I made a reservation for a weekday night with a baby stroller in tow. I thought it would be quiet on a weekday, but it was fully booked with reservations! I visited the restaurant after work because I wanted to eat straw-grilled bonito tataki. First, we toasted with beer. A thickly sliced bonito was served on a large plate. We ordered a half portion. We usually eat it as it is. "Delicious! It's quite good," we said. We chatted about how the taste may vary slightly depending on the season. We also ordered many other dishes, but unfortunately, we couldn't get the mackerel sashimi and seaweed salad due to them being out of stock. This is a new restaurant in the Gather Hankyu Building. The atmosphere inside was lively like an izakaya, but the seating space felt a bit cramped. The appetizer (300 yen) was chawanmushi with bonito flakes sprinkled on top at the table. The red snapper simmered in a kabuto-style (1180 yen) had a good flavor, but the portion was small. The bonito straw-grilled tataki (1480 yen) had thick slices and looked luxurious, but lacked the aroma of straw. The Shikoku pork steak (1480 yen) had more garnishes than the main steak, and was slightly overcooked.
