The interior is not exactly clean. The pork was not bad, but the oil was too cold, resulting in soft spring rolls and clearly leftover dry rice. Hmm, tough.

Local Chinese restaurant. Reviews on a certain Gmap are not very positive, but I've learned that people's opinions can be unreliable, so I decided to check it out for myself. Upon entering, the first impression was not bad, despite the reviews. I ordered the set lunch for 680 yen and a lemon chu-hai for 330 yen. The chu-hai came with three small ice cubes but was surprisingly cold. For lunch, I had sweet and sour pork and spring rolls. The spring rolls had a gentle texture, and the cabbage had a unique and fantastical color. The sweet and sour pork was delicious, with a flavorful sauce and well-fried pork and vegetables. I wouldn't mind if it came as a set meal. The slightly shabby and indifferent atmosphere didn't bother me. I don't really like spring rolls and cabbage, but overall, it was a good experience.

The nearest station is Keihan Furukawabashi Station or Yamada Station, but the restaurant is located north of the station. It is located in Suita City. It is a bit hidden from the main road, so it's not very noticeable. The exterior looks very old-fashioned, so it takes a bit of courage to enter. I decided to enter after seeing the lunch set signboard "Yakisoba and Karaage @680 yen" during a late lunch time. Inside, there is a counter and table seats at the back. The atmosphere inside is dimly lit and has a nostalgic feel, with the owner looking like a traditional Chinese restaurant owner and being quiet. I ordered the lunch set and waited. Despite being a one-man operation, he skillfully prepared the food. It was fun to watch. And then, the food was served. Surprisingly, it came with rice. For this price, you get a generous portion of yakisoba, three large pieces of freshly fried karaage, rice, and soup. It's a complete throwback to the Showa era. Osaka Machi-Chinese cuisine, amazing! Machi-Chinese cuisine doesn't need to be exceptionally delicious, it just needs to be generous and affordable, and this place nails it. A lunch set that makes you want to drink during the day, cheers to that!
