I bought Godiva's Chocolat Sablé at the Ginza Mitsukoshi department store's basement. It was a Chocolat Sablé with Amaou strawberries, released with Valentine's Day in mind. It had a fancy package and colorful sweets. I bought it as a Valentine's gift for my family, so we ate it together. The crispy sablé with sweet and smooth chocolate was delicious! Personally, chocolate is expensive, but Chocolat Sablé is affordable. And I could really taste the Godiva chocolate, so it was a great purchase (*^^*) The Godiva section at Ginza Mitsukoshi is small, and the variety of products is limited compared to other department stores, but the sweets displayed are probably the recommended ones at that time, making it easier to choose.

I searched around the depachika in Ginza for individually wrapped sweets for around 500 yen each for scattering, and although I thought Godiva was expensive, I still took a look and found a limited edition "Amaou Strawberry Cookies 5 pieces" for 550 yen excluding tax, which was a double win. I also got some for home and had them after dinner. The "Amaou Strawberry Cookies" were 110 yen each, bite-sized with chocolate, and had a mild sweetness. They were made by a company in Fukaya City using strawberry juice powder and concentrated strawberry juice.

I was told that Godiva also sells sables, so I bought the Sable Chocolat Assortment (5 pieces). It includes one piece of 85% dark chocolate, one piece of 74% dark chocolate, two pieces of 55% dark chocolate, and one piece of 33% milk chocolate, each individually wrapped and placed in a box. My favorite was the sable with ganache filled with the rich 85% dark chocolate.
