Located inside the Amu building at Hakata Station, this place is bustling with housewives, groups of women, and elderly couples during lunchtime. While the pasta and curry dishes are delicious, the highlight here is definitely the tea. The Rooibos Tea Mango Peach flavor is a refreshing blend of Rooibos tea with fruity notes that will make your heart dance. A recent favorite of mine is the Five O'Clock Tea, an original blend designed for a relaxing break around 5:00 PM. It has a mild taste similar to Japanese black tea, with hints of jasmine and a refreshing finish. It pairs perfectly with milk. Enjoying a scone with a cup of tea here is a rare moment of relaxation in the midst of busy days. The aroma of tea is truly delightful. Thank you for the meal. This place offers a moment to pause and unwind - Afternoon Tea Tea Room.

I was craving something sweet, so I visited the store. It was a weekday but quite crowded, so there was a bit of a wait. I appreciate that they have decaf tea as an option in their set, which is great for pregnant women. I always choose the seasonal dessert, and I prefer the set options over parfaits because you get to enjoy a variety. I had the cheese cream and strawberry parfait, chestnut chocolate cake, and chestnut and strawberry shortcake (not the official names). The pot of tea they serve is generous, so even with the substantial dessert, it's a good balance. It cost 1690 yen, which I think is a good deal at Hakata Station. Cake sets usually range from 1500 to 2000 yen at other shops. The seating, especially on the sofa side, is quite spacious. I want to come back on a weekday as it gets really crowded on weekends.

I visited a place where I could have afternoon tea for the first time~ I ordered a dessert set, which came with a plate of lemon cake, apple pie, and scones, along with a pot of Assam tea. It was delicious!

It's been a while since I last visited. This time, I came for dinner around 7:00 PM. I ordered the main dish with a drink set. It was something like minced shrimp lemon ginger pasta, I think. For dessert, I chose a raspberry and peach shortcake. The drink was a chai cream soda for an additional 100 yen. All of this for around 2000 yen is a great deal! The pasta came with bread, and the drink was from a menu that usually costs over 700 yen. The dessert was also available in a half size, which was nice. There are plenty of seats and it's not crowded during dinner time, so I recommend visiting before they close at 8:00 PM.

I visited this place for the first time after being invited by a friend. I didn't know there was such a cute shop in this area. It seems to be crowded with girls at all times. Even though it was a weekday, I had to wait for about 15 minutes. The afternoon tea set had several options to choose from, and it was relatively affordable, perfect for a cafe time after lunch. The seasonal scones were delicious.

Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Hakata-ku #Hakata Station #afternoontea #afternoonteatearoom #AfternoonTea #AfternoonTeaTeaRoom I found autumn♡ #MontBlancParfait I wanted to try the 3-piece dessert set, but it's only available from 2 pm. I had the Apple and Chestnut Parfait and Cafe Latte instead. Mont Blanc ↓ Vanilla Ice Cream ↓ Apple Jelly ↓ Apple and Chestnut. It was delicious and satisfying, but there wasn't enough of the delicious Mont Blanc cream on top. I want to try it again this year. Visited on 2021.09.03. In Fukuoka, there are Daimaru and Mitsukoshi stores. I knew there was one in Amu Plaza, but it's always crowded, so I avoided it. It was relatively empty this day, so I decided to visit. I wasn't very hungry for sweets, so I just ordered a drink. I tried something new called "Tea Jelly," which was black tea jelly with pink lemonade syrup, mixed with Perrier. It was a new and interesting taste that surprisingly matched well. The lunch options also looked delicious. The atmosphere of the shop was cute, and I would like to visit again. They accepted electronic payments.

I went in search of Christmas limited menu items. I arrived a little after 11 o'clock and there were already about 5 groups of customers. There were also a few solo female customers like myself, so I thought it was a place that was easy for solo diners. Although I was tempted by the food menu, my main purpose was the Christmas limited menu sweets. I ordered the apple and berry apple pie pudding as a single item. It cost 1375 yen. It was a beautiful dessert. It was so beautiful that I didn't know from which angle to take a photo. The pie was really crispy. The pudding, baked with apple pie inside, was also exquisite. The staff were very polite and the service was excellent.

After lunch, we decided to relax and headed inside the restaurant. I have visited a few times before, and despite the open space, it feels cozy and I end up staying longer. The staff is friendly and attentive. The price of the tea is a bit high, around 800 yen, but since it comes in a pot, you can enjoy multiple cups and feel like you're getting a good deal.

Originally known for its living and miscellaneous goods, the shop became famous for its total concept store in the mid-1980s, offering clothing, food, and living items. Throughout the country, cafes have been added to the well-known miscellaneous stores. When visiting on a holiday, there was a short wait with a few people in line, so I returned about an hour later and there was no wait, so I was able to enter right away and was seated at the only available table. The interior of the store has a countryside English style but with an open and spacious atmosphere. The customers were 99% women!! I ordered the seasonal special "Strawberry-themed Fresh Strawberry Tea (750 yen excluding tax)". It was served with a teapot of Strawberry Darjeeling Second Fresh Blend. The teacup and teapot both had fresh strawberries inside, and it came with a sauce made from crushed fresh strawberries. The first cup was poured by the staff, and the aroma of strawberries enveloped me. It was a tea experience unique to this time of year.

Afternoon Tea Tea Room Hakata Amu Plaza Store Fukuoka City, Hakata Station Area A natural living goods and tea salon with branches in major cities nationwide. Established in 1972 as an apparel maker affiliated with Sazaby League, which started with the import and sale of furniture. Located on the 6th floor of Amu Plaza near JR Hakata Station, this place is popular among young women and often has long lines. In February 2020, I was able to enter smoothly without waiting. The interior is cute and fairytale-like, designed to resemble an English garden. The seating is tight with compact tables. Some shops have a bakery or a miscellaneous goods store attached, but this one only offers a café with tea cans and sweets for sale. Menu prices include tax: Food starting from 1430 yen, Sweets starting from 759 yen, Drinks starting from 649 yen, and seasonal menu items are also available. Recommended order: Fruit Mix Frozen for 770 yen (tax included). It has a smooth texture like a smoothie made by freezing and pureeing old-fashioned fruits. It is plentiful, dairy-free, with a smooth mouthfeel and a slightly sweet taste that quenches your thirst. This is a classic menu item that I used to order when they were located on Nishi-dori or at the Kokura Itoya store many years ago. About 30 years ago, Afternoon Tea was considered the forefront of fashion and had a special appeal. In recent years, many unique cafes have emerged, but this place still offers a sense of stability. Back then, they used to have strawberry fairs and other events that changed from time to time, which was always enjoyable. This reflects the spirit of Sazaby: "It's a beautiful day. We want to deliver irreplaceable 'small happiness' in your ordinary life. We want to smile and say, 'Today is another good day for you.' This is the word that is needed at this moment." I haven't visited many places on Tabelog recently, but I should stop by occasionally. Afternoon Tea Tea Room JR Hakata, 3 minutes walk from the 1st floor ticket gate (Amu Plaza 6th floor). Open from 10:00 to 21:00, no regular holidays, completely non-smoking. Parking is available nearby with assistance based on shopping amount. Some menu items are currently suspended or on reduced hours, so please check the official website before visiting. Amu Plaza Hakata: https://www.jrhakatacity.com/

It's been a while since I had afternoon tea with a late lunch. Today's menu included a smoked bacon and egg sandwich with hot tea. The sandwich was filled with plenty of vegetables, as was the minestrone soup. It was quite filling and satisfying. The total came to 1408 yen, but the 10% tax was a bit expensive.

I felt like having some tea, so I went to Afternoon Tea. The interior of the store is elaborate and has a nice atmosphere. As expected, there were a lot of women (laughs). Ordering a set allows you to enjoy cakes in just the right size, so you can taste a little bit of each. I can't eat multiple normal-sized cakes and be satisfied with just one. The refined customer service was truly impressive as expected from a nationwide chain. The cakes paired well with the drinks! I think it's a good place to take a break when you're tired! Thank you for the meal!

During the summer vacation, it can be tiring with all the crowds, so I had lunch a little earlier than usual. The shrimp omelette was delicious, I wish it was a bit bigger! The mango chili sauce was not too spicy and refreshing, it was delicious.

While exploring department stores in Hakata, I had a galette for lunch. It was my first time trying it, but it's basically a crepe. The ice cream and fresh strawberries added a nice touch, and I didn't get tired of it until the end. Maybe pairing it with tea would have enhanced the fruity aroma.

I entered this shop with a friend to take a break. It had a very bright and charming atmosphere. Since it was past lunchtime, we only had the cherry blossom and red bean cappuccino chai, but the other menu items looked delicious too, so I plan to go back again.

I want to take a break while drinking black tea. I feel like having something slightly sweet on the side. So, I decided to visit this place. It's my first time here, and the atmosphere is very girly, making me hesitate for a moment. But I remind myself that I just want to drink black tea and take a step forward. I don't want something as sweet as cake, so I choose the cream tea set. I love scones. I'm intrigued by the limited edition tea, so I choose the Sakura and Azuki Cappuccino Chai. It comes with two scones. It's nice that the flavor isn't too overwhelming. The Sakura and Azuki Cappuccino Chai tastes like cherry blossom mochi, delicious but quite sweet. It would be fine on its own, but a bit too sweet when paired with pastries. Even the scones feel that way, so I can only imagine how it would be with cake. It would have been better if I could adjust the sugar since it's a hot drink. Lesson learned, it's safer to order something more traditional in unfamiliar places. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered the pasta set. The taste was average for the price, but the stylish atmosphere was enjoyable, so it's good. I recommend the dessert options more than the lunch menu.
