After eating fried chicken, I happened to come across a lunch sign for Shinryugetsu while walking to the parking lot. Even though I wasn't in the mood for barbecue, I decided to try their stone bibimbap. There was a group of about 10 people having a party in the raised tatami seating area, and one person was enjoying cold noodles for lunch. I ordered the stone bibimbap for 840 yen. The hot stone pot arrived with a fragrant smell of crispy rice. Despite it being my second lunch of the day, the smell of the crispy rice made my appetite increase. The bibimbap included ingredients like bamboo shoots, soybean sprouts, white kimchi, spinach namul, minced meat, shredded seaweed, carrots, and a raw egg yolk. It was a healthy mix of various ingredients. I first cracked the egg yolk with a spoon and spread it over the dish. Then I vigorously mixed everything together, creating crispy rice against the hot stone pot. I repeated this process several times to ensure the rice stayed warm while eating. I started eating, and halfway through, I realized I had forgotten to add the gochujang sauce. I quickly added a generous amount, mixed it well, and the flavor intensified. The dish was delicious, especially with the crispy rice. After finishing the bibimbap, I enjoyed a refreshing daikon salad and soup. Korean cuisine is surprisingly light, with plenty of vegetables making it healthy. After paying and leaving, I noticed the lunch sign offered a complimentary after-meal coffee, so I returned to the table to order it. I relaxed and enjoyed the free coffee before leaving. Thank you for the meal.

I went to "Shinryugatsu" on New Year's Day. This is a long-established yakiniku restaurant in Kurume. Around 30 years ago, the most popular yakiniku restaurant in Kurume was "Ariran". Following that, "Shinryugatsu" and "Daishoen" were the second and third most popular. At that time, both restaurants were located within a 100-meter radius and had a friendly rivalry - "Shinryugatsu for delicious meat, Daishoen for affordability". Daishoen later shifted to a high-end direction and became very successful. It is now a thriving restaurant that everyone in Kurume knows. On the other hand, Shinryugatsu has maintained its traditional style of operation. They have also opened a branch called "Shinryugatsu Higashi Kushihara" in Kurume's Kushihara-cho and are working hard. Shinryugatsu is one of Kurume's representative yakiniku restaurants. Thank you for the delicious meal.

On June 8, 2011, I decided to have lunch at the main branch instead of the East Kushihara branch in Kurume City, as the atmosphere there is better. I ordered the new menu item, Harami lunch (840 yen), which came with coffee, but I told them in advance that I didn't need it. The dish included 3 types of sauce, 7 pieces of Harami, which looked delicious and were cooked tenderly and tasted good. It also came with bean sprout namul, salad, pickles, rice, and wakame soup with a strong sesame oil flavor. Normally, this meal would come with coffee for 840 yen, which I think is a good deal for a solo lunch. Taste: 33/50, Cost performance: 11/20, Atmosphere: 9/20, Service: 5/10. Overall, the repeat rate is 58/100.
