I heard that a new chicken yakiniku restaurant opened near Chikugo in Yame, so I decided to check it out. Upon researching, it seems to be a new restaurant by AOKI Co., Ltd., which also operates "Hachizou" and "Pasta no Ousama". The location is right next to Pasta no Ousama Yame store, with a large and spacious parking lot. The restaurant is quite large and well-maintained, with a good number of energetic employees who are well-trained. While the main purpose of my visit was to try the chicken yakiniku, they also had lunch set menus available. I ordered the Aritadori B set meal (including 5 different cuts of chicken) for 1,320 yen. Ordering was done through mobile order, which was a bit tricky at first, but the staff provided detailed explanations, so it was manageable. The dishes were brought to the counter, and despite being a yakiniku restaurant, there was no smoke smell thanks to the top-down duct system on the individual stoves. The chicken, especially the Aritadori, was delicious and the portions were generous, with the option for rice refills. Even though I ordered 5 cuts, 3 cuts for 1,078 yen would be sufficient for lunch. They also had a good selection of sauces like soy sauce, salt, Yawata-ya Iso-goro's ichimi, and rock salt. It would be great if they also offered yuzu pepper. The freshly cooked Hino Hikari rice from the pot was also tasty. Overall, a great restaurant has opened up in the Yame and Chikugo area, perfect for lunch during work. Personally, I'm not a big fan of Hachizou or Pasta no Ousama, but I really like this place. I might become a regular customer. Thank you for the meal. *I have requested a correction for the incorrect address listed. The correct address is on Google Maps.
