the first time with a friend. There weren't many okonomiyaki places around, so it was quite crowded. We ordered a variety of dishes, and my favorite was the Wagyu beef burger okonomiyaki! It was a taste I had never experienced before and I was really impressed. While pork and chicken dishes are common in many restaurants, this place had a wide range of dishes using beef, and they were all of high quality. I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised and I would love to go back again. It seems like there are other branches as well, so I will try visiting those too. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I'm hungry~! I decided to try the Negiyaki again at a Teppanyaki restaurant with a cold beer~♪ This is my first time at this Ponpoko-san restaurant, but it's quite cozy with only 4 table seats! The place is run by 3 male staff members. Let's start with a draft beer~♡ The beer after work tastes so good~♪ Now, let's dig in! The grilled beef tongue with salt! The staff grills it before serving. It has plenty of bean sprouts and beef tongue. There's a lot of garlic too. Hmm... it's overcooked, the beef tongue is really tough! And it's too bland. The tough beef tongue is terrible... and the bean sprouts have an unpleasant smell because they weren't cooked properly. Squeezing lemon on it... makes it even harder to eat... this is a disappointment. Let's move on! The Negiyaki with beef tendon! You can choose between ponzu sauce, soy sauce, or sauce... I'll go with ponzu sauce♪ Wow, it's huge~! This is the Negiyaki!! Looks delicious, right~? Let's dip it in the ponzu sauce and try it. Oh no, the ponzu sauce is not good! It has a stale and soy sauce smell... The Negiyaki is delicious though... what's with this ponzu sauce? Wait a minute! Wait a minute, sir! What is this awful ponzu sauce~? I'm shocked. Yesterday, I went to a meeting for fishing at the end of the month with my fishing mentor and members for the first time this season, and we went to an okonomiyaki restaurant at the edge of Kitahorie. It's just a little past the North Star of Omurice. I heard it's usually quite crowded, so we made a reservation. There were rows of signatures on the wall. I thought it must be comedians since it's Osaka, but I was surprised to see signatures from EXILE's ATSUSHI, B's Matsumoto, and many other artists. First, we wait for everyone to gather with some appetizers. I was surprised to see a 5500 yen okonomiyaki on the menu. It's an okonomiyaki with sirloin, 2 large shrimp, squid, garlic sauce, and onion slices. I wonder who's going to eat that? Maybe someone from EXILE? The "Mountain Mixed Grill" is recommended for the Tonpei-yaki. It contains konjac, nagaimo, eringi, and enoki mushrooms. The green onion salt teppan goes well with beer. The sujikon kimchi was quite spicy. We ordered a bottle of Kuro Kirishima shochu around this time! Next, we moved on to the sauce dishes. First, yakisoba. The thick noodles have a satisfying texture. The okonomiyaki was called "Issen-yaki(?)" because my fishing mentor ordered it. It also has yakisoba in it. It's a variety of noodles. After work, I stopped by Tanuki Tanukitei (Ponpokotei). I forgot my digital camera, so I took photos with my iPhone 5. Every time I took a photo, it made a loud noise, which was annoying. I ordered the usual oolong tea. Then, I ordered the "Toriponzu-yaki" (950 yen) and the "Haikara-yaki" (1050 yen). The Toriponzu-yaki had sweet onions and crunchy bean sprouts. The chicken skin was crispy and delicious. It had a hint of buttery flavor, so I think they use butter in it. The Haikara-yaki had beef tendons and konjac. I always choose soy sauce over sauce, and it was the right choice as the soy sauce added a nice salty touch. I wanted to try the "Buta-hirayaki" too, but I was too full. I'll definitely come back for it next time. Thank you for the meal.

Tonight, I felt like eating okonomiyaki! I had some errands to run around Horie today, so I decided to stop by Tanuki Tei (Ponpokotei) in Kitahorie for some okonomiyaki to fill my stomach. First, I ordered a draft beer. A must-have at Tanuki Tei is their Sukicon Kimchi, which is stir-fried konjac and tender simmered beef with kimchi. The kimchi itself is sweet, fruity, and incredibly delicious. The beef is tender and flavorful. Perfect with beer, it's a must-try! I also ordered the Salt Garlic Yakisoba in a large size, another favorite of mine. It's a salt-flavored yakisoba with plenty of garlic, giving it a stamina boost. The large size is a big portion, enough for two people. For okonomiyaki, I chose the Ebi-Tama (shrimp and egg) option. They use large, juicy shrimp which are really tasty. The batter is fluffy and delicious. It seems like I always order the same items at Tanuki Tei no matter which location I visit. Next time, I want to try something different.

The restaurant Gon wanted to go to was temporarily closed, so we asked the salon owner for a recommendation and ended up at "Tanuki Tei (Ponpokotei)" in Nishi-ku, Osaka. We ordered the three-flavor yakisoba, where you can choose three ingredients from squid, pork, shrimp, octopus, and beef. We chose squid, pork, and shrimp. The noodles were slightly thick and very tasty. The salon owner recommended the "Negiyaki," which is a type of yakisoba with beef sinew, konjac, and leeks. You can add bonito flakes as you like. It was delicious. "Tanuki Tei (Ponpokotei)" has several branches in Osaka, both directly managed and franchised. The branch we visited in Kitahorie seemed to be a franchise.

I have eaten at various okonomiyaki restaurants before, but this place was the best. They have a unique menu that sets them apart from other chain restaurants, with dishes like "Mountain Delicacy Mix Okonomiyaki" and "Whole Garlic Okonomiyaki" that were delicious and elegant, bringing out the flavors of the ingredients perfectly. You can also choose whether to have cheese inside or on top of your okonomiyaki, allowing you to change the flavor of the same dish. The only downside is that the place is small, but it's definitely a restaurant that makes you want to come back for more! If you're a long-term couple, you should definitely visit this place without worrying about the size.笑

When I was on a date with my girlfriend, we were talking about wanting to eat okonomiyaki for dinner, so we looked for an okonomiyaki restaurant and ended up coming to this place. It was Sunday evening and the restaurant was empty except for us, giving off a typical okonomiyaki restaurant vibe with quite a few celebrity autographs on the walls, showing that it must be popular. We had okonomiyaki, yakisoba, and the recommended tomato salad, and everything was delicious.
