A okonomiyaki restaurant in the business district that is open until 11pm. Starting with pork ponzu, they serve delicious okonomiyaki, modanyaki, yakisoba, and teppanyaki. I couldn't order the garlic fried rice because they ran out of rice. It's a small shop, so it seems to fill up quickly.

This shop has been around since I joined the company. It's been a popular spot even after relocating. Whenever you visit, you're likely to find someone from work here, as it's a favorite among colleagues. I visited with a friend after a long time. We toasted with large beer mugs and oolong tea. I found a lovely glass, so they served my oolong tea in a gold metal glass. It's been quite chilly lately. We ordered pork modern, dried squid, and pork ponzu. The pork was crispy, with excess fat removed, and served with green onions and ponzu sauce. It was refreshing and delicious with a nice texture. The tender dried squid with chili mayo was a perfect choice. The main dish was pork modern grilled to perfection. The aroma was delightful, and it was satisfying to eat. As we enjoyed our meal, more and more customers kept coming in, many of them foreigners. Perhaps this place was featured in a book or online? Everyone seemed to be enjoying the flavors of Osaka with smiles on their faces. The next customers were waiting at the entrance, so it's time for us to leave. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I visited again on a business trip to Osaka because I wanted to see Mama-san. It was super crowded yesterday, so I had to give up, but I came back today. When I entered the restaurant, it felt comfortable as always! ★Tonpei-yaki★Grilled squid★Yakisoba (squid and pork)★Modern-yaki (mixed)★Om-soba. The dishes were delicious as usual, and Mama-san greeted me with a lovely smile. It's rare to find a place where you can relax and unwind even when you're tired. Thank you for the delicious meal. I'll definitely come back again!

I visited this restaurant without a reservation after finding it on Tabelog while looking for okonomiyaki. We were warmly welcomed with smiles. We tried various dishes such as shrimp and squid okonomiyaki, tonpei-yaki, yakisoba with mentaiko, modern-yaki (mixed ingredients), and natto-yaki. The food was delicious and served freshly cooked. The friendly mama-san also engaged us in lively sports talk. The natto-yaki was especially tasty and unique. I would love to visit this place again when I return to Osaka, even if it's by myself. Thank you for the wonderful meal! ^_^

Since I was with my boss, I only have one photo, but the natto-yaki and pork kimchi okonomiyaki were delicious!

I came to Fukuoka on a business trip and tried the Mix Modern dish. The staff at the restaurant said even men would be satisfied, but the dish was not heavy at all. It was light and I found myself finishing it in no time. The outside was crispy and the sauce was delicious. It was really, really tasty. I highly recommend the Mix Modern dish. Also, having a large size of draft beer was a great bonus.

Hidden on the second floor of a building in a back alley, there is a quiet okonomiyaki restaurant. It used to be on the first floor, but had to relocate during the bubble economy. They used to serve lunch as well, but now it seems they only open for dinner. They are closed on the third Saturday, Sunday, and holidays, and open from 5pm to midnight on weekdays (maybe 5:30pm on Saturdays). Most dishes are priced under 1,000 yen, and besides okonomiyaki, they also offer a variety of side dishes for a casual izakaya experience. The large beer is a great deal at 850 yen for a generous 1-liter glass. Everything is recommended, but personally, I suggest trying the tonpeiyaki, yakitori, butapon, mixed modern okonomiyaki, natto yaki, butatama kimchi, and omusoba or mentaiko soba for noodles. They have a good selection of drinks, but the sours are on the sweeter side, so it would be nice to have hoppy or local sake available. Overall, it's a great Osaka-style restaurant run by a friendly couple.

Just a 3-minute walk from Keihan Temmabashi Station, there is a hidden gem in Osaka called "Goeimon". My colleagues and I often go there for lunch. The go-to order is definitely the okonomiyaki lunch set. It comes with okonomiyaki, rice, miso soup, and even ice coffee and a bonus apple for dessert, all for just 1000 yen. The okonomiyaki is quite filling, and you even get change back from your 1000 yen. The master who cooks the okonomiyaki right in front of you is very cheerful and friendly. He even remembers how much shichimi spice you like on your okonomiyaki. It's a cozy and welcoming place. Many salarymen come here to enjoy a meal and get energized for the afternoon. Goeimon is a beloved okonomiyaki spot in Osaka. I highly recommend stopping by!

Located away from the bustling area of Kitashinchi, this restaurant offers large portions at a reasonable price. It's on the second floor of a building, so it may be a bit hard to find, but it's worth a visit. Most menu items are under 1000 yen, and the recommended dish is the "modern-yaki". Affordable, delicious, and filling - this is what a true Osaka okonomiyaki restaurant should be like.

I was excited to visit a magic restaurant that was featured on TV and conveniently located near my home. However, I soon realized that I had been deceived by the television show. I didn't realize at the time that many restaurants featured on shows have sponsors who sell specific cooking energy sources and kitchen equipment, or beverages like beer. The celebrities on the show kept exclaiming "delicious," but I now understand that it's just part of their job. Marian was the only one who said "not good" and caused a panic. The restaurant turned out to be just a tired-looking okonomiyaki place, and the food wasn't delicious. I probably would have been satisfied if I had gone there without watching TV. I felt angry while eating and haven't visited since.

This is a traditional okonomiyaki restaurant that I have been visiting often. They put a lot of cabbage in it, so it's really delicious. I forgot to take a photo this time, so I will take one next time I visit.
