Tsukemen Rocky is a ramen shop near Temmabashi Station that specializes in tsukemen noodles. The menu consists of three types of tsukemen and maze-soba. I tried the special tsukemen, which comes with a serving of 250g of noodles. The noodles are thick and chewy, with a great texture that is enjoyable even on its own. The broth is a rich blend of pork bone and seafood flavors, with slices of pork belly and bamboo shoots hidden within. The special version also includes thick-cut pork belly, seasoned egg, and seaweed on top of the noodles. The high-quality pork belly is savory and slightly sweet. The dipping soup is flavorful with a hint of yuzu, leaving a refreshing aftertaste. Overall, a satisfying meal.

This is Tsukemen Rocky. It's my first visit here. This place used to be Tsukemen Suzume, right? I visited around 3pm, and even at this time, the counter was full. It seems like there are many foreign tourists as Osaka Castle is nearby. Luckily, I found a seat quickly. I ordered the ramen with seasoned egg in salt broth. The noodles are thick and firm, 250g, topped with a seasoned egg and seaweed. The soup is a light pork bone broth with visible pork fat and fried leeks. The salt flavor is strong yet light, and it pairs well with the thick noodles, pork fat, and aromatic fried leeks. There are diced bamboo shoots in the soup, giving a nice crunchy texture. Wrapping the noodles in seaweed adds a great flavor. The seasoned egg on top is delicious with a creamy yolk. The sliced pork in the soup is tender and has just the right amount of fat. I added a bit of vinegar from the table and some yuzu shichimi pepper at the end for a tangy and slightly spicy finish. Overall, it was a delicious bowl of ramen from start to finish.

"Spicy Ajitama Tsukemen (Regular) for 1,100 yen. You can choose the level of spiciness from 1 to 3, and this time I chose level 2. It's a bit pricey, but the soup is quite delicious. There is an additional pot of soup on the table for refills, which has a refreshing yuzu flavor and adds to the overall taste."

On September 18, 2023, I went to Tenma-bashi for lunch and visited "Tsukemen Rocky" for their delicious large portion mixed noodles. I ordered the large portion mixed noodles for ¥1,100 and sat at the counter. The bowl arrived with an impressive amount of noodles, along with a side of rice. The noodles had a great texture and were mixed with the flavors of leeks, garlic, and the tasty sauce. It was a heavy meal but incredibly delicious. I made sure to mix everything well and enjoyed every bite. The meal ended perfectly with the rice, creating a flavorful combination. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience and I highly recommend trying the mixed noodles at "Tsukemen Rocky" in Tenma-bashi.

The ramen was decent, with a typical tonkotsu and seafood broth. The noodles were a bit firm, and the soup was average. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, but the taste was nothing special. Overall, it's a place for those who enjoy this type of flavor, but it's not worth going out of your way for.

Today, I went on a ramen tour to Temma Bridge and finally visited a tsukemen shop that I hadn't been to yet, even though it's close by. The location is great, right near Temma Bridge Station on the Osaka Metro. I arrived during off-peak hours, so there was no wait to get in. I ordered the "Tsukemen" and it arrived in 10 minutes.
- Broth: The broth is a mix of pork and seafood, with a slightly thick and slightly sticky consistency. It has a nice pork umami flavor and a pleasant seafood taste. The soy sauce base is smooth and well-balanced.
- Noodles: The thick straight noodles are visually appealing and have a chewy texture. They are very mochi mochi (chewy) and you can taste the wheat flavor.
- Char siu: The pork belly char siu in the broth is well-cooked and tender, with a delicious meaty flavor. There are about 3 slices of char siu, and the fat content is just right.
After finishing the meal, I had soup-wari (diluting the remaining broth with hot water) and it was very easy to drink with added seafood flavor. The soft-boiled egg was also deliciously creamy. I am also interested in trying the clear soup "Shio Tsukemen" next time.

I went to a popular tsukemen specialty restaurant located just a short walk from Temmabashi Station for lunch. It was quite crowded during lunchtime. They offer a total of 3 types of tsukemen on their regular menu, including one mazesoba. I tried the most popular menu item, the special tsukemen, and it was to my liking. The noodles were thick and had a chewy texture. The dipping soup was a rich blend of pork bone and seafood broth, making it flavorful yet easy to eat. The generously sized chashu topping provided a satisfying bite. They also served a hot pot of yuzu-based dipping soup as a finishing touch, which was delicious. They even have a "Rocky Portion" menu for big eaters, with a whopping 691g of noodles. Overall, it's recommended for those with a big appetite.

Located right outside Temmabashi Station on the Subway Tanimachi Line, this restaurant has both table and counter seats, making it easy for individuals or groups to dine. Customers purchase their meal tickets from a machine, and they also accept payment through PayPay, which is convenient for those who prefer not to carry cash. The tsukemen noodles, resembling food samples, were beautifully presented and tasted delicious when dipped in the rich pork and seafood broth. The thick slices of chashu provided a satisfying bite. The cute naruto fish cake was a nice touch. Tsukemen can be messy, but the restaurant provides paper aprons and towels for a worry-free dining experience. The owner is very friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy for solo female diners to enjoy their meal.

[Tsukemen Rocky] Just a short walk from Temmabashi Station, this shop, a branch of Tsukemen Hirano in Tamatsukuri, is known for its delicious tsukemen. Their signature dish, Special Tsukemen, is priced at 1400 yen, while the Special Mazesoba (with extra rice) is 1470 yen. The flagship Tsukemen features a double soup made from pork bones and seafood, with thick noodles containing whole wheat flour that have a strong chewiness and go well with the thick soup. The incredibly delicious mazesoba has spicy minced meat and a flavorful soy sauce dressing that pairs perfectly with the thick straight noodles, crunchy bamboo shoots, and vegetables. Plus, you can enjoy the extra rice to the fullest. Both dishes come with a seasoned egg and thickly sliced seared chashu. The generous portions will surely satisfy your appetite, so it's a good idea to visit when you're feeling hungry. Tsukemen Rocky is located at 1-3-19 Tanmachi, Chuo-ku, Osaka City, Osaka. Open Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 22:00, Saturday from 11:00 to 15:00, closed on Sundays. No smoking allowed inside the restaurant.

Located just a short walk from Temmabashi Station, Tsukemen Rocky is a great ally for lunch refugees with its long opening hours from 11:00 to 21:00 on weekdays. On this day, I ordered the default "tsukemen" at the ticket machine by the entrance on the right and was guided to a table seat. The beautifully arranged tsukemen arrived after a short wait! The noodles were smooth and chewy with a great texture and flavor. The dipping sauce had a perfect balance of tangy seafood, pork bone, and back fat flavors. You can also adjust the taste with the condiments on the table. After finishing the noodles, I enjoyed a refreshing finish with the soup. They have been opening new stores one after another recently, and I want to come back to try other menu items. If you're interested in delicious and beautiful tsukemen, be sure to give it a try! It was really delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a ramen restaurant called "Tsukemen Rocky" around 11 am on a weekday in May 2023. Located just a 2-minute walk from Temmabashi Station. The restaurant was about 70% full when I arrived. I chose the "Spicy Tsukemen" for ¥980 at the ticket machine and was seated at the counter. I requested a spice level of 2. The counter seats felt cramped and uncomfortable, giving a sense of being poorly designed. After a 10-minute wait, my dish arrived - noodles with a brown dipping sauce topped with seaweed and narutomaki. The noodles were visually appealing and had a strong texture. Dipping the noodles into the sauce, I could taste the umami flavor of fish and meat broth, with a moderate spiciness. The toppings of bamboo shoots, chashu, green onions, and watercress added a nice variety of textures. The noodles were firm yet smooth. The spiciness of the dipping sauce was just right, but I thought it could be a bit spicier. Adding yuzu shichimi pepper from the table enhanced the flavor. Sprinkling vinegar on the noodles created a nice balance of rich sauce and acidity. I finished the meal by mixing the remaining sauce with soup. Overall, I enjoyed the delicious and satisfying tsukemen at "Tsukemen Rocky" near Temmabashi Station. I hope they can improve the cramped counter seating, but dining at a table should be more comfortable. If I come back, I would like to try their maze-soba next time.

Lunch on this day was around Temmabashi Station. I headed to "Tsukemen Rocky" in search of a hearty meal, and let me tell you, this place is a must-visit for its large portions. It's definitely a recommended spot for big eaters in Temmabashi. On this day, I ordered the mixed noodles (¥1,000) with a large portion (+¥100). It's a ticket system, but you can use PayPay. They have yuzu shichimi, chili oil, and other toppings for flavor variation. The cleanliness of the table setting is great. The restaurant has a long depth. Here is the mixed noodles in a large portion! The amount is incredible, isn't it? The side rice looks tiny in comparison. Toppings include seaweed, minced meat, egg yolk, diced bamboo shoots, green onions, and fish powder. Garlic is served separately, but just the garlic chives alone provide a strong aroma, so be careful if you have work afterward (laughs). Mix it up by flipping the noodles upside down. The noodle portion is 350g! There is also a special portion of 450g and a mega portion of 550g, but as a moderate big eater, this is more than enough for me. It's delicious! The flavor packs a punch! I couldn't resist adding garlic (laughs). Before I knew it, I had finished the large portion in no time. That's how satisfying it was. Lastly, I added the side rice to the delicious bottom part! That's a separate stomach right there. It remains delicious until the very end, allowing you to enjoy the satisfaction of a large serving. I'd like to try the mega portion once, but I'm not confident! (laughs) Thank you for the meal. Today's lunch cost ¥1,100.

Yes, it's ramen time! "Special Salt Tsukemen 1,450 yen" at Tsukemen Rocky in Tenma Bridge. This was my first visit to Tsukemen Rocky, located in Tenma Bridge. The restaurant has 4 table seats and a spacious counter at the back. After some deliberation, I decided on the "Special Salt Tsukemen" instead of the regular tsukemen. Despite dining alone, I was seated at a table. After a short wait, my dish arrived.
[Visual]
The noodles were so beautifully arranged, it was like a work of art!
[Soup]
The dipping sauce is a flavorful clear broth made from pork bones and their homemade salt sauce. The richness of the lard and the aroma of charred onions added a nice touch.
[Noodles]
The thick, straight noodles had a good chewiness and texture. Although the regular portion is 250g, I regretted not getting the large portion.
[Toppings]
The thickly sliced grilled pork belly chashu was deliciously tender, fragrant, and had just the right amount of fat. After finishing the noodles, I even enjoyed the soup by diluting it.
Overall, it was a satisfying meal. I received a stamp from the owner, who promptly stuck it on the ticket machine. Thank you, Master Hirano!

While moving around the area near Keihan Temmabashi, I finally visited "Tsukemen Rocky" for the first time. I noticed a "NO NOODLE NO LIFE sticker" on the upper right side of the ticket machine, which was a good sign! I was in the mood for tsukemen, so I ordered the "maze-soba (with extra rice)" from the ticket machine. After a comfortable wait in the cozy interior, my dish arrived with extra rice and garlic on the side. The Taiwan-style maze-soba was topped with spicy minced meat, fish powder, seaweed, green onions, and leeks. I added the garlic reflexively and mixed everything well before digging in. The thick noodles, made with whole wheat flour, were delicious on their own, but combined with the generous toppings, it created a rich and satisfying dish. The noodles weighed 250 grams and had a satisfying chewy texture. After enjoying the noodles, I indulged in the sinful act of diving into the rice. It was a guilty pleasure, but devilishly delicious. I'll have to work out extra hard tomorrow! This was my 95th bowl of noodles this year.

Located a 2-3 minute walk from Temmabashi Station on the Keihan Main Line and Osaka Metro Tanimachi Line, I visited "Tsukemen Rocky" after hearing that they serve delicious tsukemen near Osaka Castle. I arrived before 1:30 PM and found the place to be very popular with a constant flow of customers. The interior of the restaurant is long and narrow, with table seating at the front and counter seating at the back. I decided to order their specialty, the "Tsukemen" which includes chashu and seasoned egg for ¥1,400. Many people were ordering the specialty, so it seems to be a popular choice. The dish came with two huge slices of chashu! I later realized that there were also tender chashu slices in the soup. The large menma added to the volume of the dish. The soup is a rich pork bone soy sauce base with a hint of fish powder flavor. The richness of the pork fat adds to the deliciousness. The noodles had a chewy and bouncy texture with a strong bite. I really enjoyed the firm texture of the noodles. Even though I don't usually eat tsukemen, I could easily get hooked on the noodles here.

Near Temmabashi Station, Tsukemen Rocky is a place that offers continuous service, providing relief for lunch refugees. I ordered the "Spicy Tsukemen with Flavored Egg" for 1100 yen at the ticket vending machine located to the right of the entrance. Inside the restaurant, there are table seats in the front, counter seats and the kitchen in the back. I sat at the far right end of the counter, watching the smooth and efficient workflow until my dish arrived. First, I tried the noodles as they were, enjoying the chewy texture and flavorful custom-made noodles that held up the soup well. The creamy dipping sauce with floating back fat has three levels of spiciness, and I chose level 2 this time, which packed quite a punch! If you're not used to spiciness, be careful. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. After finishing the noodles, I mixed the soup with water and finished the dish. It was a very satisfying meal. Next time, I'll have to try level 3 spiciness! Before leaving, I greeted the owner, Mr. Hirano, and presented him with a "NO NOODLE, NO LIFE." sticker. It was really delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Today's order:
- Ajitama Mazesoba 1,120 yen (with extra rice)
- Special Tsukemen 1,470 yen
We shared and had these dishes today. To order, use the ticket machine to purchase tickets. It's great that PayPay is accepted. From the sign in front of the shop, we chose the 250g mazesoba and were surprised by the large portion. It was a challenge to finish, but the amount was truly impressive‼️ There are three levels of spiciness, but unless you love spicy food, we recommend level 2. The mazesoba had thick noodles that intertwined perfectly, giving a true mazesoba experience. The tsukemen had a collaboration of creamy egg and flavorful soup stock, creating an addictive taste. No wonder this place is so popular! Thank you for reading until the end. Check out our other posts too‼️

[Tsukemen Rocky] "Salt Tsukemen" 980 yen "Chashu" 350 yen "Extra Noodles" 100 yen The dipping sauce has a rich animal flavor, combined with a salt-based sauce and seafood. The surface is topped with plenty of back fat and caramelized onions, which work wonders. The dipping sauce has a deep richness, but the back fat and onions cover up any potential monotony. This is the type of salt tsukemen I really love. The noodles are thick and straight, with a clean surface that is easy to slurp up. They have a good chewiness and blend well with the dipping sauce. The chashu in the dipping sauce is tasty, but the highlight is the additional chashu. It is thick and flavorful, offering a meaty delight. It could be a bit more seasoned, but it's still delicious.

Tsukemen Rocky, located in Chuo-ku, Osaka, near Temmabashi, offers a delicious Tsukemen noodle dish with a spicy and sweet miso-based dipping sauce. I visited for the first time on a Saturday around 3:30 PM and opted for the regular size with a level 2 spiciness. The noodles were thick and chewy, and the sauce had a nice balance of flavors. Even at level 2 spiciness, I found myself sweating a bit. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. #TsukemenRocky #OsakaFood #Temmabashi #KansaiFood #Ramen #Noodles #Foodie

[Tsukemen Rocky] "Tsukemen" 880 yen, "Chashu" 350 yen. The dipping broth is a blend of pork bone and seafood, known as "mataoma style". The soy sauce base is mild and rounded in flavor. The floating back fat enhances the richness, while a hint of acidity stimulates the appetite. Delicious! The noodles are thick and straight, with a satisfying chewiness and a nice wheat flavor. The chashu in the broth is tasty, but the standout is the additional chashu. It's thick, flavorful, and incredibly delicious. You can write your name on the back of the food ticket and drop it in the box inside the restaurant for a monthly raffle. If you win, you get a free pass for a month.
