Two adults. Visited on a Sunday around 11:45 without a reservation. We were told that the sushi set meal would be fine. We were seated at a counter with a view of the ocean. The sushi set meal was ¥3500 and included 5 pieces of sushi, sashimi, tempura, simmered fish, grilled fish, chawanmushi, miso soup, and 3 small side dishes. It was a hearty meal with a view of the ocean in front of us. The service was good, no complaints there, but they only accepted cash for payment. It's worth noting that they also accept cards and electronic money.

Family trip but I didn't want to eat at tourist spots. Managed to get 3 seats reserved immediately. A great location where you can overlook Amanohashidate, one of Japan's three scenic views, from the counter. It was lunchtime and the popular restaurant kept receiving phone calls non-stop. Although the menu had various options, on that day, sushi lunch was the only choice. Don't underestimate the sushi lunch, as it was a luxurious meal with sushi served alongside a traditional Japanese kaiseki course. Sashimi, tempura, grilled dishes, small side dishes, simmered dishes - all were plentiful. The flavors were authentic and each dish was carefully prepared. The chawanmushi, especially, had plenty of matsutake mushrooms and the broth was delicious. The sushi rice was a bit large, but it could be seen as a generous portion. Thank you for the feast.

It was a normal day, but I made a reservation on the same day and visited the restaurant. Those without reservations were being turned away. The price of 3000 yen for lunch was a bit high, but it's worth it to enjoy carefully crafted dishes made with seasonal ingredients while looking at this view. Definitely worth it on a sunny day!

I had never seen Amanohashidate before, so I went to see it with my friend and found Yukeian on Tabelog. The view was incredibly beautiful. The yellowtail shabu-shabu was delicious, so I recommend getting it if you're undecided. Also, the chawanmushi was exquisite.

This was my second visit. I went for lunch during the winter season. I made a reservation at the counter and ordered the sushi set meal for 3,000 yen. The view overlooking Amanohashidate was beautiful, and the delicious meal was well worth the price. Thank you for the meal. I would love to go back for dinner next time.

When I visited Amanohashidate, I stopped by this restaurant! I think you need to make a reservation in advance to get in! I had the sushi set meal that I had reserved! It was a huge portion and each dish was carefully made, so I was very satisfied. The sushi was also very delicious! Considering the portion size, I think it's quite a bargain!

I searched on Tabelog for a place to eat during work and found a restaurant with a large window facing the sea where I could see the beautiful Amanohashidate in light rain. The land side is called Aso Sea and is known for its large sardines. I had a sushi set for lunch for 3000 yen, which included 8 side dishes. The sashimi of sea bream in the basket's shadow was delicious, and there were 5 pieces of sushi, chawanmushi, and soup. I was satisfied with the atmosphere, portion size, and taste. It was full on a weekday lunch visit, and there were three couples at the nice counter. Thank you for the meal.

The atmosphere was really nice. We sat at a table instead of the counter, but the view beyond the counter was really good. We ordered the course menu and the portion was just right, and everything was delicious! I want to go again.

I went to a restaurant in Miyazu for a little errand. It was a bit hard to find as the location is a bit tricky, but the view is nice and the cost performance for this price is quite cheap. There are counter seats, tables, and tatami seating available. It's definitely a restaurant I would like to visit again.

Miyatsu's traditional Japanese restaurant, Sekisouan, offers a stunning view of Amanohashidate from its windows! The sushi set meal costs 3,000 yen and includes sashimi, small dishes, grilled dish, fried dish, 5 pieces of sushi, soup, and steamed egg custard. This price is quite reasonable and the food was delicious!

I was taken to Amanohashidate and had lunch here! It's basically reservation-only (I saw several groups being turned away because they didn't have a reservation). The restaurant has a great view. It was sunny that day, so the sunlight felt nice. The lunch set included sushi, tempura, grilled dishes, sashimi, chawanmushi, red miso soup, and even more sushi! It was quite a lot, but the dishes were elegant and didn't make me feel too full. The tempura batter had almonds in it, and the sweet potato stew served as dessert had figs too. The dishes had some creative touches that made the meal enjoyable. However, there were so many dishes, it might be too much for women. It's good to come on an empty stomach. I struggled to finish the side dishes and had to give up on some sushi (I wouldn't give up on the fish though). The calm atmosphere, beautiful view, and luxurious lunch made it a special experience. Thank you for the meal!

Since it was a same-day visit, we were told that only the 3000 yen lunch course was available. My husband and I toasted with 700 yen draft beer. We were served tempura on a plate, fresh sea bream sashimi, simmered dish, and jelly dessert, along with sushi such as sea bream, tuna, and squid, chawanmushi, and miso soup. Everything was delicious, and the sashimi, although farmed, had a firm texture. I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

A lovely lunch ^_^ Despite the drizzly rain, the view of Amanohashidate from the table was just as rumored - like a sumi-e painting, very charming. The sushi set was delicious, with five beautiful pieces. The miso soup was also tasty. We made a same-day reservation and we were glad they could accommodate us. We ordered the extra dish of bird shellfish, which was a bit pricey at 1700 yen, but it was worth it. I couldn't resist taking a photo halfway through eating to do justice to the restaurant. The portion size was actually larger than shown. The bird shellfish was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I had lunch at Setsu no Aji "Sesshu-an" located on the banks of Amanohashidate, one of the Three Views of Japan, in Miyazu City, Kyoto Prefecture. I made a reservation on the way to Amanohashidate and visited the restaurant. I ordered the sushi set meal (otukuri, three small side dishes, fried food, five pieces of sushi, soup). I chose a counter seat so I could enjoy the view of Amanohashidate while eating. The sushi was made with fresh ingredients and delicious, and the set meal dishes were also tasty and satisfying. It was a delicious lunch. Thank you for the meal.

This restaurant in the Amanohashidate area of Kyoto is filled with an elegant atmosphere. It can get crowded during lunchtime, but it's definitely worth waiting in line to dine here. The course meals are excellent and reasonably priced. I enjoyed the food so much that I want to visit again!

Before visiting Amanohashidate for sightseeing, we had lunch at this restaurant that we had made a reservation at in advance. When we called to make the reservation, we were asked to choose between the daily special set meal or the sushi set meal. My wife chose the sushi set meal (2,500 yen) and I chose the daily special set meal (2,000 yen). We also requested to sit at the counter seats where we could enjoy the view of Amanohashidate. There were 7 seats at the counter, and if you want a better view, I recommend sitting on the left side. The dishes were all elegant and delicious, and considering the price, we were very satisfied with the meal. I forgot to take photos, but I was happy to find grilled corn in the soup and eel in the chawanmushi. The restaurant is about a 20-minute drive from Amanohashidate Station, so if you are traveling by car, I recommend this restaurant as a great place to visit during your Amanohashidate sightseeing trip.

I visited the restaurant "Sesshu-an" in Miyazu City on my way to Ine Funaya in the northern part of Kyoto Prefecture. A friend recommended this popular restaurant to me, which luckily had an available table. The restaurant overlooks Amanohashidate in Miyazu Bay and has a modern feel. The view of Amanohashidate from inside the restaurant is fantastic. I ordered the sushi set for lunch, and each dish in the set was delicious, showcasing the chef's expertise. It was a wonderful encounter with such a lovely restaurant in a distant location.

I visited this restaurant for lunch in Miyazu City. It is a very popular place and reservations are required. The restaurant is located by the sea, with a view of Amanohashidate right in front. For lunch, they only offer one type of sushi kaiseki set, which I tried. Every dish was carefully seasoned and very delicious. While the main dishes have a Japanese flavor, there were two Western-style dishes as well, which was a fun surprise. In addition to what is shown in the photos, the set also includes chawanmushi, soup, and dessert. The atmosphere and taste were both excellent. It was easy to see why this place is so popular. The meal was delicious. Thank you for the feast.

On the second day of my visit to Kinosaki Onsen in March 2023, I went to a restaurant for lunch that I had visited many times before, but it had been several years since my last visit. Following the navigation, I turned at a narrow intersection and found myself on an extremely narrow road where only one car could pass at a time. I continued straight for about 50 meters until I reached a three-way intersection by the seaside breakwater. There was a pole in the middle of the road, making me wonder if I would have to reverse for about 50 meters. However, that was not the case. I entered the restaurant and ordered the omakase set meal for 3000 yen or the sushi set meal for 3500 yen. The meal included a variety of small dishes such as sashimi, tempura, grilled fish, chawanmushi, and a dessert, as well as 5 pieces of local sushi. Despite the trouble with the reservation time being last minute, the meal tasted even better under such circumstances.

On July 15, 2021, for the lunch of the second day of the traditional visit to Kinosaki Onsen, we went to the Snowboat An restaurant, which offers stunning views. Last time we had a sushi course, but this time we opted for a sushi set for 3,300 yen. The set included 5 pieces of sushi with a focus on white fish, seasonal tempura, grilled ayu fish, grilled eel, a small side dish, cheese-baked sazae (turban shell), chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), and plum jelly. Each dish had a simple yet delicious flavor. The combination of the food and the breathtaking view from the counter made for a refreshing and enjoyable lunch experience.
