Inside, there was also green paper made to look like grass. The set includes three milk chocolate truffles and three dark chocolate truffles. The milk chocolate had its usual taste, but the dark chocolate was deliciously intense. The inside is a soft chocolate that melts in your mouth. The seasonal packaging always seems to attract people's attention.

Tomorrow is White Day! This year, I have a few people I have a connection with, so I'm looking forward to White Day more than last year (laughs). I received an early return gift already - a Godiva Mini Heart Can in a limited edition strawberry milk color. Inside are Truffle Strawberry Shortcake x3 and Truffle Milk x2. The strawberry shortcake truffles are amazing, truly fitting for White Day! In the past, White Day was all about candies and marshmallows for some reason. I'm glad those days are over! Thank you, chocolate industry, for your successful strategy! The Godiva gift is reasonably priced and looks adorable, with a delicious taste of shortcake. It's perfect for a White Day return gift. I wonder if department stores and chocolate shops are crowded today? Well-prepared men probably got their gifts in advance. Despite any crowds, White Day shopping seems relatively quiet. Godiva is a safe choice, but any delicious and lovely chocolate from lesser-known brands will be appreciated by women. Especially for a true love, a hidden gem might be even more appealing. This year, I received a gift from a different friend. This time, I received the following: - Chapon Marichu Assortment 6 pieces This year, the character is a black cat with a fierce look. It's cute, isn't it? Truffle mousse vanilla milk, Ladyre caramel milk salted caramel, Cool Blanc Rune praline - 5 varieties. They are all delicious, but I especially liked the caramel with a nice texture. I like cookies from Godiva. I think the balance with chocolate is good and delicious. I received a gift from a friend. Last year during Valentine's Day and White Day, I tried these macaron-shaped chocolate sweets called Macaron Chocolat. They were so cute and made me feel all warm and fuzzy just by looking at them. A box of 3 costs 1404 yen. There were three flavors: Royal Milk Tea & White Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, and Caramel & Milk Chocolate. The Royal Milk Tea & White Chocolate had a ganache filling infused with Earl Grey tea, coated in white chocolate. The aroma was delightful. The Dark Chocolate had a dark chocolate coating over a chocolate macaron. It had a sophisticated bitter taste that I really enjoyed. The Caramel & Milk Chocolate had a milk chocolate caramel ganache filling with a hint of salt that enhanced the deliciousness. They were all so yummy that I wished they were a bit cheaper so I could have bought another box.

Recently, you can purchase products from famous chocolatiers around the world, so I'm having trouble deciding which one to choose for Valentine's Day. I like Godiva chocolates because they have a simple taste that is liked by people of all ages. Each piece, whether it's truffle, praline, or ganache, is rich and smooth, which is very appealing. However, I personally recommend the small square chocolate squares called "Carre" because they are simple yet never get boring.

The Valentine's chocolates in 2014 were quite delicious, so I decided to buy some for my friends too. If you spend over 4000 yen, they give you a cute pouch as a gift. I thought it was really adorable in my favorite color pink and a good size, so I decided to buy two. The friend chocolates were included as well. I receive chocolates every day, so they run out quickly. Godiva is a classic choice. No matter which one you choose, they are all delicious, making them perfect for everyday chocolates. The pouch has a wide opening and is very convenient to use. However, it is a bit thin and has a plastic smell.

I received this chocolate from a well-known chocolate shop located in Shinjuku Takashimaya. It is a high-end chocolate shop originating from Belgium with stores nationwide, so it is familiar to many people. This time, I received a box containing two types of truffles in bite-size portions. Both were easy to eat with no strong flavors. They had a good balance of sweetness and richness, making them delicious and appealing to a wide range of age groups. Thank you for the treat.

I saw a collaboration between GODIVA and Kogaken on TV, and since I had previously tried a delicious collaboration between Seven and Kogaken, I thought this one must be delicious too. I went to the local GODIVA store, but they were out of stock and I didn't know when they would restock. I figured they probably wouldn't get many in this rural area, so I would have to come before the store opened in the morning. Oh well, I don't feel like waiting to buy it... I wondered if I could find it online somewhere. I found out that Takashimaya was selling a set of two boxes online, and since I was planning to buy two boxes anyway, I decided to order them. Eventually, the order arrived (I had ordered other things from Takashimaya as well). The set of two boxes cost ¥3240 and included two types of burdock financiers - white roasted sesame & milk chocolate, black pepper & milk chocolate, and one basil financier with lemon peel & white chocolate. The burdock ones might be a matter of personal preference, but I found them delicious with a unique earthy flavor. I liked the sesame and black pepper ones too. But you know what, the basil one was the most delicious! The combination of basil, lemon, and white chocolate was perfect! Surprisingly, the basil one became my favorite... haha.

GODIVA is famous worldwide, and although I wouldn't buy it for myself, it's great as a gift. My husband brought some home. The box is so cute! Of course, my husband doesn't appreciate the cuteness. There were three pieces in the box. I wonder how much of the price goes into the box itself? But overall, it's a reliable choice and makes a great gift. I also love their cookies.
