How many more times can we do yakiniku in the garage? I'll keep insisting until we do it!! Even my cold-loving wife won't object if I say, "I'll buy the meat." She's all about cash, after all. Today, I'll buy some "raw lamb" for Satchiku and "pork belly" for Basama. I'll message Basama saying, "Let's do yakiniku~," even though it's on a flip phone, so it might not work. If I email her, she'll reply, "I already ate." She's slow to respond... Come on, Basama, this isn't the old days, dinner is early now... It's really cold, so shorts and a t-shirt won't cut it. At least wear three-quarter pants and a shirt. My lips are turning purple and I'm shivering, but my wife just laughs and says, "You're cold." I chug some beer. It'll take a while to get drunk and warm up, but I'll chug it... Today it's just the two of us, so half a cup is just right. Satchiku really knows his stuff, the pork belly is delicious. It's sweet... Aren't you guys a little too sweet?? The raw lamb is consistently tasty, even though it's imported. But Satchiku's yakiniku is always delicious.

In the second half of the long weekend, I went to a restaurant with my classmates from the local area. I knew that the restaurant was run by a pork producer. Three elderly men ate pork, beef, beer, and were quickly full. If it were young people, it would probably cost about 1,000 yen per person. The three elderly men spent 18,000 yen, which is more expensive than a certain meat restaurant at Red Brick Terrace. The taste was not bad, but not particularly delicious, just an average yakiniku restaurant. The pork belly was good though. Did it become expensive because of the beer? It was an unexpectedly high-class yakiniku restaurant.

The inside of the store is clean and spacious. The meat seemed fresh, but the seasoning was not great. The sauce wasn't really to my taste... I didn't like it. The menu is extensive, with plenty of desserts that seem to appeal to younger people. The staff were friendly. It's more of a place to enjoy the atmosphere. It would be nice if they had all-you-can-drink even for a small group. I prefer when the seasoning is more firmly attached to the meat.

I was surprised that there was no picture of Happy World in this food log. Happy World is a must-have for closing the party. It costs around 4000 yen, I think? It's a all-you-can-eat and drink deal for the party... I'm not the organizer so I'm not sure how much it actually costs. It comes with fireworks. It really livens up the atmosphere. Please give it a try. No matter how much meat you eat, you always have room for Happy World when you're in a large group.

The next day, I was planning to eat seafood, so I tried the red pork called Satchiku for the first time. I was unsure of what to order, so I ended up ordering a set of kalbi and grilled shabu shabu! I also ordered a salad and beef tongue, and of course, a big size beer. Unlike Gyu-san, I felt like I could eat quite a bit. I thought I would like to come back again. If I can visit again, I would like to try the side menu next time.

After the meeting, we went to a yakiniku restaurant called "Sachiku" in the city center. It's actually not in the bustling downtown area, but more on the outskirts. The sign says yakiniku, but it's more of a Korean style restaurant. The place mainly serves pork dishes since it's a pork farm. The restaurant doesn't have a counter, but we managed to fit 6 people in a small room. I didn't participate in ordering, I just ate whatever was served. Just kidding, I actually ordered my favorite dishes. The kimchi was a bit thin and salty, but the meat was delicious. I prefer the pork belly, but the shabu-shabu meat seemed to be popular. I ordered some beef hormone after everyone was done eating, and it was tasty. The service was a bit slow, but the food was worth the wait. Overall, we had a delicious yakiniku experience.

This restaurant was opened by a farmer who originally ran a pig farming business and wanted to promote their own brand "Sachiku" as a yakiniku restaurant. Today is a party and the fee is 10,000 yen! "It's expensive, isn't it?" Not all of the fee goes directly to the restaurant, it seems... It's a 2-hour all-you-can-eat and drink event. There is a certain amount of meat served on each plate! There are only enough chopsticks for each person, no chopsticks with the meat, and only tongs on the table!! I don't want to touch raw meat! Let me use the tongs to cook and feed everyone. By the time one plate is finished, everyone's pace finally slowed down! From now on, I will focus on eating myself. I ask for a refill of meat... but it doesn't come quickly, does it? "Hey, did you order the meat?? You're about to start, hurry up and order, before that annoying old man starts getting angry!" You can hear such conversations from each table! This continued until the end of the time, so only alcohol was consumed. After beer, I drank red wine, but it was the same... The service is slow. We ordered before half of it was left! I went to Shari for work. I stayed at a hotel near the station and was invited by a business partner to go to SACHIKU. It was located just 2-3 minutes from the station, next to the agricultural cooperative with a red sign that stands out. The restaurant opened a few months ago and has a clean and modern interior that doesn't look like a typical yakiniku restaurant. I tried the "yaki-shabu" as recommended, which I had never heard of before. Thinly sliced pork loin cooks quickly on the grill, and it's ready to eat in just a few seconds after flipping. I seasoned it lightly with salt and pepper and it was delicious, juicy, and flavorful despite being thin. They also offer beef in addition to pork, and have a variety of side dishes. The prices are reasonable and the place is usually crowded, so reservations are recommended. The restaurant is run by a pork farmer, so they have fresh and unique cuts of meat that you can't find at other yakiniku restaurants. It's a great option for those on business trips to Shari. I also found out that they supply their SACHIKU Akabuta pork to Mikuni Sapporo, which is quite impressive. I revisited the restaurant and tried their "niku maki onigiri," a dish I love since trying it in Miyazaki. It was delicious, and they also have a great selection of desserts.

During the time when drift ice is present in the Sea of Okhotsk, a yakiniku restaurant opened in the town of Shari. It is the second branch of Sasaki Shu Livestock Farm, called "SACHIKU." The location is about a 3-minute walk east from Shari Station. You'll see a JA Bank in front, so it's easy to find. The restaurant specializes in pork, with their own Sachiku Akabuta available. The pork looks red and doesn't really resemble pork. It's juicy and not too strong in flavor, but pork lovers may not notice the difference. They also offer sets, spring roll sticks, yukhoe, cold noodles, and more. When you visit Shiretoko, seafood is delicious, but don't miss out on the Shiretoko-branded pork as well. Second visit in June, but this time I ordered a mountain of salad and chijimi to start, focusing on pork dishes. However, there was one disappointing item on the menu. I ordered the extra-large pork croquette, but it was too greasy and heavy due to the generous amount of pork. It was overwhelming and too rich. This is something they might want to reconsider.

I happened to find this restaurant when I traveled to Shiretoko and decided to drop by. The exterior and interior are pretty ordinary. The inside of the restaurant is relatively spacious. It doesn't have a luxurious feel, but it is clean and has a local atmosphere with many locals dining there. There were also a lot of families, creating a lively atmosphere. The food is quite delicious. You can enjoy fresh meat at a reasonable price. It's highly recommended for those who are not fond of beef but enjoy pork. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely like to visit this restaurant.
