Kushiage Kashimura 🍢 Located in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, a 5-minute walk from Shinsaibashi Station. Established 19 years ago. I can't believe there's such a great kushiage restaurant in Shinsaibashi ❤️ Beautiful flowers at the entrance, a nice and upscale atmosphere with a good counter seat. We tried the Kashimura Shota Omakase Course for ¥6,300: Kumamoto shrimp, Mie Tekiya oyster, Shinshu soba, Jinenjo wasabi, fruit tomato, crab cream croquette, Ehime sea bream with trefoil, Tokushima lotus root, sea bream roe, Yamaguchi mozuku and nanohana, Miyazaki chicken breast with eggplant, mushroom cream croquette, Akashi octopus with avocado and prosciutto, Hokkaido pumpkin croquette, Chiba peanut, Yakushima potato croquette sandwich, Kagoshima black pork croquette sandwich, Nagasaki asparagus with ginger, scallop with vinegar, and dashi ochazuke. 14 creative kushiage skewers and seasonal dishes like those from a traditional Japanese restaurant. The portion is generous but doesn't leave you feeling heavy. The Kumamoto shrimp at the beginning was plump and delicious. The batter was crispy, and the shrimp was juicy and tender. The Nagasaki asparagus was fresh and crunchy, perfectly fried. The asparagus with tartar sauce was simple and delicious. The dashi ochazuke at the end was comforting and the perfect finish. All of this for ¥6,300. The owner, Mr. Kashimura, is a great host and his stories are enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit! ✨✨

The restaurant specialized in skewers had a strong focus on each skewer, bringing out the best of vegetables, meat, and fish. The creative skewers were made with great care to highlight the quality of each ingredient. The staff were also excellent, creating a warm and loving atmosphere that is rare to find in this day and age!

Received Menu: Kashimura Shota Course (¥6,300) - Saga Prefecture Asparagus, Sea Bream with Mitsuba, Homemade Sesame Tofu and Rapeseed Blossoms, Shinshu Soba and Jinenjo, Kagoshima Prefecture Black Pork and Eggplant Stew, Cream Croquette with Mushrooms, Fruit Tomato and Beef Loin, Lotus Root, Hokkaido Pumpkin Croquette, Rapeseed Blossom Sandwich, Quail Sandwich, Miyazaki Prefecture Chicken Breast and Cheese, Yamaguchi Prefecture Mozuku Seaweed, Oyster and Prosciutto, Tokushima Prefecture Shiitake Mushroom, Yakushima Potato and Smoked Cheese, Yomogi Mochi, Dashi Ochazuke Impression: Started with the large asparagus from Saga Prefecture. Asparagus goes really well with oil, right? The sweetness increases and the crispy texture is irresistible. The kushiage here offers many unique skewers like sesame tofu and Shinshu soba, which I hadn't tried before. Apparently, mozuku kushiage is popular in Okinawa, and the crunchy texture was quite interesting. Even though it's creative kushiage, the combination of ingredients is well thought out. Skewers like the Yakushima potato and smoked cheese had a delicious mix of smoky cheese aroma and sweet potato moistness. Despite eating a lot, the price of ¥6,300 is reasonable considering the location in Shinsaibashi. The atmosphere is also calm and stylish, making it a cool place to visit. I recommend this place to young people as well. Give it a try!

The interior of the restaurant is designed with a raised seating area, giving a sense of luxury. - Asparagus: The first dish was asparagus from Shiga Prefecture. The size and texture were excellent. - Mushroom Cream Croquette: A croquette kushiage topped with dried shiitake mushrooms from Hyogo Prefecture. The mushroom flavor was light and creamy. - Shinshu Soba: Soba kushiage topped with natural yam and wasabi from Gunma. A new and unique combination of flavors. - Sea Bream and Mitsuba: Next was sea bream, a refreshing change from the usual kushiage. - Kagoshima Black Pork and Eggplant Simmered: A dish with black pork from Kagoshima and simmered eggplant. - Tokushima Lotus Root: The texture of this dish was irresistible. - Hokkaido Pumpkin Croquette: A croquette with thick-cut bacon inside, combining the sweetness of pumpkin with the saltiness of bacon. - Mie Oysters: Oysters with a mild and easy-to-eat flavor. These oysters were from the Shima Peninsula. - Yamaguchi Mozuku: A surprising dish of fried mozuku, with a firm and crispy texture that was incredibly delicious. - Tokushima Shiitake Mushroom: Dip it in ponzu sauce for a perfect combination. - Sandwiches: Potato and Quail Egg Sandwich, Rapeseed Flower and Cream Croquette Sandwich. I found a delicious kushikatsu restaurant in Shinsaibashi where you can enjoy a creative kushikatsu course! The atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice, especially the stylish counter with sunken kotatsu seating. The kushikatsu itself had a light batter and was so tasty, you could easily keep eating them one after another. It was super delicious!

A 19-year-old established tempura restaurant in Shinsaibashi. They served many recommended tempura dishes such as prawn, crab cream croquette with fruit tomato, beef fillet, seaweed and yam, asparagus, etc. The tempura was light and delicious, so I could eat a lot without feeling heavy! Lastly, I had a curry bread which was incredibly tasty with a chewy and crispy texture. They make everything from scratch, even the dishes they use are handmade! Not only was the food delicious, but chatting with the chef was also enjoyable. I definitely want to go back to this restaurant!

It has been quite a while since my last visit. This restaurant is located about a 5-minute walk from Shinsaibashi Station and serves creative deep-fried skewers. Tonight, I enjoyed the omakase course with N-san while sipping on highballs (you can also order creative deep-fried skewers a la carte). We savored a variety of creative deep-fried skewers tonight. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I made a reservation for a time when the restaurant seemed to be less crowded, from the opening time until dinner at 17:00. It is a counter-only restaurant where you take off your shoes at the entrance. I had the chef's choice course, which included Kumamoto shrimp with lemon, Awaji conger eel, mushroom croquette with broccoli sauce, conger eel roe with ponzu, black pork sandwich from Tanba, black bean sandwich from Tanba, Hokkaido pumpkin and Chiba peanut sauce, mozuku and yamaimo with Miyazaki chicken breast, croquette with potatoes from Yakushima and onions from Awaji, Soba from Shinshu with fruit tomato and basil, shiitake mushrooms from Tokushima with ponzu, lotus root from Tokushima, mashed octopus head with ponzu, asparagus, and mugwort mochi with red bean paste inside and kinako on top. It was a delightful and creative experience with various types of skewered tempura.

It has been a while since my last visit to this creative tempura skewers restaurant located about a 5-minute walk from Shinsaibashi Station. The restaurant mainly offers an omakase course, but you can also enjoy creative tempura skewers a la carte. Tonight, I visited with Ms. N for a meal. I enjoyed creative tempura skewers with a highball in hand as part of the omakase course, and ordered two additional items a la carte to savor the skewers. Thank you for the meal.

A calm atmosphere at the counter of this high-end restaurant. Each piece of tempura was delicious and went well with wine. The croquette in the second photo was crispy and excellent! You can tell that each piece of tempura is carefully fried. Sometimes you see the apprentice getting scolded by the head chef at the counter. It's hard to tell if it's a serious situation or not.

There is a shop located at about the same distance from both Nagahoribashi Station and Shinsaibashi Station. It was my first visit this year. I made a reservation in advance and visited with N. We had freshly fried assorted skewers in front of us at the counter, accompanied by a highball as usual. Thank you for the delicious meal.

The nearest station is Nagahoribashi Station (Osaka): Kushiage Kashimura (about a 5-minute walk from Shinsaibashi Station). I visited with Miss N for dinner tonight. Once again, I enjoyed a variety of kushiage dishes with a highball in hand. Thank you for the delicious meal.

The atmosphere was really great. It was stylish with flowers, and the food was delicious. However, the craft beer and omakase were expensive. Is it necessary to spend 30,000 yen for two people? It's not a club, so why do we feel like we're being judged? It was disappointing.

The drink prices aren't even listed. Even a simple oolong tea costs almost 800 yen. They don't accept credit cards. GO TO EAT meal vouchers are not accepted either. It's expensive and the taste is just okay. The portion sizes for the courses are small. Definitely a disappointment.
