On my way home from work, I stopped by a bakery and found something interesting in the bread corner. They had "eel bread" which seemed to be for the upcoming eel day, so I decided to try it. I also got a curry bread with beef tendons inside. The curry was slightly thick and not too spicy. The beef tendons added a unique twist to the curry bread. The eel bread had banana inside, giving it a slippery texture. It looked cute and creepy at the same time, but it was a creative and unusual bread idea.

Food hall Apro has opened, so I went shopping. I found a spacious bakery called Monpan in front of the register. It had a proper workshop in the back and a wide variety of authentic bread. I decided to make a purchase. The process was self-service, where you pick bread with tongs and a white tray, then go to the register. The payment was done through a self-checkout machine. I bought a whipped cream melon bread for 110 yen (excluding tax) and a croissant for 110 yen (excluding tax). I brewed some tea and enjoyed them. The croissant was crispy with a nice aroma, while the melon bread had a soft inside and a crispy surface with a chocolate sauce topping. The cream was light and not too sweet. I also saw other bread like curry bread with beef tendon and wanted to try more. The bakery corner was stylish and had a small eat-in area near the entrance.
