I bought some crispy cookies from Jam Auntie, with strawberry jam and grape jam. The cookies are crispy and have a subtle pear scent that spreads in your mouth. Jam Auntie's jams are made with ingredients from Hokkaido without added water, and they are free of additives and artificial coloring. *Next to the shop, there is an Anpanman shop.

There are plenty of jams. When I visited in September, I recommend trying the melon and haskap flavors. I didn't hesitate to buy them. There are also mini sizes available, perfect for trying out. These products are available at various roadside stations and souvenir shops, so maybe I didn't need to rush to buy them?

This is a shop attached to the Furano Morikyo Anpanman Shop. I was surprised by the name "Jam Oba-san" as it seems to be pushing the limits of copyright, but it's actually an officially approved shop by Yanase-san. The Croissant Catarana Rainbow (560 yen) is a croissant with Catarana sandwiched in between, hence the name Croissant Catarana. On top of the Catarana, there are not seven, but five types of jam, creating a rainbow effect. It may seem like a case of "anything goes", but it actually works well together. The Catarana has a strong flavor, which complements the jam nicely, making it a surprisingly good combination when eaten together.

During a stroll in Furano, I stopped by Furano Jam Garden to look for souvenirs. The store was filled with jams as the name suggests. With so many jams to choose from, it was hard to decide. In the end, I bought melon jam and carrot jam, both of which I couldn't imagine the taste of. I also couldn't resist the croissant rusk, being a croissant lover. I bought it as a snack for the road and tried it immediately. The texture was different from regular bread rusk, very fluffy and easy to eat! The sweetness was just right and I really liked it.

I drove for 80 minutes and arrived at Furano's Harukyou. I enjoyed the view from the observation deck and around 9 am, I thought about getting a croissant here, but they weren't ready yet, so I ordered soft serve instead. You can choose from two types of toppings for the soft serve. I chose strawberry over haskap. I also decided to buy jam to take home. The soft serve was served on a bed of corn flakes, topped with a generous amount of fruit sauce. The sauce was wonderfully sweet and the acidity was just right. There weren't many customers dining in yet, but I enjoyed my treat while listening to the background music in the store. As expected from a jam garden, they had a wide variety of jams for sale. The melon jam I bought is incredibly sweet!

I knew that there was a jam shop next to the Anpanman shop. When I saw the sign, it said "Jam Auntie's Jam Workshop" haha. So, it's called "Kyosai Farm Furano Jam Garden". They have a wide variety of jams like strawberry, grape, apple, etc. My wife once received tomato jam as a gift from my father when we had just gotten married. It was not good at all, but we couldn't throw it away. In the end, I threw it away. On the way from Furano Jam Garden to Obihiro, my wife and I talked about this old story. It felt like a long time ago, even though we've only been married for 5 years. That's the short story. The Haskap jam from Furano Jam Garden is not as sour as I thought it would be. It's quite good.

The jam was very runny and sticky (lol). The taste was good! Everyone kept trying samples (lol) There were too many varieties to choose from (lol) I ended up buying a shiso miso flavored one! I shouldn't eat too much bread because it's fattening. It seems like there is a jam lady somewhere, I wonder if she really exists? Thank you for the meal! (๑´ڡ`๑)

On the second day of my trip to Hokkaido, I visited Campana Rokkatei and Kashi Kobo Frano Delice in the morning, and then had lunch at Niboshi Chinese Soba Yuki to Hana in Frano Marche 2. After that, I headed to Frano Jamen in the afternoon. I was quite full after lunch, so it was lucky that I didn't have to eat at the jam shop and could just buy some souvenirs. However, being full also made me less inclined to buy souvenirs, and I regretted not buying more when I returned to Fukui. I had received strawberry and blueberry jam as a souvenir from relatives before, and I enjoyed them with yogurt. Frano Jamen is located in the Rokugou area, which is the easternmost part of Furano City. The area is known for being the location where the TV drama "Kita no Kuni Kara" was filmed. To get there, you need to drive south on Route 38 towards Obihiro along the Nemuro Main Line, and then turn left at a sign that says "Rokugou." Keep driving straight through the mountainous area until you see the sign for "Tomikawa" on the right, and then turn right into the forest where Frano Jamen is located. The parking lot was in front of the shop, and there were only a few customers. Inside the shop, there were jams everywhere, and the most popular jam was the Haskap. I purchased a combination of Haskap and strawberry jam. The shop's origin story explained how they started making jams using discarded carrots from farmland. I brought the jams back to Fukui and tried the Haskap jam on toast, which had a slightly tart and refreshing taste. The strawberry jam was more common but still enjoyable. When I checked the fridge a few days later, I found that my family had already eaten half of the jams.

Anpanman is located next to it. It was an unexpected combination, but luckily I was a little hungry! The deliciousness of Catalana and croissant!

The cookies are crispy and delicious. They are average.
